I highly recommend the dog training services with Caroline! I adopted a 7-year-old Tibetan Mastiff named Abby who had been used for breeding and was subsequently abandoned. We don’t know for sure how her previous owners treated her, but she was very leery of people (especially men). Caroline showed us the little steps we could take to help slowly get Abby more comfortable with people.Abby is a little stubborn, and Caroline was very patient when working with her. She is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and knows how to read their subtle signs of anxiety and stress. It made the whole training experience enjoyable for both me and my dog.And after several months of training, I can say that the changes in my dog have been astonishing! Even issues like barking that were not directly addressed in the class, have improved significantly since we started the training. It delights me to see how confident and happy Abby seems now! This is not the closest pet store to me, in fact it's quite a drive and there are a number of much closer pet stores. I make the trip because the always have what I need, they're very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them!

I've always had the best customer experience here.Today, May 24, 2023....I am giving them the biggest praise and appreciation for contacting me about my order. The gentleman that called made sure I wasn't charged for a duplicate same day order and let me know that my dasher was on the way. I thank them so much for the communication.

Caroline was such a joy to talk to and my dogs absolutely love her! I’ve talked to and tried to work with many dog trainers before who claimed to use positive reinforcement but didn’t and wanted to use e collars or putting a choke or prong collar on, and they were always so expensive for such little training and wanted to hurt my dogs with those tools, but Caroline is so down to earth and taught us so much amazing information all in a way that made my dogs fall in love with her I swear! I can just tell them “time to go to school” and they just know and go crazy excited to go to school and learn new things in such a fun way. I can’t wait to do more training with her, she’s a diamond in the rough and worth the drive to go work with her. Thank you for all you do Caroline!!!

During my visit today, Solomon was extremely kind and helpful in finding the best food for my Yorkshire Terrier and in providing information about dog training sessions. My personal experience has been that they have a young but helpful& positive staff at this store. Excellent fish supplies, solid quality frozen/feeder rodents for snakes (my boa readily eats the artic rats when I'm in between shipments from specialty supplier) and they fulfil online orders within hours. Even though other stores are closer, I choose this one as my go-to place.

Placed an online order for 1 item and curbside pick up. Two hours later, I did not get notified for pick up. I was near the store so I figured I would take a chance. There were 4 people "working" in the store, zero other customers and my order still was not ready! I showed the associate the online order receipt and he double checked that it wasn't ready. I asked if I could go get the single item from the shelf and he said "if you want." I grabbed the item and brought it back, the associate says "I have to mark it as picked up" and he then proceeds to RING IT UP AGAIN and tell me I owed $45 and change !!! I had to tell him again, that it was pre-paid online !

This is a nice, friendly, clean, comprehensive PetSmart. They take special orders for things. The people go out of their way to be helpful. They greet you when you come in. The staff all clearly love pets. They donate to the Glen Cove animal rescue. They're invested in the community, and they have everything you would want at significantly more favorable prices than anyone else in the area. One thing they need is an OPEN sign in the window, because the dark tinted glass makes the place look closed.

I am NEVER getting another fish from this store!!! Went here and followed all the instructions for Betta fish that they told me, including what to get, which was a great deal of equipment. I got them a tank, water conditioner, aquarium decorations for them to feel comfortable, special gravel, and two Betta fish that would be divided so they couldn't attack each other. However, two days into being introduced into their tank, they died suddenly. I called Petsmart and they blamed me for not buying special "Betta Water," which I then did and got two more fish. These fish seemed healthy when I got them, and the manager assured me that they were. But of course, 48 hours after introducing them to their tank with special water, they died suddenly. Everyone is extremely confused on how these fish could die. My family are long time Betta owners and they believe that these fish were poorly mistreated and sick when I got them. I have done countless research on Betta fish and followed their care to the letter. This store mistreats their animals and I will make it my duty to never get another pet from this store. They obviously do not take care of their fish. Betta fish are hardy animals and are not supposed to die suddenly. Be wary when entering this store!! Their supposed care of their animals is a huge FACADE. Animals are not supposed to die within two days!!!

My first time at PetSmart turned out to be surprisingly pleasant. I have been going to Petco for years and since they became very disorganized, dirty and lacking in supplies and staff I decided to try PETSMART.PetSmart was exceedingly well organized,clean ,loaded with supplies and the staff was very kind and helpful.I highly recommend this store if you have any kind of pet . Give it a try.

This is the second time I've brought my little goldendoodle Luna here for grooming and I am extremely pleased again with the end result! This is my first dog and Alanis is super friendly and informative in helping me make the best decision for Luna's grooming needs. (Do the nail grind...you won't regret it!!!) Alanis & the rest of the team are super friendly and do a great job!

This pet smart is one of the best ones I’ve ever been to! One of the workers in particular was absolutely amazing her name is Jarenny and her ID number is 681396 I had to ask her for her name an info because she was so absolutely wonderful! I had a long day an was looking at every pet store for some wax worms so many of the other pet smarts I called didn’t help me so I decided to go to the one in glen cove. Jarenny was so nice she welcomed me to the store stopped was she was doing just to help me out, she made sure to check that all the worms I bought were alive she took my stuff to the register for me. Over all after having a crazy day and trying to get some worms to go fishing with my family...she was definitely such a wonderful person and helped to make my day! Jarenny thanks again for everything!

They attempted to deny our coupon we had received through the PetSmart app, stating they only accept print coupons. The app does not have a print option. We read their policy very thoroughly and there was nothing stating they had the ability to deny coupons in such a manner. A Shady practice will not return here.

I came to this store right from the shelter after adopting a dog. And I have always shopped at this franchise. I was shocked when asking for an adoption book I was asked for the exact papers. I showed them our new pet w us and there adoption pic, new shots paperwork and photo of adoption and that still wasn’t good enough. That I need to go print and bring in when your competitor doesn’t even want to see a thing and runs to get a book and bring it to me and I was here to spend over $500 which I did. This is not what I expect from a store I’ve been a customer from for over ten years. I adopted an animal and wasn’t asking for much and was there straight from shelter with Melie my beagle.
