If I had to rate all dollar general stores, I'd go with 2-3 stars but the Greenville store is an exception. The manager there works so hard and does as much as she can, I've never seen carts full of things that need to be put away at this store like I do at almost every other dollar general. The workers are nice and most of them work really hard, there's a few people that come and go but the ones that have been there for a while really are good workers. I just think that the company itself needs work, they need to pay better wages to their workers or stop over charging people for items since they are supposed to be cheaper than other places.

One of your employees had a racist reaction when my friend and his mother walked through the door. All my friend wanted to do was use your restroom and was disgustingly discriminated against behind his back by one of your employees. This was an unprofessional and unprovoked response from one of your employee’s. One of your employees was heard by my friends mother speaking to another employee saying to “Keep an eye on them.” I expect better next time and that this issue is looked into. I will not let discrimination to the black community continue and I expect it to not be tolerated in your establishment. Do better.

One of my friends was trying to go to the bathroom in your store when racist accusations where made behind him and his mothers back. Two employees were communicating while his mother was waiting for him to get out of the bathroom and they were telling each other to keep an eye on them and that my friend and his mother might be trying to steal because of their skin color. Try to hire people who aren’t racist.

I go to this dollar general maybe once a week. But I applied for a job there and never heard back from them so I spoke to the manager about my application and she pretty much turned me down and never told me the real reason as to why she wouldn't hire me. I think it's because I'm 6 months pregnant which I don't think they can do that thats discrimination. I'd like to know the real reason...

Excellent spot for cheap brand name goods. Some items in the store are in odd spots (ex. Hot sauces can be found in 2 different aisles). I love this place regardless though, I typically stop in at least once a week.

Great value but manager had stress issues when I asked about an item that had been popular and sold out. She let me know. That store didn't have what I was looking for. We left. Bought it down the road. But nice store in general.

Basic dollar general store. Its older, could use a remodel. But the staff are super nice and helpful. They basically always have what I'm looking for when i have to stop there in a pinch. Also, they have the digital coupons and you can get great deals using that.

I don't feel it's fair for the workers and managers to have to work in this heat wave without air conditioning their air conditioning never seems to be working and is always breaking I feel corporate should get in gear they have such lovely staff here and I don't like the way they have to work in certain weather conditions such as extreme heat with only one box fan ... The manager here pours her heart and soul into this place and I feel her and her team shouldn't have to suffer because corporate seems to not care to make sure everything is update and in proper working condition!!

Its never stocked and its always dirty. The supply carts are left in the way all the time, cause the employees don't have the time to unload them and stock the shelves. This is due to lack of employees I was told by a worker there. I'd rather drive to a store that has it together then to go into a store that doesn't... Family dollar is where I will go to from now on... I'm so tired of putting my comments in and I get no where with this situation... Corporate doesn't care.. If they did things would have changed by now... I've been complaining about this for several months

great staff here!!!! plus great selection of DVDs and Blu Rays. also dollar general is the only store that i can ever find the brand and style of false eyelashes i use lol.. and they're only $2! a lot of my other friends who do make up and wear expensive ones always assume i also pay top dollar for them, when i tell them they're only $2 they're always amazed.

Nice place to run in and grab something, especially activities and snacks for the kids in the car. The only thing is the last 4 times I went in there they had boxes and carts evrywhere, And blocked off 3 isles. Instead of bringing everything out at once take it an isle at a time.

Understaffed. Dirty store with litter on property. Dollar general needs to staff their stores and pay their managers and clerks more money to keep a clean, stocked store with staff available to provide customer service.

Typical Dollar general...crowded, disorganized aisles, not much in the freezer section. They do have alcoholic beverages and a self checkout.

I went to Dollar General today prices are ok , staff is good but every lane I went down I had to back my shopping cart up to get out I think that all of the storage carts shouldn't be all out in the way so people could look and see things , but the store in Greenville is always like that they need to get a little better management

Stopped in for a few things at this Dollar General. I must've gone on an "off" day, as the store was a mess - very unorganized with items strewn around. Staff was friendly and helpful, though.

The worst store ever. Boxes stacked EVERYWHERE that it's like a maze to get through the store. Some aisles have so many boxes of freight piled up that you cant even go down them.

This morning I went in to grab a few things. I found it extremely rude when the young girl at the register was more concerned with her cell phone than taking care of me. As she was in the process of checking me out she held her phone, and was texting. Not my idea of good customer service

today they obviously have a new hire his name is Dave I go in the store all the time this man started following me complaining about a new policy that Dollar General has cursing I kept trying to walk away he kept following me I turned around and said listen you're making me really nervous and he turned around and said good you should be so I notified the store manager I notified another store manager in Greenville and I'm leaving this here you cannot threaten your customers I go in that store all the time I spend a lot of money there I was shocked and startled and scared to say the least I felt very threatened and a little bit and danger the way he was following me
