The camp ground was peaceful. We camped in tents and the water spigot and electricity boxes were conveniently placed. The campsites are especially great for people that want to camp and groups and have multiple campsites. The pool was amazing and it was heated when it was very cold. Bathrooms were very, very clean on top of showers also being very clean. Owners were absolutely sweet and always readily available when needed. Would definitely recommend visiting with family and friends for a fun weekend of camping. The store has little odds and ends in case you forgot some stuff, and during my stay they had a hayride for children and we're doing bingo. They also have 2 washers and 2 dryers that were reasonably priced.

We can’t say enough how much we love Country Roads. Quiet, relaxing, and well maintained. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. They have a nice selection of goods in their camp office. Looking forward to many more trips.

Kelly and Brian where so helpful; made you feel welcome, came around site throughout day to make sure everyone was ok, if we needed anything they where so accommodated.. , clean, showers, bathroom, the cabins look amazing if you want to glam camp, hiking trails; store if you forget anything ; theme nights and activities, definitely booking again soon. Had so much fun

Our 1st time there, we met friends we had not seen in 3 yrs since Taste of Country Music Fest. Big sites, spacious in between each campsite it was awesome! Nice pool, hot tub, BBQ, to honor the former owner who past away and they gave a nice tribute with a big bonfire. Very friendly and family oriented. Walking trails, dog friendly, worth the trip to the mountains (Catskills). But, don’t forget anything because you won’t be going to any close town. We will be back!

Went here with friends last weekend. The place is so awesome. Can't wait to go again. The walk around the gilboa reservoir is excellent and has wonderful views. It's merely a quarter mile away from the campgrounds. Definitely visit there. Make sure you walk all the way to the halfway point and the views will reveal themselves.

Country roads is one of my favorite spots. Peaceful is one of its greatest qualities. If you haven't been there in recent years definitely pay it a visit. The place has always been one of my favorites and in recent years many improvements have been seen. Rockland cider works opened up near the gilboa museum a few minutes from country roads. Definitely pay that place a visit while you're camping. One of my favorite things to do is lie in the field at night and stare at the Stars. I saw the space station Passover the last time I was there. Excellent for stargazing excellent for group camping excellent for peaceful relaxation.

Country Roads Campground was a wonderful experience. Diane and her office assistant were so friendly and accommodating for our large family. The grounds were well maintained and the sites we were given for tent camping were perfect! T1, 106, 104 and 102. Super spacious, great shade and peaceful. There was no one around us...we had a little slice of heaven all to ourselves. Thank you so much Diane for having us - we hope to be back again next summer.

Been going to country roads for 30 years. Both daughters went here their whole.lives well. My first 2 or 3 weeks after she was born, my second when she was about three months. Place always well run and kept safe for families by the one and only Diane who left us this year. And its still as good as ever. Cant go wrong here.

We were very happy with this campground. Our site was a large wooded site and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. Despite seeming to be in the middle of no where, there were quite a few things to do nearby. The bath house was small but clean. Good water pressure in the showers. We mainly used the portable toilets, but they were also clean. The only surprise was pay showers, but it didn't turn out to be a problem. We would definitely return.

This was our first time camping at Country Roads. Found it via google and decided to give it a try. We stayed for a week. It was amazing. Diane was so helpful, very charming and inviting. All the campers and their dogs were friendly. My daughter made a friend while there too. The pool was nice, and hot tub was a great touch. Playground was just the right size and the kids enjoyed it. The store had anything we needed so we didnt have to drive 20 minutes away to a gas station. Due to COVID the arcade room was closed, but looking in the window, seemed like it would be fun for the teenagers. Has laundry, and showers also. Our site was up in the back, with water and electric, kind of away from everything, but a couple minutes of walking to everything there. The kids could sit on the porch of the store and download movies or music via the wifi there. We checked out a day early due to personal matters. Diane gave us a credit to come back another night this season. I do believe we will be returning for a weekend before they close in October. We will also be returning next year!

We were very under impressed. One bath house/ shower for entire campground. We arrived friday around 5 and when we got to our site the first thing we noticed was the rotted out picnic table and garbage all over site. The view from our site was very pretty and the people working there were very nice and helpful. That's why a 3 star.

Very nice and quiet atmosphere. The spots are pretty spacious and you can choose from lots of shade, little shade, or no shade. Right down the street from a nice reservoir for fishing. There weren’t any activity’s for kids but it did rain the whole weekend. Would definitely go back again for a quiet camp weekend

Went to country roads as a child had many fond memories of riding my bike around and playing in the game room. 2 years ago my girlfriend and her two kids decided to drop by for the it was wonderful and they all loved it. We did not go last year because my girlfriend was pregnant and gave birth to our son in July. This year however we will be coming back and we can't wait to make great new memoriesespecially in this year with so many crazy things just to go camping sounds amazing simplistic and much needed

Quaint, quiet and private little campground snuggled in the mountains of northern New York. Beautiful views can be found around every turn on the way to it. Campground is rustic but the sites are decent size and grassy. Most sites do offer some kind of shade. Staff and owners are friendly and make every attempt to make your stay a pleasureable one.

Very gorgeous lot, lots of space, the lady was very sweet! But sadly, it suffers because of its lack of campers. 0 tenters when we were there, very desolate. But its such a gorgeous place, and a LOT of hard work went into it!I imagine it would be perfect for any camper looking to truley get away from the world.

Such a tranquil place to be, especially camping in "The Pines"Beautiful scenery down the power lines and so many local hiking attractions nearby. A great staff and some amazing owners at this campground 💙🌲

It is an amazing place to go if you are into woodsy areas. It is pretty much secluded but has a good arcade and shop along with bathrooms and a very nice pool to swim in. It has a lot of area to run and play and have fun with your family!
