I really like coming here as it's close to the house. They have great customer service and they'll assist you if you need it. Prices are competitive and for us veterans we get a 10% discount at this location. You won't get it at Queensbury though. Just saying.Update: 13May23Bought some paint today. Staff always there to answer your questions and help with a solution. My paint color was in the system so it was easy to get this mixed. Thank you for your time and help with this project.

I was in Ace Hardware in South Glens Falls this evening looking for something. I had a picture of what I was looking for on my phone. A young man named Maddox looked it up on his computer and showed me a few options of the closest thing they had available. He was polite, professional and he really tried hard to find what I was looking for! When I told my daughter about him she said he was just as helpful to her when she went in looking for something. Keep up the good work Maddox! Good customer service is hard to find these days! There are a lot of adults that have been in the workforce for many years that could learn from you! You have a bright future my young friend! 🏆

This is my hometown Ace hardware and couldn't have better people. Most of them have been there for over 5 years Got much knowledge to help you get your parts. I have no negative things to say at all. Pets are allowed they'll give him a treat for free they'll take their picture and put it on their Facebook to show people. Very welcoming very friendly and they have everything you need pretty much.

The older female and male associate are very RUDE, maybe nice to some people but i have had nothing but problems. She apparently takes her home life to work and takes it out on customers. Queensbury ACE has a MUCH better selection and FRIENDLY staff. If I could give a 0 out of 5 I would at the way I was treated in there. Never going back again.

The staff here is incredibly helpful, and it's always easy to find someone to help (as opposed to a big box store). The selection is very good too, surprisingly. Good price on propane refills, and they have a discount loyalty card for that as well (buy 5, get one free).

Phenomenal Customer Service! Above and beyond!As I arrived to the store to pick up some PVC, the little one in the car FINALLY fell asleep for a nap. I called in asking if someone would mind coming out and helping me from the car and Lisa said no problem! She was so friendly and kind, completed my whole transaction from the car, and made me feel like this totally crazy request was so normal. I've always had great service, but this was beyond!

I LOVE this store and so did my mother!! They have the most knowledgeable and friendly staff. They ALWAYS have the advice and everything I need; I am NEVER disappointed. They are wonderful for pool testing and products; they NEVER oversell you like the pool stores often do and there is no charge for water testing. They approach any pool issue in logical steps so you never get or do more than is necessary. They also have a wonderful selection of Melissa and Doug toys for my grandchildren. They have premiere service and are competitive in price with the big box stores and major retailers.You won't be disappointed!

You want great service? Do you want knowledgeable people? This is the place to go. I know plumbing electrical painting and much more. All I have to do is walk in tell them what I am up to and they will bring me to the spot. They will also bring it what ever it might be to your vehicle for you. I love to be able to talk to them. They understand what I am talking about unlike the big box stores. So if you are not an expert tell them what you are up to and they can explain what you need and how to accomplish your task. Best of all they are honest they will not cheat you. They are not in it for just the buck. They are there for you.

True, real, actual customer service that you don’t have to spend hours searching for. I was in the store a total of one minute before I was asked if I needed help finding anything. And then they helped me! If you shop in the big box stores, you know how rare that is. This is a gem of a hardware store with great people, nice displays, and reasonable prices.

I am disabled and was discriminated against as well as had the store employee commit slander for falsely accusing me of stealing and plan to take every action I can only and I have picture evidence as well as receipts for not only what I PAID for in there but the curtains I BROUGHT and paid for from WALMART

Staff is very friendly and helpful, and they stock a surprising variety of items in a relatively small space. Everything is laid out well, and is pretty easy to find. If you have any trouble locating something, the staff is never far away!

Great selection of fittings and bolts and all little things that home Depot and Lowe's just don't bother to carry but you always seem to actually need. Friendly staff. Not much staff, which is why only 4 star not 5. Had one guy covering all the floor. At 2pm on a Sunday, so still when people are actually doing projects and need assistance. Great store tho, they just need to have more than one person helping people per shift

I love having thease hardware stores near by. There are so many locations. A bit more pricey than the bigger box stores but if your on the job and in a hurry the ace stores are usually right around the corner.
