The only thing I wish to say about this market is that during the last few yrs because of convenience. I purchased various meats and poultry. I always check.the expiration date. Unfortunately the meat I buy has gone bad in half my purchases. This . As I said. Is always before the expiration date. I don't think the refrigerator is cold enough.

A lot of the items here are expired. I’ve thrown away a good handful of items from here because I noticed too late. Tried to exchange an item once and the store clerk gave a no thought response of “there’s nothing I can do about it.”I’d say a good start is to clear out expired items so customers are not in the position of getting gypped.

If you want a quick shopping trip this is the place in Great Neck to go to. Hardly any lines. Prices are good. Selection is somewhat limited but to be honest for the average shopper it's fine. The produce is fresh and parking is plenty. The store looks a little dated but they recently put in new refrigerators which look really nice.

It's close, it's open, it's got the basic stuff you'll need. It's not got a particularly large array of stuff, it's kinda old and cramped, the deli is nice, staff are very friendly, and it has a wide selection of kosher stuff if you're into that. It's never my first choice but I don't regret going there if I end up there.

It's nice but just seems like no maintenance is done to it.. you need to remodel it from the inside out. And I bet you guys would be very busy

Been going here for 10 years... Nice little quick shop spot... Not too crowded, the price is right and employees are like old friends but... they are the kind of people that minds their own business and if you don't greet them u might think they are unfriendly. They are just busy doing their work.Produce only 2stars.

Fruit is usually fresh and a nice selection. It looks warn down and old, but I always walk away happy with my purchase. Only a couple of times, I found something old and rotting, but its very rare in my 20 years shopping there.

First time shop at this market and I will never go back again! First, there was no line in front of this cashier and she gave attitude like I cut the line or something, then i go behind a man who was far away standing on the other cashier line, ok fine, then when it is my turn, as I was approaching her then she stopped me again to wait till this guy left, alright, I understand the social distance and I was more than 6feet apart from this guy, ok fine. Then when I almost finish packing stuff to the cart, a lady is approached to this cashier before I left and she was literally right next to my wife and this cashier say nothing...and yes I am the only Asian in that market !!!! Feeling total u comfortable and will never go back to this place again..

Great Neck's one and only Associated supermarket. A good supermarket for great neck. Good customer service. Good sales items. They have specialty items like basmati rice, foreign spices, and the famous Ahmad tea. I recommend this supermarket. Very convenient if you live in great neck.

I have been going to this supermarket for over 20 years. I started going there because it was closest to where I lived at the time. Yes it does remind me of the smaller stores from years ago, like Bohack's and A&P. The staff knows you and you know them. I find them very helpful and accommodating, always offering to bring my groceries to my car, as well as them having a delivery service, for a very nominal fee, you can either call in your order, and they will deliver it, or you can go to the store and shop yourself, and they will also deliver your purchase for you. Nominal fee for delivering, tip not included. They are the only original family owned supermarket in Great Neck still thriving, while all the other big named stores have gone in and out of business many times.

Associated is an older, not well decorated supermarket but they have one of the best deli counters I have ever been to. I go out of my way to get their chopped liver when in great neck. Best kept deli counter secret

This grocery store is the worst. Recently I bought a bottle of salad dressing, got it home and found it's expiration date is from last summer.I only rely on it in when there's no time to get to a real grocer. Just needed tonic water and a lime tonight. Limes are on sale so I thought it was a win. Got home and it's the Worst... Lime... Ever.

This is the WORST supermarket I have ever been too. It’s unfortunate that it is walking distance to where I live, because I would never go there otherwise. The staff is extremely rude and they will literally kick you out of the store because they want to close. This occurs BEFORE the actual time that they are supposed to close. Avoid this supermarket at all costs.

High prices, rude staff and often products very close to their expiration date. I have shopped here several times and the experience is always the same. They have a limited number of products on sale and you will often find products that are almost expired.

Stay away from the freezer section.unless you have a thing for Ice creams that have been under many cycles of liquidation and solidification.This store is designed in away to stimulate how you would feel in a 3rd world country.

Shabby, grimy down-market supermarket in an upscale neighborhood. Quick checkout, low prices, decent selection, lots of ethnic foods, large and spacious. But fix those floors!

It exists just because of lack of other options in the area. Otherwise an overpriced, dirty market with rude, unhelpful staff (always understaffed) can't last in any other area.

Probably the shabbiest grocery store around, but you can't beat the convenience of the location and the wide open parking lot. Selection of veggies and deli items a cut above the rest of this old store. Items not well marked for pricing ( who needs to know what you will be paying?) They have a separate kosher/ Middle Eastern section.

This would be a great place to shoot a horror movie, it looks like it’s already been through a nuclear war (inside and out) to be honest I hate shopping here I always come back with bugs in my produce I don’t recommend shopping here period

This is where I go when I'm in a rush. I can't say I love the prices or the overall atmosphere or the freshness of the ingredients, but it's a supermarket and for a quick bottle of mustard — is perfect.
