Went in to purchase a small fish for my daughters aquarium on 2/22/24 and got grilled by the girl in the department and then refused to sell me a fish, so I refused to buy the other fish I was going to purchase for my tanks. Would not recommend them , I have 40 years experience with fish and to be told by a 20 year old that I can't do that is ridiculous. Will never go back.

Today I had the pleasure of bringing my dog to Petsmart. I had a really nice grooming technician. I believe her name was Caitlyn. She kept me informed with the visit and my dog came out looking great. Would definitely return.

I enrolled my pup for intermediate training with Gina and let’s just say, she surpassed all my expectations and was just the best! Zoey went in struggling with anxiety and I honestly didn’t think she was going to be able to do it at all, let alone pass! Zoey is now a scholar and knows so many new skills!I cannot thank Gina enough for her patience with my Zoey, and of course I am SOOO proud of my girl! I couldn’t have done it without Gina! 10/10 recommend!

Glenmont Petsmart is awesome! Before going, I called the store to see if they had Guinea pigs and to see how much. The associate was patient and answered my questions. When we went, associate Jesse took care of us and was very knowledgeable about all the animals and products and patient with us. Checkout process was great and we saved a lot of money by signing up for Treats reward program. This was an overall great experience and we will recommend them to everyone!Edit (09/27/22): Our piggies, Peppa and Zoe are very happy and are showing their cute personalities. Thank you for the adorable animals, Petsmart! ❤️

Really unfortunate experience with Caitlyn when I brought my pup in for a scheduled groom. She did not want to provide the service I had requested, tried to turn me away because she disputed my pup’s vax record. Grudgingly called the vet when I asked instead of proactively helping to find the answers. Called later to say my pup had fleas and refused to continue the cut. Left my pup half cut, poor thing looks silly. PetSmart policy says they groom dogs with fleas, but they turned her away. I thought PetSmart was in the business of helping animals.

Had all the toys I need to make my little girl tired out lol but nice selection of dog and cat toys and products price was to bad either and had the hip and joint medicine i needed will definitely be going back for more stuff and the medicine and to check out the huge selection of food that I didn't have a chance to look at plus to check out some of the dog vest that looked very well made by kong I think the brand was did know they make anything else besides toy til I saw the harness with a poop bag holder lol to funny bust smart 👌 👌 💯 🤙 🤣

This is the best Petsmart (IMO). My Chloe loves coming for her nail appointments and sniffing around. As she’s getting older she’s getting a little more nervous, and they treat her with so much love and affection. She’s a pittie mix so sometimes other places don’t welcome us, but they always make this smush feel extra loved and pretty.

I bought my awesome cat from here. They actually came from the Mohawk Hudson humane society, but the employees here were amazing. My new cat is so fun, I named him Mahkulu (after Makhulu of the Mopogo Lion pride) he has the same personality 😁

I recently brought my pup in to get a wash and trim. When I arrived, the lady provided me with information in regards to what would take place during the grooming appointment. I showed her a picture of how I wanted the cut to be, and was told to come back within 2 to 3 hours. When I arrived to pick my pup up, they had cut him extremely short so bad that he had a bald spot. Then I was told that I should possibly look into talking with my vet about a calming agent for his next visit because his behavior wasn’t the best. Mind you he’s a Maltipoo and this isn’t his first grooming appointment. He’s had no problems before until this appointment. I will not be returning for a grooming service from this location ever. They did such a horrible job and my poor pup looks like a chicken. I booked this appointment with PetSmart hoping they would do well but sadly I was mistaken. Now I’m not sure if it was just the groomer himself but it left a bad taste in my mouth. 0/10 would recommend.

I can not even express how unintelligent, moronic or lacking in common sense the employee they hired to run their register on this particular day is!!! This individual has NO business dealing with the public OR practicing customer service. I am seriously at a loss. Pray for this particular location because it's going to hell, QUICKLY!!!!

Very bad service and rude employees. Will not be spending my money there anymore. Stopped to get bedding for a snake I got at an expo. Iv been working with reptiles most of my life and I’m making a career out of it so I know what I’m talking about most of the time. Two employees started after me because of the substrate I chose which is recommended by most breeders and professionals and I’ve used it myself for years. Please if they wanna go after people that bad for stuff make them do the right research and pull up links on facts why that substrate is sooo bad for anything instead of making people who work hard for the knowledge they know feel stupid in front of other strangers

I made an appointment for grooming and when I arrived, I was told it wasn’t in the system. Obviously it is disappointing but to make matters worse the employee was unapologetic and rude. They blamed the computers. The other staff is always so helpful and kind. It is sad for one person to ruin your experience. Definitely need to work on your customer service.

Cassie, the associate that helped us, was SO knowledgeable about all the fish and products and helped us pick the best things for our tank. Management was super friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our water when we first started out, but they tested the sample we brought (for free) and told us what we were doing wrong and the best things to do to fix it. Our fish have flourished ever since and seem extremely happy in their new home!!!

Pretty layout and clean store but the aquatic section is always soaking wet all over the floor when I visit. The staff is super friendly, but the stock in this store isn’t the best unless it’s shipment day and even then it’s iffy. The salon staff is wonderful and the groomers know what they are doing as well as being very personable and kind
