We got the fresh turkey last year for thanksgiving and it was great. Tasted like a different animal than the turkeys that are frozen in the supermarkets. Owner was informative on the turkey’s history since it was our first time buying from them.

Love this store! Always fresh farm produce, milk in glass bottles. Visiting this store for years every week. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast sandwiches are very good. The best corn I ever tried! Farm tomatoes are the earliest in the region!

Would not recommend getting a breakfast anywhere else but here. The "hog" was phenomenal. Service was amazing. Very nice people, will be back for sure.

Amazing roast beef sandwich with homemade horseradish mayo and homemade pork sandwich with homemade thousand island dressing. Bought the sausage and bacon that the owner makes. Looking forward to eating that! Also bought sliced roast beef which is superb..They're so nice and had such a pleasant experience. Highly recommend. Sandwiches only made 11-2pm!! Call orders in before 2pm! Not opened Sunday and Monday.

I love this place. They make an amazing egg sandwich with their homemade sausage. I also always check out their pasta salad selection as those never disappoint either. So happy to have found my go-to egg sandwich joint around here, and the owners are always so friendly!

This place is EXCELLENT! Highest quality stuff in the Capitol District. My favorite place to buy fresh butchered meats of all kinds. The quality of the products are top shelf and very healthy. The Dairy and farm produce is as good as it gets. The in store made soups and salads are as good as homemade...don't bother cooking, just stop by and bring some home. The sandwiches are excellent. My all-time favorite store!

Vince has all the Deli stuff you could want plus he's a real butcher. His home-made sausage is primo and on the right days he has marinara sauce too. Hard to go wrong here.

Old Fashioned market where they'll know your name if you stop in more than a few times. Top quality meats, homemade soups and other great stuff. Be prepared for a refreshing departure from the bad service your used to getting elsewhere. Can't go wrong with Van Allen Farms. Wish I still lived around the corner.
