Everything prepared is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. My dining partner tasted the fresh salmon in her Asian Salmon Burger trio. The Steak Sandwich was best one in the NY Metropolitan area that I have ever had. I subbed the frites for a side salad. The Balsamic Vinaigrette made the salad. I have never tasted a better dressing.The Apple Tarte Tatin was also devine.The crowd was eclectic and casually dressed. I highly recommend Bar Frites for business or pleasure dining.

So sadly, I had to dine inside.🦋Moderately reasonable prices.🦋 Very crowded that day. Not a relaxed atmosphere or quiet ambiance. It definitely gets full. I kept getting my chair or myself bumped as staff moved in between tables. Also, when large families were leaving the place... one person even asked if i could get up so they could pass.🦋they should make more space between tables. It's not pleasant at all.🦋staff were attentive and courteous.🦋bread with oil for the table🦋we call enjoyed our cocktails. My espresso martini was perfect. I got it twice.🦋salad was good.🦋I got the salmon sliders... they were nothing special. Just salmon inside a bun. It needed sauce and more flavoring. Just had one slider...🦋tacos were alright.🦋my girlfriend's trout was delicious! I tried a piece, and it was cooked perfectly with the right sauce and all. Definitely recommend.🦋the mashed potatoes side were perfect as well. Ate the entire plate.Overall, I recommend it.Parking: Located inside shopping area.

Very cute and well decorated French cafè and bar located in a big strip mall. All of the staff were very friendly. I ordered the fried chicken, and my waiter told me it might take 25 minutes but it came out in about 15 minutes. Best fried chicken I've ever had. So juicy and crisp. French dip sandwich and pappardelle bolognese were amazing as well. 100% would come back and recommend.

This was pretty good. I went for a business lunch. I ordered hangar steak medium, and it was over. My associate ordered pasta and she said it was a bit oily.I'm only dinging them 1 star because overall we enjoyed the food and would return, so no need to overreact.The dessert and coffee was very good. The atmosphere was the best part. We felt very relaxed, the service was prompt but unobtrusive, and we were able to enjoy the setting. We went on a good day so we opted to sit outside, which I really enjoyed.Price-wise it was a tad over for what you get, but again, I think within reason. I enjoyed this and would return. I could see this potentially being a really good date spot.

I've been to Bar Frites numerous time in the last few months because the foods good and the drinks are good as well. But, after the third or fourth time going I started to realize a lot of things that were off. Does everyone know that you have to pay for them to bring bread to the table ?! Or is that just something they include on the bill hoping you don't notice. Second, my friend and I ordered virgin cocktails and paid the same price as normal cocktails ?! So $12 for seltzer, tonic, and maybe some mint leaves ?Third, this was mentioned already but after being in the restaurant the fire alarm went off and we had to wait for the firefighters to arrive for them to turn them off which took over 20 mins ? After paying a $200 bill not even a complimentary drink or comp or next time coupon for dining was given. That just shows that the manager has no idea how to appease the customer for dining (or might not even care) and most people will go but don't return second time. I will not be going back after this last experience.

Not so easy to see right off of Northern Boulevard servicing Wheatley and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Great for Brassiere Food like Steak Frites, escargot, and desserts. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.

I don’t understand the great reviews. Went there for a quick dinner before seeing a show at the Tilles Ctr. Ordered a cheeseburger, medium rare. It arrives at my table looking delicious. I assemble the fixings, add the katsup and cut my burger in half. It was extremely RAW! Inside was red, soft and cold. I didn’t even attempt to taste it. Called waiter over. He apologized and quickly took it back. Original burger (still cut in half) comes back out with top bun replaced but bottom half is ORIGINAL bottom half. Only now it is soggy from the raw blood that dripped out all over on it. The cheese is now non existent. The burger is totally black. Not in a charred way. They obviously microwaved it for waaaay too long. Took one small taste. It was disgusting. I would not feed it to my dog. Waiter came over. Took one look at it and offered to have another one made for me. As we had a show to attend, I said no. We were not charged for it. I left there pretty disappointed. Having not eaten at all. The fries came out cold as well. My husband was not thrilled with his chicken sandwich but at least it was edible. Waiter seemed like a nice guy. Stated next time we come back he will give me a free burger. I will never go back.

The Place was nice and cozy. A bit crowded but that's ok good for the business. Our server was very good and polite. The food was good. The only thing that soured our experience was when our picture was being kindly taken by our server another staff was in our background and didn't even try to get out of the frame and even being comical about it. So our only proof of a good experience was actually not a good one.

It is always a delicious visit to Bar Frites. The menu has a French flair, including a decadent French Onion, selection of quiches, crepes, and sandwiches. Additionally, they have salads, personal pizzas, burgers, and tempting entrees. Outdoor dining is spacious and heated. Inside, the vibe is cozy European. The staff here is attentive and polite

The food was good as usual. The issue today was the service. We were here for lunch sitting outside on a great day. The appetizers came quickly but then we sat and sat. Finally someone came over and said it would be out shortly and we sat some more. No explanation or offer of a free coffee or something. Very poorly done.

Definitely a Roslyn hot spot. Perfect for a lunch meet-up and a casual, yet classy meal with friends and family. Ive been coming here frequently for years. I honestly just discovered their brunch and have been missing out. Their shortrib hash is delicious and nicely presented in an iron skillet.I really enjoy their dining room and bar. It does get loud on the weekend evenings. Their staff consciously remembers you and makes you feel welcome.One of the very few bars that sells my favorite beer, Duvel. Very good - I highly recommend partaking in a glass.However, I do miss their Duck Confit. I hope they add that back to the menu soon!

Went yesterday for brunch . Service was poor. My food was cold. No one came over to ask how things were . When we did complainNon one came over to apologize. But then did take off the one item which was cold. Had to ask for refill of coffee 3 different times and then when I did get the coffee it was the bottom of the pot and was not hot.
