My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Whitney’s over Amazon. We mistakenly ordered the wrong size arrows, and Amazon wouldn’t let me return them through the normal Amazon return process. So I messaged Whitney’s and spoke with a very nice woman named Tina. Not only did she work with me to return, but she also helped me exchange for the size I needed and refunded the difference. All of this was done in an incredibly timely manner, and they were so kind and helpful through the whole process. I purchased two compound bows from Whitney's, through Amazon, as gifts for Christmas. Before I received them, I realized that I had paid $150 per bow more than my local Cabela's and basically everywhere else online. I contacted Whitney's to ask if they price matched and was told by the owner that if I kept the bows, instead of returning them, I would receive a $120 store credit. I thought this was an acceptable compromise, especially after he told me about how much of their profits Amazon takes and I wanted to be understanding and try to support small business. I told the owner that I needed to buy arrows and asked if he would simply pick out some for me and send them to me and I would accept this as the end of the transaction. He seemed happy with this and took the measurements of the owners of the bows and told me he would send me two dozen. I waited and they never showed up. I called the owner and enquired as to if he had sent them. He said he couldn't remember if he had or not but stated that he did remember the situation. He told me, again, that he would send me arrows. Again I waited and again nothing showed up. At this point I can see that my business meant nothing to the owner and I should have returned the order and saved $300 on my purchase. I am really disappointed and because of this transaction I will never buy from Whitney's again.

The arrows I received were not the right length for me but Chad went out of his way to assess my needs and replace the arrows with the correct length. I can't tell you how appreciative I am of the customer service at Whitney's. I was in a rush and trying to order my daughter a specific bow and color for Christmas. I couldn't find it anywhere. I thought that I had found it at Whitney's, but in a rush, I ordered it left-handed (I later found out that it was all that was available). I discovered this when I got the confirmation and shipping notice. I phoned the store as soon as I could, which was in the morning before their store hours were listed as being open. Somebody answered and listened to my problem. He found my order packed and heading out for shipment. He checked the store inventory for the bow that I needed, even though the website stated that they didn't have it right-handed. He confirmed that it was out of stock. The store did have the upgraded bow that I was looking for, and in the color that I wanted. He generously offered me the upgraded bow. I live on the other side of the country, but I'll be shopping with Whitney's Hunting Supply and Taxidermy whenever possible.

My package was shipped on December 4 and was not tracked for 3 weeks by USPS. I contacted WHS about a refund or what to do and they asked me very kindly to wait so they could go through the proper channels. It showed up Christmas Eve (Christmas miracle!). It was weeks late, but that was not WHS fault. When I reached out they responded immediately, sent the package immediately, and were very kind. The delay of the package was not at all their fault, but they addressed it with kindness. Highly recommend - prompt and very responsive!

I bought some new black eagle spartan arrows from these guys and first shot with the arrow into a target it shattered. A week later the inserts started coming out. I talked to them and they said they would send me a new arrow but it has still not arrived and never will. I wouldn't reccomend this company to anyone.

I bought a Bear crossbow and the bear x arrows came with it. I sighted in my bow at 20 yards and shot three arrows into the target and all three dead Center bullseye, splitting two of the arrows. Starting shoots some more arrows of a supose to be good quality, they shot 2 inches low at the same target. I started looking for the bear x bolts and found them here at Whitney's Hunting Supplies. Well satisfied and will be doing business regularly with them! GOD is so good!

I bought brand new Excalibur scope from Whitney's, only to have back of scope fall right off. I found the threads stripped, and they glued it on. I wouldn't recommend them at all, and think everybody should know about what they do there.
