Store merchandise is a 10. Some sloppiness with merchandise thrown here and there. Though expected unfortunately.Yesterday during afternoon rush in store, for the longest time only 2 registers open. Sad as seems to be enough employees to bring to open another register.

If you love sales with clearance deals as well as clothes, this place won't be bad even if you're on a tight budget.Good selection. great prices. worth the trip and nice employees.Always a great place for bargains, this TJ Maxx has a nice selection of clothes, housewares, and gifts.

Good stock, BUT this store seems to make a habit of double ringing products at the register. Don't trust any of the cashiers, watch every single scan like a hawk. Seems to be part of their profit plan.

THE MOST RUDE STAFF. I asked for help from three workers, and nobody wanted to help me. They all pointed at another worker and said ask her. The manager ( dark skinned woman with short thin hair) is rude as hell. All i asked was to check the price of an item because another one of the items in another size was on sale. And she made such a scene about it. Then she said she didn't wanna deal in spanish like I won't understand. If you don't wanna deal work somewhere else.

Security ( black guard at that!!) guard wasn't in sight by the door until we were in store for abt 10m then he stood by the door until we were done shopping and got online.. I bought two bags, few candles, work sneakers a few small items, the cashier opens the bag and says I'm just taking out the "stuffing" so that it's flat... which was already deflated. So busy profiling us, there was a white older woman stealing! .. DISGUSTING, won't get my money again!

Bad/bazaar experience during checkout on 4/23/23. The cashier woman was having trouble processing my return and told me I got her in trouble with her manager.. when in reality she doesn’t seem fit for the job.

Terrible customer service. The older lady in the jewelry section spent 1hr on ONE customer!!! She should not be working customer service if she doesn’t know how to work with multiple people. I knew what I wanted and this customer did not. She should be fired or trained better. It wasn’t until an hour and five minutes before she called for help! The younger woman got me in and out in less than five minutes!! This is completely unacceptable service for a department store!!!

Shop and products are very nice. But staff is incredibly slooow. Waited for over 20 min at jewelry section. The worker was with another customer, a get that, but it would be nice and professional to turn to me and say "I'll be with you in a moment". No response from staff at all. I just left.At the check outs also a terrible service, 2 open for about 15 people waiting in lane. Zero effort to ease that.Where is the manager to take care of it?

I went to TJ Maxx today. Excellent customer service. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had exactly what I needed and I was in and out. I just wanted to make sure that I at least left a review because for some reason my phone wasn't able to do the survey. The employees tried to help me but it wouldn't work. They are all very kind. Thank you tjmaxx of greenvale!!! Next time we will try again with the survey.

It’s the holiday season. They close at 11pm. So around 7:30 the cashiers just decided let’s clean up what’s behind us instead of clearing the handful of people waiting to check out. Sidebar no one ahead of us was making a return. TJMAXX made Walmart’s return line look like the place I rather be!

while the store has great merchandise, the staff is awful. transactions take twice as long as necessary because the very friendly staff talk to each other nonstop in Spanish! if they just paid attention to what they were doing, waiting on lines would be shortened a great deal. the manager of this store is also not too helpful. when asked if he could clear the isle of carts so I could make my way through, he told he that this wasn't possible because that's all he would do all day long if he had to clear the carts. if the merchandise wasn't good and the locale convenient, I'd go elsewhere!!!

I love shopping here, however their management needs training. When there are 15 people or more on line with only two registers opened, they should call for backup. The customer should not be told by the male manager (who’s behind the counter tagging items) that that is all the staff he has. Shouldn’t he be working a register and perhaps tag the items when the line is shorter? Miraculously within 10 minutes he found staff to work the registers.Wouldn’t a response like “let me see what I can do” been more appropriate?Train your management better TJMaxx/Marshalls.

Often gets nice designer pieces. In my most recent visit, I saw current season Valentino bags.... clothes are very hard to rummage through..... aisles are not neat. Lines usually get very long in this location.

Line is ALWAYS very long, and I’m typically patient. Employees waking around behind registers, waiting a couple of minutes after a customer hiding behind the new Covid blockades before taking next customer. Employees do not hustle in any way. Line is always long, typically a 20-30 minute wait in line. Not worth the bargains in the dirty and poorly kept store.

Love the store, but by the time you need to pay, it's a nightmare to be ready to wait. PLEASE DO SOMETHING REGARDING THIS SITUATION. Sometimes you have your stuff available to pay, and you need to leave because you guys have five cashiers, and only one is open.

This TJ Maxx had more designer clothes then some of the boutiques in my Posh neighborhood. Definitely not in my budget but I was very impressed with the designer selection. Never actually seen anything like this before. Some of the most beautiful handbags are on display here. And if you have the money, I guess the bargains are real. Otherwise, is it clean and spacious and packed with treasures.

It takes time and patience to dig through the vast selection of constantly changing merchandise here, but there are the occasional quality finds for great prices. Come to browse instead of hunting for a specific item and you'll usually be pleasantly surprised.

Their stuff is a little less than the big department store but the product is also either defective, damaged or going out of style. Sometime a good product that is not damaged or defective can be found, but n ho t all the times.

Love this location! Close from Glen Cove where I live and close to other places such Starbucks and Bar Frites in Whitley plaza if ya wanna grab a bite after shopping. 😬
