Previously underwhelmed, but highly satisfied this time. They were running late, so I left my car there to have it's oil changed. I called later that afternoon and the manager had my invoice at his fingertips. He promptly took my payment over the phone, and I was able to pick my car up after work. I will definitely use them again.

Pretty good prices and honest about how long the work will take. Even when they are busy they are still pretty quick. A good place to go if you need an oil change and inspection. Plus you don't need to make an appointment for basic stuff.

Arrived at 12:30 and the wait was an hour for an oil change and an inspection. Not too bad wish it was a little faster for a Wednesday but they made up for it with super friendly service.

The guys that work here are awesome! They literally are some of the best mechanics in Gloversville. I originally went in for an inspection and Matt told me exactly why my vehicle failed. A couple hundred dollars later the issues were all fixed and my vehicle passed inspection and runs like it's supposed to. Love these guys!

Immediately upon leaving the service shop ( and I use to word loosely). My car began to sound like it was broken. I had been gone approximately 2 minutes. Returned to the shop. The manager said it was not their fault. He was dismissive and rude. I asked for him to call the owner. Walked away to another room and said he could not reached the owner. Unfortunately when I become frustrated and angry I can use not nice words. Unless I am treated with such disrespect this is not normal behavior for me. I had a gut feeling not to go in there and sure wish I had followed that instinct. Went to Amsterdam location. The person at the desk was very pleasant. He reached out the the owner Rob. And said Rob would be calling me back. Never heard back so I reached out the next day and Rob ( the owner). Answered the phone. He totally defended the Manager at the Gloversville location and the managers rudeness to me but let me know my righteousness anger was unexceptionable. The owner said the damage to my car could not have happened. I disagree. Actions have a way of coming back on you. Hopefully this review will stop someone from using this company. Brought my car here a while back, google just now prompted me for a review. They completely forgot to re attach the front of the plastic cover that covers my oil pan and I dragged it down the street before I noticed and that’s completely broken now. Didn’t offer to replace it they just re attached what was left of it and sent me on my way. They also didn’t tighten my drain plug enough leading me to believe I had a significant oil leak, my new mechanic described it as “hand tight”. I use my car for work, I wouldn’t recommend bringing any car that you rely on here, the mistakes could’ve ruined my engine if I didn’t pay closer attention to those sort of things

They were unbelievably busy the day before a holiday weekend. Got me in and out in less than 50 minutes. Matt has a great sense of humor and kept customers laughing as we waited. Highly recommend. Honest, hardworking people here. A gem in the community.

Don’t waste your time take it to an actual shop. These clowns don’t know anything except how to steal your money. Says first come first serve, pull up and they say oh you need an appointment lol. YOU GUYS ARE THE WORST. If there were negative ratings I’d gladly rate the clowns a -5

I have been going to Adirondack express lube for 6-7 years and have never had a problem with anything. I've had oil changes, tire replacements, brakes, inspection all without issue. Matt is a great guy. A lot of the negative reviews just sound like ignorant customers that either didn't get their way or want free service.Like everything else, you have a choice, don't like a business, go somewhere else.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

Great customer service & the cheapest oil changes in the area. The person that did the work even used the parts I had already in the car (lights). There were quite a few people there & I was done & out within 15-20 minutes. I think it was $36 for a synthetic oil change (5 quarts) plus fluids, vacuum etc.

Great place to get an oil change. I also got some all season tires and they are great in the snow. I'm confident to drive my children around now. Thank you for the piece of mind. Get in early , cause the place gets busy.

The staff here is always very friendly, I've gone to both locations and had great service! I've since moved away from the area and had to find a new company to work with and very much miss the Adirondack Express Lube staff! They always did a very thorough job and were honest with me about what would need to be replaced/fixed eventually and what needed to be looked at immediately. As a college student I really appreciated this! Also, the sweet black dog (Cola) there is adorable and I love him!

There dirty. They try to upsell stuff you don't need like ball joints or rotors because of surface rust and can be rude when you don't buy into it and they charge you for a failed inspection when it runs and drives fine and other places inspect it no problem. I won't be seen there again. (every other place I have been to will tell me if its going to pass before they do the inspection test, these guys just charge you for a failed inspection.

Love the service here. Employees are always friendly and unlike most others, they do not go out of their way to find issues with your vehicle. If they do recommend additional work, they take the time to show and explain the issue. I won’t go anywhere else!

I stopped in to get my oil changed and was pleasantly surprised when I was able to get in right away. Jared was very helpful and has a great personality. He also let me know they do inspections there, so I was able to get my car inspected at the same time. Zach did the oil change and he was very fast and efficient.There is free Wi-Fi while you’re waiting. I highly recommend Adirondack Express Lube.

My car was brought in for my winter tires to be put on and balanced. I drive my car afterward, and it is all over the road. Something is wrong. We brought it back, and it turns out - THEY NEVER BALANCED THEM TO BEGIN WITH! They rebalance (after rudely trying to tell us come back later, hello I cannot drive it!) and the problem was better, but still wrong. I take it elsewhere because this is not how my car drives, and Fuccillo says this car was so out of balance no wonder I was having issues! So they correct it and now it is fine. My husband contacts Express Lube for a refund, and guess what?? Rob (the supposed manager) will not return our calls! We literally paid $100 for them to do absolutely nothing! Terrible quality and unprofessional! I understand mistakes happen, so make good! You admitted it wasn't done when we brought it back. I obviously would not recommend taking your tonka truck there!Service: Tires

When you go, be prepared to give an auto shop your entire history. I showed up with cash in hand to get an oil change but the female clerk wanted all of my pedigree. I tried to pay in cash but she kept saying thats how the system is. She finally said "There's a Mavis down the road." I guess they don't want my money and I don't want mailers, flyers, spam or robo calls. Oh yeah, how many business's data gets hacked? Nothing to hide, just want to be secure.Jenna,I just saw your response. Your entitled to your opinion, however if you felt that I was rude because I said I just wanted an oil change without giving my personal information, I suspect customer service isn't for you. I never raised my voice or used inappropriate language. Most businesses don't require this kind of information for service. I wasn't condescending, I only asked questions. I wont patronize your establishment and I won't recommend it either. There was no reason to turn me away. Any response at this point just proves your trying to mitigate your company's ridiculous procedure.Robert

I had a flat tire that needed to be plugged. The shop was closing up when I pulled in on a Saturday, they held off closing and plugged my tire and were very pleasant and they did not try and pressure me into buying tires or other repair! When I need new tires, they will get my business before another!

I went there for an inspection and oil change. Was very upset when they said my 2016 Jeep Cherokee didn't pass inspection because ( I ) had my windows tinted to dark. I took it to the dealership where I bought it and she passed fine. These people that work at Adk.Exp Lube need to not base their rules on what they tead on U Tube.
