What an awesome toy store! I was visiting family in Long Island for a few days when my aunt and I went shopping for Christmas. There was a great variety of options and all of the employees were so lovely, especially Morgan! She helped my aunt and I figure out what to get my siblings and cousins for Christmas and she was very fun to talk to. There hasn’t been a toy store in person that I’ve seen in a while like this one and I recommend to anyone in the area for sure.

Walked in looking for some puzzles for my niece. Found a great selection. Store was clean, well stocked, and the employees were helpful. Especially, Dana. Who asked helpful questions so I'd find the picture puzzle for my niece. Thanks, Dana!

Such a great place! Went to pick up some gifts with my children after not shopping there for a few years - they have a great variety of fun toys as well as educational and craft items. The young woman who helped us was very polite, helpful and loquacious.

The employee with the pink dress on Vday needs to be trained on how to treat customers. This store carries kid toys and books and the employees that I dealt with were not even friendly. I am glad that I didn’t bring my kids here with me. Although the store is nice, due to the customer service I won’t be returning .

Shopping at Funky Monkey is not just an ordinary toy store, it’s an experience. The variety of items they have is unimaginable. I could spend hours just looking at the marvelous selection of toys, crafts and personalized gifts in stock. I would like to single out Debbie, the Manager and all-around maestro responsible for the smooth running of the store. I have been working with Debbie for years. She is not only very personable, but she is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and most of all she has her finger on the pulse of what is the “hot” item of the moment. Debbie is also an amazing artist. I have personalized items from her that have been in my family for years and I intend to keep them for my children’s, children.Do not miss an opportunity to visit this very special store and its staff!!

The toy store is very cute and has a lot of selections, lovely toys. I started chatting with the lady who was wrapping a present for me and I told her I was from New Jersey and raised there and my family lives there. She said “why do they live there? I hate NJ”. I found that to be extremely rude and I was just dumbfounded. I would recommend that the store work on being more polite to people.

I recently went to the Funky Monkey and Dana helped me and my husband from beginning to end. We were worried about what to get at first and she helped us find what we were looking for and more. We will be returning!

Love this store!! The manager, Debbie, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and sooooo creative. Told her what my nephew liked and she worked her magic. Great to have employees who care and take pride. I will return for all my gifts.

Just came in a few days ago with my 18 month old. She had the greatest time picking out toys! The staff were super helpful and friendly and there were appropriate COVID protocols in place. I felt very safe shopping here and bringing in my child who cannot yet wear a mask. Shop small!

Amazing selection of toys and gifts. It is rare in today’s economy to find a store that keeps up with stocking their shelves with the latest trends and brands. It is difficult to find new items in stores these days, Funky Monkey never disappoints.

Bad attitudes, overpriced merchandise and lame selection.Oh, and do NOT buy a gift card here!! There is no expiration date on them, but they DO expire. Does the money people pay for the gift cards expire? What kind of outrageous, ripoff policy is that?Sorry, kid, no toys for you, that gift card you brought with you is expired! How do you explain that to a child that was excited about getting a stuffed animal or a puzzle?

I have to say I love this store especially that staff Debbie she was so helpful. I was looking for some fun out door activity games to keep my family and friends children safe and occupied while we enjoyed our barbecue! Debbie suggested a few out door games for all to enjoy! I’ll be back! Thanks!

Very cute little toy store. Has lots of fun toys, the kind you may not find in Toys R Us. Niche collectible items too. Great place to stop by to get a unique toy for your special youngster. Taking 1 star off because the toys could be less expensive....they have a large markup and can be found much cheaper online...but then again, they have to pay $$$$ rent - as surely rent in Wheatley Plaza must be high. Do recommend this place!

Wonderful store with a great selection of toys! Staff was incredibly helpful with assisting in finding the perfect baby shower gift. The "icing on the cake" was the beautiful and complimentary (yes!) gift wrapping!

They were soooo rude and kicked a bunch of kids out because they went to back if the stood and the employees automatically assumed that they were stealing something but you think that’s bad oh my god! The prices are outrages

I am visiting from London and went to Funkey Monkey today with my daughter. The shop has some great toys and gifts. We were definitely spoilt for choice, unfortantly for me the staff ruined my experience. I found the cashier very unhelpful and to be honest racist.

Wouldn’t recommend shopping here. They don’t take returns on opened and/or faulty product. Tons of toys but you can buy somewhere online where you can return
