Sooo expensive! GREAT BAND... Soggy Mountain Boys. Donuts are awesome but $15 a dozen. $11 for a gallon of cider, $6 for a pint!? CRAZY prices. Hard ciders were a big let down and tasting room service was lacking. Great ambiance. $12 for a burnt personal pizza.

Definitely worth the trip! They have so many family friendly events year round. The store has a variety of fresh, homemade products. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is plenty of parking. Check out their website or Facebook page for events. You're not gonna wanna miss out!! And stop by the on site Cider house!! They have delicious bottles of Cider for purchase and BEAUTIFUL original, local artwork for sale too!!

A very unexpected gem tucked away in Granville New York. Come for the apple cider doughnuts and cider, stay for the delicious hard cider! The staff is great, Kim and Dave and Sam and the whole crew made us feel very welcome.

For the price you pay for apples not worth it we tried the u pick and the apples looked just as bad! We bought these from the store how can you sell bad apples! Very disappointed! Best part was the goats and the donuts they where really friendly

The way the apple cider is processed keeps the flavor - the way it used to be 50 years ago when it was fresh pressed and went right into the bottles. Fresh made donuts, still warm. Sparkling apple wines. All the things in the shop - This place is the best orchard business we have ever found.

One of my favorite places to take the kids. It can be a bit expensive and it's usually a bit of a drive, but that's what makes it worth it.They have some variety of apples to pick depending on when you go.There's a store with apple, pumpkin, and other countryside products you won't find out town.They offer fresh cider and doughnuts. These are the other things you need to go for. We make sure to pick up a jug of cider and doughnuts everytime.They have a small petting zoo which the kids love.They also have the Slyboro Cider house right on site to pick up some apple wine or brandy. So much to offer and it's definitely doable.

We love Hicks’ Orchard in Granville,NY. . It’s been a family tradition for four generations. It’s not just apples .. it’s donuts and other homemade goodies, cider., feeding the goats, picking out pumpkins,and a corn maze. Seems like every year they add something new .

I love hicks. The donuts are top notch and worth waiting in line for. They always have lots of delicious things in the barn to grab like cider, popcorn, cookies,fudge, honey, maple candy... and much more! They sell delicious wine as well. I've never had a more delicious Mac apple 🍎 super tart and juicy. It's just a good day going to hicks 🙂

What a nice visit to Hicks Orchard! Lovely atmosphere, great for kids and families for sure! Definitely get the fresh donuts and cider, delicious and fresh, just perfect! Pizza sold outside is way too expensive ($12 for a large slice which they call a pie) and the wait was 45 minutes. Slyboro Cider House was a nice surprise also- wine and hard cider for about $16 bottle and delicious! Vodka was super pricey, but i’m sure worth it. All in all a really nice experience.

Hicks is a family favorite of ours. We have picked our weight in apples, blueberries (best in Updstate NY), and cherries at this beautiful place over the years. Even used the cherries to make a wedding favors years back.Pro-tip: Blueberry picking, go to the back of the area near the road. That's where the least picked plants are so the berries are bigger and juicy.Pro-PRO tip: Do not leave with out an Apple Cider Slushie and also an apple cider donut. You will not regret it.

There are separate entrances / parking lots for the orchard to go apple picking and the barn/ area for food and drinks. If you start at the orchard, you end up driving to the separate entrance at the barn. The orchard is nice, but there was no signage or maps indicating which apples were where, or what areas weren’t meant to be picked at. The line for Apple cider doughnuts can get a bit long; we went before noon and had a short wait (they were delicious)

I understand this was a bad year. I didn't expect the prettiest apples. These are the apples I bought in the store. Apples they picked and put in the bag. The nerve to sell rotten apples at a premium price.

Well, if you like good apples, cider, donuts & a place to mingle with good folks.. this is it!Also has gift shop, fudge, food & many other interesting amenities to offer.Hard cider in bottles or by the glass & taste tasting.Musical events and cookouts. ENJOY!!

Doughnuts are awesome, apple cider is superb, they sell their own alcohol made from the orchard, reasonably priced apples, oh and their apples are great. Great laid-back atmosphere with goats to feed and a cool country store. It's worth the drive especially when you can see the amazing views on your way and this time of year is very colorful with all the leaves changing. They had a tree that was as bright yellow as the sun today near one of their barns.

Always the most lovely time spent at Hicks! The cider donuts are a MUST. I like to go during the week, usually less people around. Take time to sit on the porch, play lawn games, and just enjoy the atmosphere!

We have gone to Hicks every year since moving to the area, and go back because we love it - the mountainside setting, the barn with fresh products and of course the best Apple cider donuts! The addition of the wine/cider barn is like icing on your favorite cake. Only reasons for 4 instead of 5 stars: a) we used to be able to go to the top of the orchard have a picnic lunch observing the beautiful foilage and views and b) prices are a bit out of hand for a bag of apples - though the honeycrisps are nothing short of perfection!

We bought apple cider donuts and apple cider slush. Absolutely delicious, the donuts are soft and fluffy and the aroma of apple is mouth watering. Plus it's oven warm just to the right temperature.The parking is confusing though, the map led us to what appears to be the back gate for handicap parking while the main entrance appears to be on another street.

This is a great apple orchard. There is a home town welcoming feel where you can pick different fruits including strawberries, blueberries, and apples.The kids loves it; we pet the goats, got donuts, saw the honey bees, and tried some cider wine. There is alot to do here and plan ahead to spend most of the day there.

What a great way to spend the day with your family. From infants to 100's it's enjoyed by everyone. You have to buy the apple cider donuts and eat one while it's hot....if you can stop at one, your better off buying two bags.
