I needed a part for an older Troy built push mower and stoped in at Green County Equipment. I had purchased a rider mower from them a few years ago and had a great experience with them. The gentleman at the counter came out to my truck to check which part I needed, looked it up but found they did not have one in stockHe then went out and removed the needed part from one of the mowers on the lot so I could have my mower fixed right then rather than waiting for a new part to arrive.I have always had excellent service at Green County Equipment.Thanks guys!

I went here with the intentions of buying a rider mower that was in stock but ultimately decided that it was to big for my size lawn . I asked if there was a chance that I could order the size I needed and they said absolutely. It's worth noting here that no other dealership was willing to do that. They are very professional and I'm looking forward to when my mower arrives.

Recently bought a FS111r string trimmer from Greene County Power Equipment. I mow and trim 4 acres and this trimmer has more than enough power for my needs.Great tool.Staff was great, service is fantastic.Can't recommend them enough.

I stopped in with truly a less than perfect attitude my new saw with only a few mins on it was not right. and was told at least a week. I was not happy about that. i need it now and with six guys standing around I couldn't understand why someone couldn't just take a quick look and i figured if I wanted that kind of service I would of bought something from China off Amazon. of course the one guy who could look at it stepped out for lunch. anyway sensing my frustration they came out with another one and out the door in went.. well I want to express my deepest apologies to the entire staff. it's hard times for a lot of people. wearing face masks make it hard to get to know people in a new town. so when spending good money on American made stuff from local sellers and you get the same treatment as the guys from China give you or worse is frustrating... but that was not the case here.. they made good on it And shortly after I got an email with the warranty on the matching serial number... again I'm sorry and thank you to the entire staff. this review is long over due.

Great staff and service , bought a used chain saw .new log splitter, new ride on mower and new heavy duty weed whacker. I had an issue with the chain saw that was fixed in almost no time. Always have parts on stock for whatever you need for maintenance and special orders are extremly fast. "Bill and crew " are great to deal with !

Purchased a new cub xt2 here, I was told initially to call ahead before I was picking up the machine so I did and the women on the phone wanted nothing to do with me. Okay I thought maybe she was busy. She did say my mower was ready, I get there and nope nobody knew I was coming. So I have all my kids with me because I am a single parent now they are going to assemble the mower perfect I'll wait 45 minutes with 3 kids just what I want to do. I have had the mower all summer now and I regret purchasing it. I have always had Cubs but this one will be the last. It has the fuel injection engine which seems to be always starving for fuel and is underpowered. The whole mower squeaks and rides like trash I know it's a lawn mower but my old cub maybe a it a 2005 rides better. Not what I expected from a brand new machine.That's my experience hate to give a local business 3 stars.

After visiting this store several times, I bought a long arm chainsaw, which also came with a problem, it had a broken tank, and I thought they had to know about it and hid it from me, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, then I bought a snow blower for $2500, which I haven't used yet because when I bought it the snow had a crust and the machine would ride on top so I hope we get the proper snow this winter now I went to use the saw and it wouldn't start, so I brought it back, when I went to pick it up, they told me that the reason it doesn't turn on is that it doesn't have the filter, I'm starting to distrust them, they made up a story that didn't go well with me, they sold me a machine with a broken tank and no filter what else do they hide, after inspecting the machine it doesn't look like mine, (they gave  me a machine scratched dirty and very conveniently without the serial number, long story short I'm not happy with them, I need a pressure washer and I walked behind weed wacker and I'll have  to find some one else, I will never recommend or return to this place ever!

Went there with a leaking wood splitter pump. Although they were not able to make the repair, they did refer me to a specialist that could. Very professional and practiced Covid safety protocols. Good people.

A few weeks ago I decided I wanted a zero-turn mower in the 50"-54" range. Wanted a nice green and yellow one to go with my green and yellow lawn tractor. Nobody had any stock, including competing brands. Then I called Greene County Power. They told me they had several 50" zero-turns in stock. Hooked up my trailer, drove over, and 30 min later drove home with my new Cub Cadet ZT1-50. Quick, easy, everything explained, and a fine attitude from all the staff. What more can you ask for? The ZT1 is an outstanding machine. Doesn't have some of the bells and whistles of some competitive machines. No hour meter. No fuel gauge. No big deal for the average homeowner. But, after 45 yrs of working on trucks and heavy equipment I can tell you that the quality build more then makes up for a few missing features. Very rigid and robust all welded steel square tube frame. Fabricated deck. Everything is solid and everything is laid out for easy access. Oil changes are a snap and any future repairs or replacements, while probably minimal, will be easy. Plus, it does a beautiful job mowing.

bought a used cub cadet ride on last year.it went for service,the tech noticed an oil leak,was told it need a new motor they replaced it with another used motor for no charge.they are a stand up place to deal with,freindly and very helpful people.i will always recommend them.thank you again
