The new owners have done a great job on the food and drinks, everything i had was amazing, the wings as an appetizer, the shrimp scampi Alfredo was delicious and so was the rice pudding. It's nice to have good food in pond eddy again. Even if you stop in for a drink and sitting outside you can't go wrong.

Given the old country style of this place, the smell of mice did not turn us away. Drinks were ok, waiting 40 minutes for appetizers was not, and when after 1h 20mins kitchen didn’t even start working on our main course we simply quit. Onion soup was ok, bruschetta was not.I get the fact that places like that have a tough time surviving, but if you do not have staff to support three tables in your dining room, stay with the Bar and don't bother opening the dining room for lunch.

Fabulous restaurant hidden gem in the Catskills, staff very friendly and attentive. Food is delicious must try the steaks and the chicken parm. Bonus the Middletown cigar lounge has an annex next door to the in loaded with premium cigar selections.

The Millbrook Inn by T&T offers some very good German recipes. I had the Jager schnitzel which was delicious. Also their roasted garlic appetizer was amazing. I will definitely be back again soon.

There are many places along NY Rt97 where you can stop for food and beverages, but few rise above the quotidian. The Millbrook Inn is one of the exceptions. The menu includes the usual pub grub but then soars past them with many imaginative variations and other creative offerings that are carefully prepared and nicely presented. Definitely worthy of a stop.

It's a unique place with food from Burgers and wings to Steaks and Escargot. The setting as far as furniture goes is like from the 60's 70's, clean but oldschool vibe. The bar is decent size with great bartenders. The small building on the same property right by the restaurant is the Cigar Lounge and there's outdoor seating for dinner, drinks and cigars. The staff from the chefs, bartenders and cigar aficionado his name is Phil or Chill with Phil as we call him makes this place unique and it's priced right, you won't go broke, it's a place to come hangout by yourself or bring the family and better yet bring friends,,, there's cornhole games outside, the property is huge with seats in the backyard to hangout by the stream and listen to the stream flow while hanging out enjoying what nature has to offer ! Not many establishments like this to go have dinner, have a drink and smoke cigars. There's firepits. They also host movie nights, sip and paint, pig roast. I can go on and on but I think you get the point,,, I highly recommend this establishment and if you have a little too much to drink there's rooms upstairs to stay in for a fee ofcourse and long as they're empty cause it is a Air B&B.Check this place out, you'll thank me later 👊😎🇺🇲Parking: A lot of parking right in front of the establishment, more parking than the establishment can hold inside for patrons.Kid-friendliness: It's good for people of all ages, very oldschool setting, I love coming here, there's boardgames for the children and adults, upstairs Air B&B and Cigar Lounge on the same property in a separate building.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, ramps accessible to go into the bar or eating area with wider than normal doors for easy accessibility.

As a road construction worker that works all around NY. AND PA. I've been a lot of places, some. Good, some really bad, but this place saved and made my day. Around this time last year, my partner and i were starving and hot as hell, driving around looking for food and a/c, we stumbled on this little gem, but it was closed. Just as we were walking back to our truck, the owners showed up and said they open in an hour so, we said we would be back, and they replied "nonsense come on in for a cold drinkand sit we will fire up the grill and fryer we make amazing burgers" it was the best bison buger ive ever had. The best part is that the company i work for is sending me back to rt 97 for more work this monday, and i WILL be stopping by for lunch

Was a party of 4, the atmosphere is very quaint. love the maple bacon on the hanger concept, but it was over cooked. Crab & Lobster cake was awesome the Black Angus NY strip Stake was terrible, very tough and hard to chew. The drinks were great. The waitress not so, very forgetful, and slow returning to check in on us. Previously we had a great time. I would give them another shot. If no improvement, time to move on.

Amazing place! Stumbled in while on a motorcycle ride and felt instantly at home. The couple who own the bar are so sweet, and the husband is the chef. The menu is amazing, nowhere NEAR typical bar food. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting

Great service and pet friendly 💗💗 they have complementary doggie treats and offer a bowl of water for pets. Dawn was very attentive to all customers and I didn’t get the names of everyone else but they were all great and made us feel at home! Prices were also fair so its worth a stop there. We ordered a Remy Martin on the rocks and a bacon cheese burger with fries, the fries had a perfect balance. From Nany and Ty :)Thanks

Stayed at the Inn and got to enjoy a delicious dinner and breakfast. Can't recommend the Bar enough, loved the G&T, Owner recc's, Burgers, BEC on croissant, and breakfast scramble. Food was hot, fresh, and portions were perfect.

I know this place has some smoking reviews but I feel compelled to share my experience . This place was highly recommended by friends and we were eagerly looking forward to our mealAs soon as we walked in ,the waitress told us they were expecting a group of 24, we were seated at a table that was barely big enough for one let alone two. When our drinks arrived my beer was almost flat. It took a bit, but when I flagged the waitress down she was nice enough to get me another, unfortunately this one was the same. Knowing the food was supposed to be very good, we decided to let this go along with the small table. We ordered perogies which were very good. We both ordered a different type of schnitzel, while the taste was good , mine was tough as nails, my wife’s was acceptable but barely . The other items on the plate was very good but they really messed up on the schnitzel and I didn’t go there to fill up on potatoes. We overheard the waitresses taking about the group of 24 several times and couldn’t understand why, there was three waitresses. Our meal was very rushed and start to finish was probably 25 minutes, again because of the group of 24. Not once during our meal did the waitress come over to see if everything was ok and when I informed her how tough the schnitzels were, (and we only ate half each,) there was no offer of a replacement or discount mentioned. Long story short, I don’t think I’ll be going back. I sure hope those three waitresses could handle that group of 24,

So very friendly & welcoming. Food was very good. My only complaint, not really a complaint more of a preference, I had the eggplant, for me I prefer very thinly sliced eggplant especially when sliced lengthwise. It was grilled rather than fried & very tasty 😋

Excellent food, we got the watermelon salad to split, and then a ravioli special and schnitzel. Large portions, friendly staff. We stayed upstairs in one of the rooms available on Airbnb; we’ll definitely be back!

We have dined here twice so far and the food was absolutely amazing. The service was exceptional and the servers were super friendly. If you want fantastic food at a reasonable price then you need to check out the Millbrook inn. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. This is now a go to places for us.

My wife and I got an unfriendly vibe from this place, and the food wasn't great either. We went for lunch on a slow, off-season Sunday and entered through the small bar area where there were just a couple of people seated. The woman behind the bar, who we believe was one of the owners, and who definitely saw us come in, didn't greet us or direct us into the dining room even though we walked right past her. (She also ignored us when we left. What does it take, really?) On the food side, we ordered burgers, which are advertised on the menu as Wagyu beef, a premium beef that's supposed to have superior flavor, but they didn't taste like anything special. They were also overcooked. The cheese appeared to be American cheese, and the buns were supermarket grade, and untoasted. On the plus side, the fries were delicious. While the food was disappointing, the lack of hospitality was the kicker. It made us feel unwelcome, and spoiled our experience. For a small, local restaurant, there's just no excuse, especially considering the place was practically empty,. We won't be going back.

Really wanted to love this place since it’s close to home but I had a very poor experience. Upon ordering the brat, it had mentioned it came with potato pancakes but I received fries. I then went to bite into the brat and hit something solid, so solid it hurt my tooth. I looked and the brat was solid. A rock. Not edible and quite honestly a health risk. I wasn’t sure if I would write this review but I was shocked by the dish I was served. Hope things turn around.

I'm not one that normally takes time to write a review but the Millbrook Inn deserves an exception. I simply can't say enough about how good the food is here! Everything tastes so fresh and made from scratch. If you want to try something out of the ordinary the Millbrook Inn is a must. Delicious food and a cool and comfortable atmosphere. Also a beautiful ride getting there! I live two and a half hours away and gladly make the trip whenever possible. I'm kind of glad it's not to close to home because I would probably gain 100 lbs. if they were close enough for me to visit whenever I want :)

Not too bad but some of the dishes were a bit off, like the lamb was a bit too salty and the chicken was a bit dry. The servers were pretty nice and attentive, and the servings were decently sized.

Favorite place to stop while kayaking with my father every year for 17 years. Also a great night spot when I worked as a counselor at a nearby camp. I have only the fondest memories of this irreplaceable NY state landmark. I live in the mountain west now and just seeing a picture of the Millbrook chokes me up.
