This place has been a Godsend to us locals with the only other grocery stores being 15 minutes away- not having to leave town to pick up a few things, especially in a rush! You cannot beat the friendly service that Nasim provides or the quality of the meat he gets. On Tuesdays and Thursdays he offers Indian dishes packaged up ready to take home that are incredible and such a great price for huge portions. We’re so happy to have this store and will always support their business!

For a smaller grocery store, they somehow have everything you need!Seriously, there's not been a time I ran out quick for "?", and they had it!The owner and his family are great people and an asset to our local community!Also, this store specifically was featured in "The Magic of Belle Isle," which was a really good Rob Reiner/Morgan Freeman movie!Go Greenwood Lake, NY!!!Nasim recently shared some of his traditional Indian cooking for me to try, and I plan to go tell him to open a MUCH needed Indian Restaurant in this town! Who knew he's such a great cook? And Indian food is NOT easy to get right! He is not afraid of some heat 🔥 either! Hahaha!Peace, blessings always, and abundance! Was in the area and was looking for a sandwich. I’m so happy I found this place by spotting a sandwich reference in their reviews on Google Maps. Both guys there were very friendly and inviting, and these sandwiches, my god, they were delicious. The $9.99 hero is massive and you could tell they were made with love.This was a great stop during our day.

I was on the road one day and spotted this place and I gave it a try. It was the best decision I have ever made. I won’t go anywhere else for cold cuts and fresh meat. The staff is wonderful and the good is delicious.

Love this place!I needed some chicken breasts and skirt steak. I was an hour from home and after a long day, the last thing I wanted to do was immerse myself in a large supermarket experience.The problem here was I knew the Country Grocer was set to close 30 minutes before I could get back into GWL. I called the store stating what my eta would be and if it was still possible for me to pick up food.His positive response was so warm and gracious! By the time I arrived, all my items were bagged and I was ready to be rung up. It was truly the greatest food shopping experience ever. So grateful to have such a great food establishment in town.Thanks again Country Grocer!

Was half way through preparing a recipe at home when I realized that the ginger root that I had at home in the refrigerator had gone bad. Called up the Country Grocery just to be sure that they had some in stock.When we arrived at the store the owner took the time to ask what we were using it for and went on to teach us the best way to store ginger. He then explained that you could grow it on your own at home and went over to select a piece that would soon sprout for us.It was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. Will absolutely be going back to support this fantastic local business!
