Charming bar with juicy burgers, good beers on tap, and friendly bartenders. I frequently pass by this location driving on Glen Cove Rd and decided to stop in for a quick dinner. I ordered the Mexican Burger with guac, pico de gallo and pepper jack cheese and whoaaaaaa. Extremely juicy burger that was cooked to perfection coupled with great toppings. 10/10 dining experience

I had never been to Barefoot Peddler before, but had heard good things about it from my parents. My mom's sister has said that it was expensive so I was a little nervous. When I walked in, I saw a sign that said "23 & Older". My immediate reaction was "oh dang, they aren't going to let me in" and "That's strange." After about 5 minutes of standing there, a waitress told us to sit anywhere. No carding, no 'how old are you'? When our waiter arrived he once again didn't ask me my age and didn't even card me when I ordered a 7&7(but that might've been because I was with my mom). After looking at the menu, I would say that they are reasonably priced, not cheap, but reasonable. In the realm of Applebee's and Fridays. I will say some of the appetizers are a little more than I would expect, but nothing insane. Plus, I don't know how big the portions are. I got a cheeseburger which was $13. Can't go wrong there. My mom got the Thanksgiving Dinner which was also reasonable. The parking lot is very small and the bathrooms are all the way down 2 flights of stairs, so I don't recommend if you have trouble with stairs(ie: wheelchair, walker, etc). One of the only negatives is when you get the bill(not before) on the bottom of the receipt it says 'please no gratuities on credit cards'. Well, thanks for letting me know! I started to worry because I knew that I didn't have enough cash to leave an adequate tip(I like to tip around 20% unless the service is less than what I would expect). Thankfully when I got the credit card slip, it said 'cash tip preferred' where you can enter the gratuity. But overall I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would return.

Great and friendly atmosphere. They’ve reinstated happy hour and Tommy our bartender is simply the best.Great place to hang and grab a bite. Private parking lot is a huge bonus.

I love this place! I always get a burger and fries to go and it’s ready within ten mins after I call! Fries come with the burger and they let me substitute for sweet potatoe fries! Best burger around

Only a portion of our order was good, which was a surprise since we have had much better experiences here. Not sure if they changed their kitchen staff. Fries, kids pasta and wings were very good, but the fried calamari was very salty and the fish portion of the fish & chips was very lacking.

We ordered lunch for our team at Five Star Kitchens yesterday, and the food was excellent! All my team members were raving. Chicken Parm, Chicken Francese, Rigatoni alla Vodka, and Vegetables. Everything was great! We will definitely order again! Highly recommend catering or ordering take out from them during COVID.

Stopped here before driving back to Philly after driving someone from Philly to Long Island on Saturday afternoon. The food and beer were good and the bartender and one local customer I was talking to were awesome. Don't know if I will ever be back up that way but if I am I will be back.

Went with a few friends for pre show (Tilles Center) dinner. First time here and I got there before my friends and as soon as I walked in the bartender welcomed me in a very friendly way (almost felt like I was on Cheers). The beer was good. Sitting down with friends, the food was excellent. Great wings, Quesadillas, burgers, and the desserts were also excellent (the cookie with ice cream and the churros). It was the kind of good that made you kind of surprised, as my friends and I were like da*n, that's good!

they made a mistake on an order that I drove to pick up. Told me it Would be fixed, they dropped they ball never fixed it and when I called back they were unprofessional and rude. Awful. Been going there since I was little. How little the staff cares about their reputation. Never again

Came here a few weeks ago. I was served by I believe his name was Randy the bartender he was a great respectful guy that completed my orders fast. The only negative i would have of this place is that it is a little pricey. Its 8 dollars for a domestic beer on tap and 11 dollars for a mixed drink. Other than that its a great place.

I would not here again after the first flop thought I give it a try again. They sat us down waited for literally 1hr 8min after ordering and no food came out everyone else were being served but ours was a miss. After waiting and searching for our waiter the owners own nowhere to be found. We asked another waiter where he was they went looking for him, finally coming back and telling us that our order was not placed. Never came to apologize and gave our table to the other waiter who now had to serve other patrons first and finally came back to us. We asked the waiter from the beginning for some bread his response to expensive to put a basket of bread wasn't feasible for them to do that. but it's feasible for customer to wait over an hour for our food. Skip this place it's not how you treat customers. No apologies offered nothing. Thank you but not how you treat customers. Lucky it got one star for the other waiter who helped but really should have left and went elsewhere not a very pleasant experience.
