Ben's is always good. Their pastrami sandwich is big and very tasty. Chicken salad platter is excellent. Platter is served with 2 large scoops of chicken salad, health salad, potato salad , tomato, hard boiled egg. You do not leave Ben's hungry. Highly recommend it. There is handicap parking in the lot. Wheelchair accessible. There is a bit of a walk from the parking lot. Very busy shopping mall. There is a stop and shop in the complex. So parking can be tight.

The worst kosher food on the planet! My corned beef was horrible! Literally made me sick to my stomach! The knish was so burnt it could have broken teeth had I not cut off the bottom of it. This is wrong to charge so much for spoiled and burnt food! Bens you need to get an inspector in there and rectify these horrible issues! Our waitress thinks her name was Margaret was very pleasant so we tipped her very well as I always do, because it's not her fault the food would make us sick!When we called to speak to Todd, he tried to tell me I did not feel sick! Imagine now he's qualified to deny how I feel too! This is truly a very bad place to eat!

Recently ordered a platter for 12 people to be delivered to son’s home in Great Neck.. The platter was delivered and to our disappointment it was unbelievably sparse. We were told that for a platter that size there would be 4 pounds of meat. We did not have the means to weigh it but it was definitely short,. As it turned out, there were only 8 of us. I had also made brisket and farfel on my own. Had I not made these extras, there certainly would not have been enough to feed 8 pretty small eaters. I was embarrassed at the paltry amount of the food on the platter. My husband spoke to someone named Todd, at the Greenvale location, who told my husband that all the meats are weighed, perhaps so but with someone’s finger on the scale. Additionally, the turkey did not appear to be cut from the bone, it looked like turkey you would buy at a supermarket deli counter. Avoid ordering from this location at all costs. You will be very disappointed and not have enough food to serve to your guests.I did in fact receive a communication from a Ben’s representative today. I was offered a $15.00 credit to my Bens card which I have refused. The communication went on to say that they do not use carved from the frame turkey on their platters, at no time when I placed my order was I told that “mystery meat full of preservatives” would be included in my platter. Surely, fresh carved is healthier than mystery meat. I just want to put it out there that this so called caterer leaves a lot to be desired and are not to be trusted. I know I sound like a crazy person but I feel outraged at being cheated by these people. Shame on you BEN’s of GREENVALEMarilyn Silverstein

I went to pick up an order there and it was my first time there. So I have no idea how things work, I asked the lady at the cashier next to the pick up stage if the order was ready, she told me it wasn't ready yet so I sat and waited about 20 minutes and decided to asked her how much longer she thinks it would take, her attitude and answer was ridiculous. She told me she doesn't know and to asked the cooks... how ridiculous is that.. then I tried telling her that was unprofessional and her answer was that I had an attitude and she wasn't having that... the only thing I could think of was childish. Never ever coming here

- One of the best chicken soups I've ever had! Great for when you're sick. You have the option to add noodles or matzo ball in the soup.- I tried the grilled chicken Caesar wrap today! It's my new favorite order and comes with pickles. I've only dined in once, and mostly get take out from them, but when you dine in, you get a bucket full of pickles! Yippee! I love their half sour pickles!!- Not five stars due to the unreasonable price of some items, but the chicken soup and wraps are great.

Strangest, single worst hamburger ever.All three meals had the taste and consistency of seared rubber.Grey, hard meat, literally unchewable -- did not look or taste like ground beef, let alone 'freshly ground kosher beef."French Fries were decent. Knish also inedible, overly seasoned, stretched with some kinda filler.Service was ok, restrooms dirty -- plus stingy soap pump spews a tiny, timed droplet, so yuh gotta visit all the faucets to wash hands.All in all, weird vibe at this Ben's location in Wheatley Plaza; not even the usual feel of a classic NY deli.

One of the last Kosher Delis on Long island. Rye bread has real caraway seeds. Pastrami not too fatty but still has flavor. Mom relied on Ben's for many a Jewish holiday. We were there for 2nd night Channukah and latkes had just right consistency and salty onion flavor. One star off for lackluster tongue Polonaise. Waitstaff attentive, art deco theme with lower East Side photos and classic quotes, "Today I am a man, Monday I return to the seventh grade."

I must say I have never seen such abhorrent behavior from management and staff at the front desk. The way they treated their customers is shameful. No customer in a service oriented business should be treated with such disdain. Really disgusting management. And that’s being nice.Absolutely Horrible people from manager to cashiers.They should be treated as such when they go out to eat themselves to see how shameful they are.All Thumbs down 👎🏼

The best thing about this place is the looks. It's nice inside, but everything else is mid. For food, we got potato pancakes, which are just potato pancakes, so nothing special. There is no way to really mess those up, and the same is true with the kinish I got. The coleslaw was watery and had no flavor, and the two types of pickles weren't great either. My main was a Reuben which had corned beef which was fine, not alot of flavor. For twenty-two bucks, it should have been better.Moving on to the service, it was complete garbage. Our server was hardly seen, and when he was here, he forgot things. I probably would not come back here. Go somewhere else if you want a Reuben, like a diner.

Over priced and the brisket sandwich was so dry I almost choked, I had to smother it in ketchup so I can at least give it some flavor. It was so dry and had no juice to speak of. The potato salad was pretty good though and it did fill me up. But I think it’s best just to go down to the Greenvale Townhouse, much much better
