So grateful to have a vet so close to home for our dog Rosie. We waited over a year for them to find a new vet after the previous one had retired, and we were well rewarded! We saw Doctor Dave and were very pleased with his care of our little princess. He was very patient and kind, and honest. We do have to go back for a few more tests, and I had to be on the ball for a few things, but overall I am happy with the experience and we will be back! Thank you GSA and all your staff for what you do for this area’s pets.

Dr Jeff Meyer was wonderful with my dog Jack. It was our first visit to the office. Jack was not nervous or uncomfortable even when he was taken out of the room for an xray and blood work. I am very happy that Granville Small Animal Hospital was recommended to me.

Granville Small Animal Hospital has been taking care of our two dogs for about 5 years. For the last year and a half, one of our dogs has had diabetes and the staff has worked diligently with us to help us regulate him. They are caring, very well trained, and include us in the plans to care for our dogs. Our pups are old now, and we don’t know how long we will have them as their aging challenges are creeping in. We recently were traveling for 2 1/2 months and could not wait to get back home for them to be monitored with Their own vet. I know that we will have their support until the end.

I really appreciate the promptness of the appointments at Granville Small Animal Hospital. They excel at their customer service in this area as well as in the examination room. The doctor is very attentive to all details and the technicians are top-notch. The only reason I did not give it five stars is like anywhere else these days everything seems to be super expensive. The annual exam for my Jack Russell which included vaccinations as well as heartworm bloodwork and a fecal examination was almost $300. So an improvement would be in my opinion more affordable health care for our pets. But Granville Small Animal Hospital excels in almost every area. Also it would be nice if they had emergency care for after hours which they do not so if your pet becomes ill after hours your only choice is to drive 45 minutes to an emergency care facility .

I love it here!!!! Have been going for years, is a drive from where I live but well worth it!!! Everyone there is compassionate and great with my fur babies! Started bringing my boxer there a long time ago until she unfortunately passed away two years ago and they were great when it happened and we're there for me emotionally as well, it was a horrible day for me, I miss her so much!! My kids had gotten me a puppy towards the end of her life and she's one of a kind full of energy and can be difficult but they do everything to make bringing her there easier and are so patient and great with her!!! Would recommend this vet to anyone without hesitation!! Thank you all!!!!

The staff is fantastic. Friendly, helpful and patient. The Doctors are caring and always seem to have plenty of time to talk to me about my pets, they never seemed to be in a hurry to get to the next patient. I really appreciate that and feel comfortable asking questions and making my notes! Even when short staffed, they seem to find a way to make sure every animal get the help they need and their "parents" can rest assured it will be #1 care! Do not trust these ppl with your pet. They found a tumor on my dog a year ago. They did a blood test to see if she had high calcium levels. It came back normal and they said she didn’t have cancer. I wish I hadn’t trusted them. A quick google search tells me only 25% of dogs with this type of cancer show high levels of calcium in their blood so that expensive blood test did not rule it out. Also I wonder if they mixed up the samples because she showed all the physical symptoms of hypercalcemia (excess drinking and urination) but they didn’t ask me about that. If they had given me accurate information back then, it may have been early enough to remove the tumor. My dog is now very sick and the surgeon says it’s likely too late for surgery to be curative.This mistake is so glaring. The fact that I can find more accurate information in five seconds on google tells me these doctors don’t care and/or are incompetent.If you want your pets to suffer unnecessarily and die prematurely, bring them here.

Absolutely amazing care. Called and they were able to get me in within a week for a spay on my large breed dog. The doctor was simply amazing. He spent lots of time checking my girl over to make sure she was healthy. The assistant was so friendly and loved up on Mollie like it was her own. The front counter girls were very friendly and best of all their hours were accommodating to us. Highly recommend to everyone !

The staff are always kind and will go above and beyond to make you and your pet comfortable. The doctors take the time to listen to you and will even make phone calls in the evening to help you better understand a diagnosis or treatment. They always call to check in on pets they are caring for. I’m very confident bringing my dogs and cats here that they are receiving the best possible care!

A loving and caring practice with excellent staff in all positions. Even though they are a 45 minute drive away, this hospital is worth it! They really take the animals into account when they do procedures. My dog was scared to go into the room for his shot, so the tech came out and administered it in the waiting room where he was more at ease.....easy in/out for a routine vaccine. Excellent care for my dog's heart murmur too. They are closely monitoring it every half year to determine if and when medication will be necessary. The doctors take the time to answer all your questions. Their prices are lower than what my extended family pays elsewhere in the US. Love this place!

I brought my new puppy to them for her next round of shots, and everyone I interacted with was very friendly and professional. I loved speaking to the vet out at my car instead of over the phone, and I felt very confident they made my puppy’s experience really positive. My questions were answered fully and I really look forward to continuing my new pup’s care with them!

Wish I could give zero stars. Our bird ended up dead after coming here just for a wing trim. He ended up with severe head trauma and we brought him to another vet in Rutland. There was too much bleeding in his brain. I can't believe the vet lied on the phone and said nothing happened except that he was walking around on the table and the floor and it must've been something we did. He was totally happy and fine that morning and I wish I never brought him. We are all so very upset and very heartbroken. R.I.P. Sunshine😢

Always amazing service. They treat my pup like their own. Social Distancing was hard more for me than my dog. I'm not use to not going in with him but it's necessary. Doctor came right outside to talk about the situation and then we were off for his treats. Rosco always leaves happy. 🐶

We switched to Granville after our last veterinarian refused to see our challenging, almost 13 year old beagle unless he was sedated.Our concerns were to make this as minimally stressful on the old dog. His first appointment was to look at his bad tooth....Dr. Colby got on his level, he was more relaxed and felt much less threatened.We made an appointment for a dental and some tooth removal. They let me comfort him upon our arrival and I muzzled him. Once again, he was more relaxed. After the procedure I picked up a happy dog that seems 5 years younger! He's feeling better and looking better.Matt Thomas

They took my 6 pound dog, that they’ve never seen before, right away after learning he was attacked by something.Every person I can in contact with was unbelievably friendly and welcoming.They honestly were the nicest people you would want to take care of your animals.I will continue to use them in the future. If they will let me!

Staff and Doctor's are friendly and they acomadated to my schedule. Wich was early morning the day after Xmas. Great job at no extra cost. The bill was just as expected. Recomend them to anyone in need of a Vet. We've been going there for about 20 years with our family pets, that says something. Thank You
