Family Dollar store #1870 in Gloversville is a staple for thousands in the area. The store recently had a major renovation complete with a new customer service and management crew and WOW you can really tell the difference! They are friendly, helpful and fast! The store is well kept, orderly and very clean! I love coming to this store over competitors!

I'm not entirely sure what your policy is regarding children under the age of 18 in your store. My oldest step-son is now afraid ye is going to get in trouble for being in your store without an adult. He is a good kid and has never had a single problem in any other store in the area. I sent him there today, with his brothers, to yet snacks for themselves. He and his brothers returned home completely soak and wet after walking to Dollar Tree and Cumberland Farms because he was "scared we we're going to get in trouble". I do not appreciate that this happened as your store name is Family Dollar and shouldn't have a problem providing customer service for a child and his siblings. If it's a matter of loss prevention, I would hope that you have policies and procedures in place to address that sort of situation. If it is a matter of horseplay and rowdi ess inhe's in the store, I assure you that our children have more couth than that and wouldn't disrespect a store that they live very close to. Please contact me with a reponse if you feel the need to address this problem as I could not reach anyone by phone.

was told there are other stores i agreed put my stuff on shelf and left because she was right there are other stores and now they get my money there are two dollar gen stores in my area and they dont have a mess at all times carts full of stuff cant get down ailes someone in man should look into this store half time have to wait for assc to finish cig outside before service

Very dirty store and nothing was were it belonged. Stuff all over the floors so much so ,that I had to push things aside to pass. Only one workng person was in sight . They ill lll ll)need )llllmmlllll)lol

This place has 5 people working but there just standing around while there are a line full of customers it's always like that when we go in there it's ridiculous you need to get their head out of the social life and get to work

Cashier very rude ,had to use bathroom was told we don't have one ,and the one we do have is for employees only,it's not like we weren't shopping there,so they lost about 250.00 cause we put all our stuff back,we will not be shopping there again!!
