First time here since S&S at little neck went out of business. North Shore Farms had a great variety of foods, the deli station salads and the fruit looked really fresh, lots of different desserts and soups, and also the variety of cheeses, I’ll be back 😊

Good selection of groceries from fresh produce, meat to read-to-eat meals. Produce is reasonably priced (for New York). I was impressed by the massive cheese selection and this alone is worth a return visit. Parking is easy at the lot. Nearby residential area does not have sidewalk.

This supermarket has quite a selection of quality meats that are over and above the average supermarket chain stores. The deli is exquisite, again better than your average deli. The produce is fresh and green. Needless to say the market was crowded with many patrons. They should consider expanding since they serve many quality products and meats and produce. Still prefer to shop here for meat items which are better than the competition.

This was my go to grab and go super market for ready made meals and cut fruit however 2 days ago (10/18) with melon expiring 10/21 was sour, pineapple expiring 10/19 was also sour and foul smelling and the chicken salad caused GI problems. I kindly ask the management to please revise the quality control of perishables. I think I will take a break from this supermarket for awhile.

Nice selection, but pricey, unless it's on sale. They used to have good sales every week, now they are not as good as they used to be.Watch out when you pay at the cashier though, not everything always scans as advertised. I had it happen to me on multiple occasions and if you don't catch it before you pay you can't do much about it later.Update: prices have soared, quality went down further and now they even charge you for paper bags.

Love this place, but I do miss AJ. He always greeted each customer. Management wouldn’t tell me where he went, although one of the workers confided in me that he went to work at a market in Brooklyn. Good luck to you AJ!As for North Shore Farms, I do come here a lot because it’s so close to my home. Plus, their produce is fresh and the workers are helpful (except the guy in the cheese dept who has given me an attitude when I had previously asked him a question). I also love their deli dept. There are so many delicious things to purchase when I don’t want to cook. Yes, their prices have increased, but that has been the case everywhere.

This is the 2nd time I got molded bread from this place, my daughter ate a piece and noticed the mold inside the bread, the owner knows they are selling the bad bread, give me the money back right the way, beware… even the expiration date is not there yet, the bread is still bad. I’ll never go there again.

I always liked this store and have been a regular since the day they opened…aesthetically pleasing, great fresh foods, really good sale prices, and I don’t find their non-sale prices to be much higher than the large chains. Now, I LOVE this store because of the kindness of one of their personnel, Hugo.Long story…a very special jade pendant that I received from my late mother and father-in-law on my wedding day 35 years ago slipped in the grate of the meat refrigerator and snapped off of the chain, slipping inside the refrigeration unit. I never ever take this necklace off, it is my “ lucky jade”. I was distraught. It happened in the evening and no one was able to help me because this very expensive refrigeration equipment would have to be emptied and taken apart to try and find my pendant. I told friends and family my sad story, and the consensus was I will need to find a new lucky charm. I was so so sad.The next morning at 7am I went back to Great Neck North Shore Farms, and I told Hugo what happened. He asked what color the pendant was and where the pendant fell in. Then he and the meat department staff started removing all the poultry that they had just stocked and he said to call him in 3 hours.After 3 long hours I called Hugo and he said “I got it”. I don’t think Hugo knows how special his actions were to me, or that I started sobbing uncontrollably from happiness when I hung up the phone. I tried to articulate my gratitude when I went back to pick up my pendant, but I’m not sure if I communicated it well enough. I am also fairly certain that if this happened at any other store, I would not have gotten my lucky jade back. I tried offer Hugo some money to pay for a nice meal, but he said “we’re good “, and declined. Hugo seems to be a man of few words, but his actions tell me he is a very kind and decent human.Thank you Hugo!I will be a loyal forever customer because of you!

Great store, everything you need for breakfast lunch and dinner. For your baking farm eggs are excellent. The bakery is very well stuffed with all kinds of breads and rolls. Meat section a little expensive. There is also sea food, cheese, ready made food and many other products.

Great place to shop for above average regular supermarket fare. Great deli, great prepared food section, fresh fruits and vegetables are really good if you can't get to the farmers markets because of distance and time. Their staff are very polite and knowledgeable. Good butcher and seafood departments. They have Sail away cold brew coffee which is a plus. Always packed which is a great sign of quality.

I give them 2 stars because their customer service is so horrible. Food and produce selections are good. Cheese selections are very good. Nice that they offer cheese samples in the afternoon.On the other hand, their manager should be fired and replaced. The hand baskets are kept outside and always filthy and dirty. I mentioned this to the manger on several occasions and he said they are kept outside so they get dirty. That's pretty lame. How about keeping them inside and having wet wipes available like every other store does. I told him that his workers needed to hose them down every day and he just shrugged his shoulders. Have never seen a smile from any worker there. The Deli guys are rude, the cashiers are rude & now that the staff is 90% Latino, they all talk to each other in Spanish and ignore the customers. Never once did I get a hello or greeting from ANY employee there. The all have attitudes there, from the produce guys, to the deli guys, to the cashiers to the manager.I rarely shop there anymore because they just don't care about their customers, so why give these rude people my money. The managers need to be replaced with real professionals.You can get the same food, better quality, from Iavarone Foods and Fairway, with MUCH better service.

I am taking back the bad review I gave North Shore in Great NeckSerious they are wonderful!I placed an order today then realized I failed to remove 3 items..they were so accommodating removed them over the phone then added what I forgot to order!NO PROBLEMI will without a doubt continue to order from North ShoreThank youPLUS the delivery comes in REUSABLE BAHS!

Good market filled with so many treats. Deli counter always busy, but haven't tried it. Cooked chicken at $4.99 can't be beat. Usually good prices on produce. Ladies, bring a sweater - kinda chilly.

Prices are good, they always have varieties of fresh produce and organic produce. Breads are baked on premises, good variety of beef poultry, the deli counter is always busy if you are in a rush they always have grab and go salads, pasta dishes, rice dishes as well as assembled heros.

Love the produce. Conveniently located. Deli department is loaded with temptations. Huge cheese selections. Sketchy store layout difficult to navigate 2 carts in an aisle. I've had a very bad experience with the fish department. It looks as if it's not befitting this store with a filthy Tupperware laying on top of it's counter, what's that about🤔 The butcher is helpful but not as good as the Port Washington butcher. The store needs a facelift, but I can get past that because of it's convenience for me ...

Great store. Fantastic fruits, vegetables and meat with a custom butcher. Their deli counter can't be beat. 5 stars is not enough. Only problem is limited parking.

This is a shout out for one of the workers who helped me out while frantically searching for a specific type of gluten free bread that I was trying to get for my neighbor's kid. I never eat gluten free products so I have no idea where to even start. The worker saw me looking confused and staring at the sea of bread products so he came over and helped me search. I didn't get what I needed but I want to be sure to thank him for that. Too bad I didn't get his name... Skinny guy, spiky hair, dark skinned dude. Thank you!

North Shore farms is the best place to get some fresh bread. Ciabatta, Toscana, walnut& cranberry are some of my family's favorites. Another strong feature of the store is the amazing variety of cheeses. Even a very picky cheese lover will be able to find some special cheese in this store. Some days the store has containers with small cubes of different cheese types you can taste before buying. The only problem the store has is that sometimes they run out of the items advertised on the special 3-day sale. E.g., today sale priced raspberry and cauliflower were not available. :(

Avoid their pre-prepped food! At least a half-dozen times, my mother has brought home soups, poultry and spaghetti dishes only to discover they were rotten immediately upon opening. Usually, she brings back the rotten food to the store and shows it to the employees and they refund her money, but this shouldn't happen. I don't know if North Shore isn't storing their food at the right temperature or they're knowingly selling past-expired food. In any case, if it comes in a tupperware, avoid it like the plague...or you might ACTUALLY get the plague. Seriously contemplating reporting these guys to the Health Department.

It's a very small supermarket. It does have a variety of great freshly prepared food, salads and sandwiches. Also fresh produce and bakery. Seafood department needs improvement. Not much variety and service is also lacking.

North Shore Farms has good produce and extensive cheese selection Prime Meats and good seafood. However it's a small store with narrow aisles. Well worth the trip
