Very clean store conveniently located within the Hmart Plaza where they sell other household goods and fresh food options. They do change stock in Hmart but they are organized and workers are nice. Sometimes they have samples as well. Prices are decent overall although sometimes the produce can be on the pricier side - I usually stick with what is on sale. Frozen bun selection can be limited but maybe due to how large their freezer spaces are. Dry goods have a good assortment, especially sauces and typical ingredients for Asian cuisine. Butcher area is very clean as well. They also open later than some other grocery stores in the area. I highly recommend. Plenty of parking.

I bought pork single rib belly 6mm this afternoon, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon opening the packaging, I found that while the first layer seemed promising, the deeper I delved, the more disappointed I became. The second layer was predominantly fat, leaving me with a fraction of the meat I had anticipated.After trimming away the excessive fat, I weighed it because it was too much. The fat amounted to a third of the weight stated on the packaging. This discrepancy between advertised and actual product content is unacceptable and left me feeling misled and dissatisfied with my purchase.Overall, my experience with this product from the store was disappointing, and I would caution others to be wary of similar inconsistencies.

Compared with others, it is more expensive. There is no need to waste time. Any Chinese supermarket is neat and clean, except for this one, which depends on the expiration dates of the specialty products.

Lot of variety and decent prices. Always clean and well organized. Good mix of American produce and Asian products. Aisles are easy to decipher and it's a pretty small space but it packs a lot. No pry if your kids go to another aisle they will easily find you again. The quality is good for the meat. This is a good place.

Great selection with extremely courteous staff. I feel like the cashiers really care about me and my family whenever I shop here. Their parking lot is spacious and I've never had trouble finding parking.

I can say as a non-Korean person I have never had an issue with the customer service and I've patronized this HMart for multiple years. I have never felt uncomfortable shopping here. I would recommend and I come to the store with other people and never had a problem.

This is a very good grocery store in my opinion. They offer a lot of fresh produce and a lot of items. The cashiers are also friendly and isn't rude. Overall, I would rate 5. It isn't very crowded too making this a good experience.

For the few recent trips I was there, the experience wasn’t great. Either they don’t know where the item on the flyer was stocked at or the flyer and the store price was different. Not to mention, the cashiers are not friendly, refused to explain and impatience.

When you go to any supermarket to buy things, it is best to check the expiration time. I went there on Monday 3/27/2023. Today I took a pack of snacks that I bought that day, and it has expired(Mar052023). I don't want to waste my time going to the store to return it because of this pack of snacks. Here is a reminder.

A few days ago I went to the restaurant on the second floor inside Plaza for lunch.I asked for $ 15 for an eel rice as shown on the menu, and she gave me a fried onion in the photo. I asked the waitress if the dish was correct and she answered yes. But there is a big difference between the two.I paid $ 15 for a plate of fried onions. ！！I will never patronize again and will tell others. This is a liar restaurant.

Don't come to those place if you are not Korean. The cashiers here are only serving Korean. They start their bias attitude if you don't speak Korean. What’s wrong when I lost a H mart card and requested a replacement? The lady cashier pissed at me out of nothing, I really don’t know why. Not just that, she even asked the guy at the customer service not to help me and continue to give me her attitude look. Hey I here to give you business, should I deserve this? Spending money to buy I’ll treating! Do not come here to shop, you will be disappointed.

I had a positive shopping experience here. Employees were friendly to me. Great selection of ingredients and not overpriced. They also sell Konjac jelly. And their stationary shop Artbox (across the plaza) has an extensive Ginseng collection.

-2023/08 Saturday visit review-YES! Shorter lines than Bayside or Flushing branches! Great Neck branch was well stocked, with clean aisles and friendly staff. FYI - THERE'S A SPECIAL SALE at the Great Neck Hmart until 8/17/23 for certain items with Hmart smart card (free Hmart point card). Worth the visit.-OG review-The line was long (which was fine) but the cashier #1 had the bulk of the customers because no one was directing customers down the line (and the other lines weren't calling for next customers). There should be a better system (maybe something USPS has that lights up when cashier is available for next customer), especially since the Hmart is in the smaller size and can't afford clogged aisles =)!COVID is here to stay, so I think a better system for check out would be helpful. I really wish they would carry Thai basil. Being the only Asian supermarket in this area it’d be very helpful and keep the businesses with them if they carried more Asian groceries such as Thai basil so that I won’t have to go somewhere else and thus do my food shopping somewhere else. They also don’t have the same large plate of mixed sushi selections that other Hmart locations gets.

This sales tag, though. Reg. 1.99 Coconut on sale for 1.99. lol...I've been to a fair number of H Marts, and as far as H Mart standard goes in NY, this seemed average. Hartsdale H Mart and Union H Mart are my favorites. 24 H Mart in Northern is the worst (fruit flies laying eggs on fruits and all).This place is okay. Not that different from Bayside H Mart. Both are average H Marts.

Update #2 (1/31/2022):Thank you for always being a safe place to shop.Update (March 2019):H-Mart's exterior looks so much more welcoming now. I no longer wonder if the place is closed!The produce is still fantastic, price-wise and size!The cashiers are still hardworkers and friendly. Always glad to shop here.Original review:The price and size of the produce is fantastic. The store is always clean and the products are always organized.My only complaint--after coming here since this location opened--is that the outside of the store looks worn down. I was actually worried that this location had closed until I saw that the shopping carts still neatly aligned outdoors.Please make H-Mart look more cheery! A good store with hard workers deserves a good outdoor presentation!My shopping experience here has always been pleasant.

The staff working at the seafood section on 6/30/2022 at around 1pm was full of attitude. I could not even ask a question before getting an unpleasant and rude response because “I should see that he was busy” (come on, everyone is busy). I then had to defend myself that’s when he switched attitude. If you aren’t able to attend to a customer (especially it’s just a question in my case), simply politely ask the customer to wait for a moment. I understand some customers can be pushy and rude but I did not deserve the attitude. Be nice.

The sweet and sour tofu that I have obtained today was not up to quality value. I don't know if this is a bad batch or if it was made to be this way but the tofu was hard to consume. Not only was the texture difficult to chew (tasted as if you're chewing plastic) but it was SPICY. My tolerance for spicy food is not that bad. I was under the notion that it was sweet and sour, not spicy to the point that it overwhelmed the other flavors it meant to have. This was given 2 stars because of adequate parking available and for the other foods that are just as tasty. Just not this one.

I like a lot of the products here, seems fresh and clean. It is pricey, but my annoyance is with the workers specifically one guy at the fish section. I got red snapper fillets, there were only 4 pieces. The guy told me that the fish had been frozen, I didn't think much of it. Then he just went ahead and took 2 pieces that were already packaged. When he weighed it I noticed that it was ice solid, and I told him "I'm cooking it today, so can I please have the other two pieces" (that weren't already packaged). He gives me a bad attitude and insists that the frozen fish will be fine. I don't like to pick up fights so after asking a few times, I said "ok."1) I freeze fish and meats all the time, but I went to the store to get something fresh to cook minutes after purchasing. And2) I'm the customer, so I decide what I want. Him, the worker, should be polite and give me what I ask for.

Make sure you check the prices on shelf and again at cash register they are ripping people off at the register with higher prices. I've had to go back with the cashier 3 times and show her the posted price being irregular with the charged price. Very rude and disrespectful, this calls for consumer agency to investigate them!

The Asian supermarket that I can count on. Have a varieties of products (mainly from Korea). The store is clean and everything is fresh there. They have a membership program that you can apply for and use it to earn the point everytime when you go shopping. The free parking lot is available onsiteThe H-Mart plaza (opposite building) has a lot of Asian and electronics stuff selling on the basement level. The second floor has a good court and table available.

Today I bought a pint of milk. Expires 11/27/21But I drank it and it was spoiled. Thank goodness I tried it before giving it to my daughter. It was originally meant for my 2yr old. The egg they sell is also bad eggs. This was many years ago so I never buy eggs from them again
