A fantastic place to eat given the limited options in the area. An old school diner atmosphere with a friendly staff and a huge menu.The roast beef platter was great, and the “best burger in the Catskills” lived up to the name. They had a full menu of just ice cream too; my friend loved his milkshake and my soft serve was some of the best I’ve ever had.Must stop if you’re traveling by.

Some of the nicest staff ever! Well worth the trip if you’re in the area. Plenty of parking available. Sweet potato fries were solid; however, the sundaes here are no joke. 100% live up to the name, best shared someone! Generous portions and great prices.

I went here with mum for a quick bite to eat before a hike. The food was delicious. The wait staff was super friendly. If you go, make sure to get ice-cream. The soft serve and hard scoop are both tasty.Vegetarian options: I got the veggie burger. Absolutely delicious.

WATCH OUT! Watch your wallet!!!The menu has listed "upgrades" with no extra price attached! So- we have no idea what the price is and the server did not tell us! We ordered the Senior open faced turkey sandwich at $8.50 and the server asked if we wanted fries or mashed with it. We said mashed. When we got the bill, we discovered the "upgrade" to mashed potatoes from Fries was $5.25 extra for each meal!!! On a base price of 8.50 that's a 61percent increase for a scoop of mashed potatoes instead of fries!!!Undisclosed on the menu and the server didn't mention either!!!When confronted, the manager got defensive and mumbled about the effort that is required to make potatoes, and the state of New York has raised the minimum wage. Gave us a 10 percent discount ($3) but would not own up to his deceitful business practice.

They were very busy on a Monday night. One large group of 12 next to our smaller group and the service was fast and the waitress was very efficient in getting all these orders out. The advantage to both the waitresses and customers is the fact that all of their menu items are on the waitress' ipad. What she enters onto it immediately goes to the kitchen so they can start working on the orders. It's a good concept since the orders are already in so the waitress can wait on the next table without even leaving the dining area. Food was delicious and fairly priced for this area in NYS.

Fresh cut fries were the best. Didn't like the can mushrooms on top of the burger. The taste of the cream of broccoli soup was good, however it was too thick and needed to cook longer. Service was wonderful. Being one of the first customers of the day, I had a nice conversation with the waitress. Would definitely visit again.Parking: Lots of parking available

WOW!! We stopped hoping to get a good milk shake. Instead of the soft serve ones, they actually also make "real milkshakes". They made it extra thick when asked and it was amazing. Their menu looks great and includes many reasonably priced options. We are planning on dining in to try their reubens and chicken and dumplings.

The food wasn't that good. I had a Swiss cheese burger with hand cut fries, the roll was cold and slightly stale and the fries they brag about were way over cooked and yet cold and hard. Also had mozzarella cheese sticks with marinara sauce and they were ok at best. We also had a chicken Caesar wrap that had two small previously frozen chicken strips and some iceberg lettuce. If I said it was bland that would be saying it had flavor. The fries that came with it were of course over cooked, hard, and cold. All this came to $38.50 with 2 ice teas. Plus add a 15% tip which after over 30yrs in the food industry was overly generous but I did cut some slack seeing she was buried with little help. I'm going to say the reason it was so sub par was because of new owners that should have let what was from what I hear a great place with good food alone but of course didn't. Now would I ever go back or send anyone there, well that's a easy one. No

My husband and I had just come back from a trip from Albany and I told him on the way back I wanted to stop by this place until I try the burgers cuz I heard they were very good we got there we were the first customers of the day the young lady that was our waitress was absolutely wonderful couldn't ask for a better one we ordered our food we got our food we were starving but when we started eating it the onion rings and french fries were extremely greasy there's grease in the bottom of our dish I wanted it we let them know about this they did not compensate in any way cuz I didn't even finish my lunch my husband and I discussed it on our way home and I said I would like to give them another try sometime hopefully I'll get the right food atmosphere is wonderful plenty of things to look at I know the ice cream is good because I have had that!!!!

Great food, but a little pricey for everything. I had a burger, fries, soda, and shake, which came out to $26, with tip.As for the food, the burger was amazing, and cooked well. The sweet potato fries were also really enjoyable, as well. The shake was cold and refreshing after a long hike.Overall, good service and an enjoyable drive inn.

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience today for lunch. We drove out of our way about a half hour and everything was better than expected including the friendly staff and crisp hand cut fries. The hand scooped ice cream was better than in phoenicia, and I loved the cannoli flavor. Treat yourself and try Sundaes!Parking: Large open gravel lotKid-friendliness: Small kids menu at the bottom with quesadillas, chicken fingers, and spaghetti. They could use a kid burger or slider as an improvement.

Loved the setting - the outside seating is perfect with great views. The food was really good - we had burgers, roast beef s/w, etc. Their fries were below avg though - not at all crispy. The ice creams on the other hand were delicious. The staff and service is very good. Overall a great joint to enjoy lunch with lots of options.

Everything was excellent. I don't live in the area but I was in town and a local recommended I stop there for lunch. I'm very glad he did. I'll probably be in that area at least once more and I'll make a point to stop at Sundaes again.Parking: There's plenty of safe, spacious parking around the building.
