The reviews are true. The pharmacy is the worst. If you need a prescription filled please save yourself the trouble and go to Giant or another pharmacy. This day I went I had got dental work done and I was in a lot of pain. I received a text saying my prescription was ready I was unaware that the pharmacy closes at 1:30 for a break. I get in line to get my prescription and the pharmacy cashier was assisting a customer in front of me. She proceeds to tell me that when she’s done with him she’s closing. I ask her can she take me before she goes (I have gauze in my mouth I can barely talk and I’m bleeding) since she is already still assisting another customer she says no she’s ready for lunch. How professional. I go to the pharmacist to ask can she help me e. She laughs and says that they have been closing for lunch at 1:30 for over a year and to go back to the pharmacy cashier and *maybe* she will take me. The cashier is standing there listening to what the pharmacist is telling me. I got back to her and she says with a smirk on her face that she already closed the register. At this point I’m crying because I’m in so much pain and I’m bleeding from my mouth and I go to the front end manager and they basically tell me there is nothing they can do to help me and I have to wait until the cashier comes back from their break. The biggest mistake I made was attempting to get a prescription filled here. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with unprofessional people and a store manager that doesn’t care about their customers.

Went there today to get Flu Vaccine. All the signage outside and inside the store says Walk in’s Welcome. That isnt true. Vaccines are by appt only. When I pointed to the signs, I was told even though signs said that , the Glenmont store policy was to only give vaccines by appt. In trying to make an appt, the only ones available are at times late at night apparently. CVS in Delmar is much friendlier.

Walking into the store twice in a week and a half span and seeing stuff low or out of stock is getting old. While this might have changed by the time this is posted, the staff is still lackluster at best.

I have had nothing but great experiences on a weekly basis. I have witnessed many customers being rude. Every business everywhere is struggling to find competent staff that sticks around! This EXTREMELY busy store, like almost every other pharmacy is trying to accommodate too many customers, too many prescriptions, to many special requests, while being under pressure from CVS corporate. Empathy, compassion and perception might apply to most complainers. I'm grateful this resource is available in this highly trafficked area. COVID has changed everything - perhaps you might want to put yourself in their shoes.

I came in for passport pictures. The first set of pictures came out terribly, so the picture was repeated. I don't understand why the cashier couldn't show me what the pictures looked like on the digital camera before going through all the steps to print them. Wouldn't that be common sense? That's the entire point of using a digital camera.... Anyway, I ended up being charged for both sets of pictures - I did not realize this until I got home. Why would I be charged for a set of terrible pictures? I don't know of any other place that would do that. Was the cashier really that lazy she couldn't void out one set or get a manager? The store was completely empty when I came in... I've never really had any issues with this place until now. Pretty annoyed.

Customer service sucked went there a month ago and didn’t want to go back went there again n only went to grab a drink dude blocked me from walking down the hall and then otw out stood infront of exit and just made it super awkward staring at us with arms crossed. I went to get a soda and do self check out I didn’t even have to deal with talking to this worker but he definitely liked the attention of being noticed. And he definitely made it clear he doesn’t like customers going there at night. I won’t be going back :) don’t suggest going at night

At least once per week I visit to pick up my wife's RXs or to get my candy fix.I have been going there since August 2010. The employees across all sections are helpful , courteous and professional. I cannot understand anyone having a bad experience unless they caused it them self.

Script was ordered on Friday. They waited until after the close of business to let me know it wouldn't be ready until Tuesday...pain medication. 4 days later still not ready at the time they said it would be. When I asked why, I was rudely told that I could pick it up in 15 minutes. Really? I've driven down there 3 times, suffered through 4 days in pain, was given a pick up time of 4 pm and she's annoyed ? Cvs store 1090 needs to pull it together.

I just received my annual flu shot at the Glenmont pharmacy. The pharmacist and tech were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Wait time was faster than estimated. Thanks for a pleasant experience.

The rudest people I have ever dealt with! I have worked some time in customer service and would have never hung up on anyone. The pharmacy treats you as if you are insignificant and not worth their time. The manager I spoke with was even worse and called me a liar on the phone! Save your time, money and sanity and get your items and medicine elsewhere!

Tried to get a money order today, my apartment complex requires them for fees. I used their extremely slow ATM and then waited in line just for the old lady behind the counter to claim “they don’t do money orders.” I know every other CVS in the area does momeyorders and both CVS’s website money gram’s website list them as places to go to get money orders.

Store just opened a few months ago. Its much larger than most CVS today very nice on the inside. Parking entering and exiting is a problem at times.

Pharmacy staff seems irritated and impatient with questions you may ask. Its sad because people usually go to a pharmacy not feeling well and in need of their script. Unfortunate
