Excellent stop! The Matt Dog is just the perfect combo - spicy brown mustard, sauerkraut, grilled onions and peppers? What’s not to love. Reasonably priced too. Place opened in 1969 and I’m not surprised they are still around. Totally worth a stop.

Got dogs and fries, dogs weregreat but the ppl working at 1230pm on 8/26/23 arent informed on how to cook fries.first order most of them were dark brown and Crunchy, requested a new order which came out soggy and half raw.disapointing

Cannot speak for the hot dogs, but I ate a cheeseburger from here and it was sub-par. Fries lacked crispiness and I would even go as far as to call them soggy. The cook on duty was very polite and friendly. I would give this place another go to try the hot dog, which is what it is actually known for. But I strongly recommend that you get your burger and fries elsewhere. McDonald's, no joke, does both better. I think the locals have a lot of nostalgia for this place, and there are not many fast food options in Greenville. I would give it 2 stars for the food I ate, but will give their other food a chance to know for sure.

hot dogs are good, fries were ok, but the cheeseburgers the patty was so thin you could bairly taste the meat and he puts tons of onions and peppers so its like eating an onion and pepper sandwich, he charges 6 bucks for that im sorry tommy your rippingpeople off!!

The Number #1 place in this area to get a Hot dog and fresh cut fries. NY famous hot dog stand. Take a country ride along Rt.32, stop by for a hot dog pick whatever toppings you like. I highly recommend their chili on the dog and fries. Super tasty, local spot. BRING CASH. CASH ONLY ACCEPTED PAYMENT.

Stopped in and grabbed a couple hot dogs and french fries the other day. Both were OUTSTANDING! The owner happened to be there and was super friendly. I will drive from Albany just to have a couple dogs and the great french fries!!!

Looking for a local, time honored thing to do while in, or passing through Greenville NY? Get a Matt dog from Tommy's hot dog stand. Great chance to chat up locals and eat a great hot dog, chicken sandwich, or breakfast sandwich. Awesome prices and friendly staff. Grew up eating here while I should've been in school.

Went today for the first time ever , had to try with all these reviews . Yes I had to wait in line .....but come on people it’s a hot dog nothing special it’s a boiled hot dog. Give me a German snappy hot dog rather then a boiled dog in a cold roll! Can’t believe all the rave about these hot dogs no thanks .

OMG. So good. Worth your drive from anywhere. Great service and good eats at a great price. You will need to go back a few times to hit everything on the menu. We will be back.

If I could give zero, I would. Girl working was smoking a cigarette outside when I arrived. After re-entering the hot dog truck, she fails to put on gloves or wash her hands. Upon request to wash her hands, an attitude was given so I left. This is extremely unfortunate as I used to go all the time as a kid and it was my first time back in awhile.
