They saved my baby, Greyās life when I found him sick and severely injured back in early 2018. (If they read this, they might remember him initially being named āPoeā) Iāll never forget them for all their hard work. My little grungy feral boy that was on the edge of death in the middle of Winter is now this happy, mushy, loving kitty and Iām so grateful they were able to help him get a fighting chance for his life. Iāve taken all my other cats there as well, and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that asks. THANK YOU, GNAH! Love Silvio + Grey.

Sadly, I have had too many experiences with animal hospitals, and this is the only facility that left me with a comforting feeling after they treated my dog. Everyone is warm and caring, and the medical care is the best! I can not thank Dr. Andrea Kuperschmid, the surgeons, and the entire staff enough. Thank you for the care and treatment that you gave to my dog, Adonis (Donny the Chiweenie) This is the facility you want to bring your pet to, I wish I found them years ago!

Amazing place. I brought my cavapoo puppy Butters here and Dr. Rind did an immaculate job. He trimmed Buttersā nails and fur effortlessly with such precision. The food and medication he recommended for my puppy was amazing, and I can tell he is very skillful and experienced. During Buttersā examination, he did everything he could to make sure Butters was comfortable and relaxed. Thanks to Dr. Rindās knowledge and experience in his field, Butters is growing to be a happy, healthy cavapoo.

My 7 month old Shihtzu was ill with digestive and gastro problems. Got an appt for the same day and saw Dr Wohl. She's is such a pleasure and took care of us. She didn't perform any unnecessary and expensive tests just script diet, injection and some pills. I have great confidence in Dr Wohl.

Great Neck, located on the North Shore of Long Island in New York, has a rich and fascinating history that stretches back centuries. From its Native American origins to its growth as a suburban community, Great Neck has evolved into a vibrant and diverse area renowned for its cultural heritage, scenic beauty, and close proximity to New York City. Let's delve into the history of Great Neck. Before European colonization, the Matinecock tribe of Native Americans inhabited the area that encompasses present-day Great Neck. They lived along the shores and utilized the natural resources provided by the nearby waterways. In the 17th century, European settlers, primarily Dutch and English, began to establish settlements in the region. The area was initially referred to as Madnan's Neck, named after Madnan's Neck peninsula, which extends into Long Island Sound. The settlers engaged in farming, fishing, and trade, taking advantage of the area's favorable geographic location.During the American Revolutionary War, Great Neck played a significant role. The British occupied Long Island, including Great Neck, for most of the war. In August 1776, the famous Battle of Long Island was fought nearby in present-day Brooklyn and Queens, impacting the local population. In the 19th century, Great Neck experienced significant growth and development. The arrival of the railroad in 1866, connecting the area to New York City, transformed Great Neck into a commuter suburb. This accessibility attracted affluent New Yorkers, who built grand estates and summer residences in the area.Great Neck became part of the renowned "Gold Coast" during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Wealthy industrialists, such as William K. Vanderbilt and F.W. Woolworth, constructed opulent mansions along the North Shore. These palatial estates showcased the area's natural beauty and served as symbols of the era's prosperity. As the 20th century progressed, Great Neck continued to grow as a suburban community. Residential neighborhoods and infrastructure expanded, accommodating the increasing population. The construction of schools, parks, and community facilities further enhanced the quality of life for residents.Great Neck boasts a vibrant cultural heritage and has been home to several notable figures. The area has fostered the growth of art and literature, with famous residents including F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ring Lardner, and Edna St. Vincent Millay. The Great Neck Arts Center and the Great Neck Library serve as hubs for artistic and cultural activities.Great Neck is celebrated for its diverse population and welcoming community. Over the years, it has attracted individuals from various cultural backgrounds, including Jewish, Korean, Iranian, and Chinese communities. The diverse range of restaurants, shops, and cultural events reflects the multicultural fabric of Great Neck.Today, Great Neck continues to thrive as an affluent and dynamic community. Its proximity to New York City, excellent schools, recreational opportunities, and cultural offerings make it an attractive place to live. The rich history and vibrant present of Great Neck make it a unique and cherished part of Long Island's heritage.

Dr Rind is the best Vet. I am a second generation customer of Doctor Rind. When I was a kid we brought or family dog & 3 cats here. My first dog as an adult was a patient here. When I got married my wife's 2 dogs were taken here. I have sinced moved about 40 minutes east and travel here after trying many local vets in my area.Doctor Rind saved my dogs life after a misdiagnosis at my local vet that I use for limited purposes (nail clippings mainly for convenience). He caught a cancerous tumor on my dog's paw and was able to remove it surgically saving my dogs life and me thousands of dollars. He has worked with Cornell University with my other dog to save his life as well. I can't thank him enough.Ken

Great Neck Animal Hospital has once again proven what an amazing practice it is. We have been using them for the 25+years we've been dog owners. I have always been able to make appointments easily whether last minute or scheduled. From the reception staff, Vet Techs to the Veterinarians - everyone is welcoming, warm, compassionate and more than anything so very knowledgeable. They explain everything, answer all concerns and questions clearly. Our otherwise healthy 11 year Wheaton suddenly wasn't well. After quick blood tests, and x-rays - we decided to go through with surgery. It was very frightening for us. The whole staff and overnight Vet techs were amazing. They kept us informed throughout with everything in the most compassionate ways. Everything worked out perfectly and we have our "puppy " back, old personality and all. We can't thank Dr. Rind, Dr. Wohl and the overnight Vet techs -Carlos and Mac -enough! I kept thinking I wish I could feel this way with dealing with some Drs. and staff that treat humans. My family and I have been using the Great Neck Animal Hospital for many years. Many of our pets have been treated by their competent and caring staff. I highly recommend this group to anyone who loves their pet and wants the best of care. The front staff and techs are just as wonderful as the docs!

I love Dr Rind, he is a compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian. All the front office staff and vet techs at GNAH are wonderful, also. I trust them and am confident that my cats get the best care possible... The only criticism I have of this place is the prices. The fees here are almost double what I paid at my old vet in Queens. I know things are more expensive in Great Neck, but it still comes as a shock when I have to pay the bill. Still - living in this area, where there are at least 3 or 4 other choices nearby, GN Animal Hospital is my #1 choice.

If you care about your puppy I advise you to NOT go to this hospital. This is my first puppy and I wanted a veterinarian that was going to care and diagnosis my puppy accurately. The vet and staff do not bother to follow up on vaccine schedule as well do not bother to check previous records of what has already been given. They also do not both to give helpful advice of any post-care treatments. The veterinarian and staff are also not consistent with what is going on with our puppy and always gives us different treatments plans. My puppy also got a vaccine from Great Neck Hospital and they administrated the shot horribly which lead our puppy to have a very swollen body as well as blood surrounding the shot area. When called to ask what happened they were very rude and says this is "NORMAL" which is NOT!He received shots from other vets before and was never this swollen or bloody before. After this incident I changed my vet and found out that all the vaccines that Great Neck Hospital administered was over the due date of the correct vaccine schedule. It caused my puppy to redo the vaccines AGAIN which wasted our time, money and caused ALOT OF PAIN for our puppy! They only care about getting your money and not your actual pet. The staff do not provide and helpful advice or bother to follow up with you. Please read my review as well as other negative review on here they are 100% ACCURATE! DO NOT COME TO THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU LOVE YOUR PUPPYY!!

Just got a new kitten and wanted someplace near our home and came here. Worst call ever! Brought in a stool sample and "the results fell thru the cracks" was her exact words when my kitten had worms the whole time. I just thought he was being a picky eater or something and then he vomited worms. They don't care about your pets and keep recommending testing when your cat having it is like 5%. I had dr.rind and dr.kuperschmid and was very disappointing with the visits. It's now 5 months in and my cat still has worms the medication they prescribed did not work so I am bringing him to a different vet. I called about several times for the neutering process and every time they gave me a different price range. It's sad that this can happen and now my cat is still uncomfortable. I recommend you go someplace else.

Dr. Rind was excellent. The front office not so much, we were billed for an extraction that didn't take place. We questioned the charge and found out no extraction took place. A credit was issued with no apology. There should be a better attitude with the support staff.

I warn all of you to never board your dog at this place. Me and my family had a 5 year old Golden Retriever and granted he had some medical problems, but we went on vacation for 6 days and when we dropped him off at the Great Neck Animal Hospital he was a happy dog and completely fine. We got back from vacation went to pick him up and he could not even stand up or walk. My oldest brother had to pick him up into the trunk and they kept insisting he was fine. We tried to let him ride it out a day at home but he couldn't move and we took him back to the Great Neck Animal Hospital trying to get an explanation of what happened to him while he was in their care while we were gone and for them to try and treat him. They had no explanation, a few hours later his lungs filled up with fluid and he died. Our family dog, golden retriever, at 5 years old, dropped him off in their care and we essentially came home and he was dying and then past away because of something that happened their. I will never forget this nor will I ever step foot in that place ever again. I urge you all to not go there because you have no clue how they treat the pets behind the scenes and they also had no explanation for how it happened and me and my family still can't believe what happened and will always hold them accountable for pretty much killing Duke our 5 year old Golden Retriever. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

Dr. Tell is an excellent veterinarian! He treats all of my cats, including a large feral guy who gets in frequent fights. Dr. Rind is also a well-informed vet. If it is important, they will see your pet immediately.

Vets are nice and caring. They take their time with you to explain and answer questions. Staff is friendly & helpful. They do grooming & boarding on the premises. I get my dog's special food there and all his meds. Prices are reasonable not ridiculously expensive.
