I took teens to their version of Mecca...six flags and then found mine at the Village Yarn Shop. What an awesome experience. I found yarn not in big box stores, unique yarns, and extremely friendly service. It's definitely worth a visit. Bring your project and hang with an equally welcoming crafting group.

This is an absolutely fantastic yarn shop!! Rebecca is so very helpful and has lots of indie-dyed yarns to choose from, as well as loads of yarn from popular manufacturers. She is very knowledgeable and spends lots of time in making sure her customers are pleased with the yarn they have selected and its appropriateness for their particular project. My only regret is that I don’t live near this shop! Many thanks for your help and kindness, Rebecca!

This little shop has so much beautiful yarn! The service is helpful and welcoming. If you can't find what you are looking for they are happy to order it for you. A true gem, especially if you want to support local/small businesses.

We took a road trip (on a Sunday about 1.5 hrs from home--and a gorgeous ride through pretty farm country). It was a bit of a "flier" to take a chance on a place we knew nothing about so far from home, but we're so glad we did. Before you get inside, there's some terrific yarn bombing on the trees outside with a sweet little courtyard. Then, you go in...and it gets even better. This lovely little shop is delightful. Rebecca has a big variety of beautiful local yarns and popular commercially produced yarns, lots of patterns, great books, needles and tools, beautiful inspiring shop samples, a Tuesday yarn gathering (we didn't get to that), and the best service. Rebecca is helpful, thoughtful, and good-natured. What more could you want in a great shop? We will make that long drive again soon. We had a "fun hangover" the next day, and wished we lived closer...Thanks so much Rebecca!

Great yarn! Hosts a knitting group for the communities. Rebecca is fabulous! My favorite yarn shop for all things knitting. A great asset to Granville and all within driving distance.
