We managed to visit about 6 wineries during our 2 days in the Finger Lakes. This was the first one we stopped at, and I think my favorite one as well. It wasn’t the nicest day outside, so I absolutely loved the enclosed heated patio. We were able to bring our dog, and enjoy a flight of wine while viewing the lake. The staff were very nice. This appears to be one of the only wineries we found that served some food more substantial than charcuterie. We didn’t eat here, but the food did look good!

An absolutely incredible place! The wine was fantastic - best Pinot Noir I have ever had - and the views and service were top notch. We then ventured inside for lunch, and the food exceeded all expectations! We went with the sampler platter and I’m so glad we did. Everything was so delicious - what a tasty and unique offering!

We chose Geneva, NY because it is halfway between our two families and we both really love wine. Zugibe was on the top of my list from the beginning, but I was so happy that it was just as beautiful in person as it was in the photos. We had the whole venue to ourselves, which was so great. The views were spectacular, and we got to watch the sunset during dinner. The wine was delicious--we drank rose all night. Amy was so easy to work with and her staff were so on top of it. She was flexible with us doing our rehearsal two days early, and allowed us to drop things off at the venue well in advance, which was so helpful.There was not one thing I asked Amy that she did not find a way to make it work. We originally wanted to do the dancing outside in front of the pavilion (due to weather we ended up under the tent), but Amy was so helpful and willing to make that work.We had a perfect day at Zugibe.

My partner and I got married at Zugibe's. The location is stunning - beautiful views of their vineyard and Seneca Lake while in a rustic, refined backdrop. From beginning to end, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. All communication is directly with one of the owners, Amy, so she knows exactly what is feasible for her property. She was very flexible, calm, and organized. She kept our wedding day stress-free and quickly executed a Plan B when it rained at the exact time we were supposed to have our ceremony. It is a winery, so liquor options are limited for the open bar. However, they worked with us to pick a signature cocktail, wine, and beer options. Typically only 1 wedding is booked per weekend, so I did have access to the space for first-look pictures and wedding setup. I loved my experience and highly recommend Zugibe's.

I really want to give them 5 stars, love the place, the view is spectacular, they are my neighbors, the reason for 4 stars is simple inefficiencies, on Thursday night with a fantastic singer, they have one cashier so it can take 30 minutes to get a glass of wine. Love this place and will keep coming back even with that. The food is ok, drinks are good, decent local selection of beer and cider.

Slow restaurant, If you are looking for food, go elsewhere.Ordered small meal for 2, 50 minute wait. Nice place of you are interested in drinking cheap so-so wines with great view of lake. If you are hungry, not so much.

Linda was extremely rude and whoever the curly hair lady was behind the tasting bar on sept 23 at 1:30pm . Rude to all 17 of us in fact, everyone was shocked after leaving this winery due to the horrible experience given to us by these staff. We came on a party bus and each paid for 5 tastings total and they only served 3 tastings to most of us, some got 4 tastings but not many. They rushed us out of there demanding payment for a service we didn’t receive. I questioned why they didn’t do the full tasting when we paid for it and they responded “what would you like us to do about it” and gave us nothing but attitude. We just left because they weren’t willing to resolve the issue and we’re being extremely unethical. This winery clearly has zero customer service and is all about the money. Such a horrible experience. Collecting money without delivering the service we paid for- that’s a total scam and stealing. I’d give this place -1,000,000,000,000,000 stars if i could.

Great views of the lake and beautiful tasting room with outdoor areas to sit and enjoy wine and food. Reasonably priced tasting fee $10/5 tastes. Great appetizers to try too.

We enjoyed this, but can't quite give it 5 stars. The wines were good. As well as the charcuterie. Atmosphere and views are also great! The tasting just wasn't the experience that we enjoy most: pre-designed flight and just the information on a sheet of paper.

I want to reply to the owner of Zugibe Vineyards.For your information, we were a group of 6 people( under your 8 people limit) that arrived on Monday after lunch when it was not busy. We also booked our tour with a local company that we assumed had set up a reservation in advance for our group (so I shouldn’t have had to do research to be sure we could visit your establishment). Lastly, there is under no circumstance to have received the poor service that we did. To have to stand at a tasting room counter for 10 minutes between pours while your employee talks with just one couple about her beekeeping hobby is unacceptable and unprofessional.We went with a tour group and it was very apparent that they did not want us there. The woman who did our tasting talked with only one couple and was very disinterested in doing a tasting. We waited 10 minutes between pours and were not told anything about the wines. We would not return to this winery when there are so many others to visit.

Terrible service. The "server" stuck her hand in my face after seeing a wine coupon.....moved on to the tent (where I was sent to).and served red wine that wasn't even close to being as smooth as vinegar. Advice-go there only if it's the last place open.

Had an amazing experience at Zugibe! Scout and Sarah were the best! Both super friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make our visit special. The wine and food were great. Highly recommend sitting on the patio with a bottle of wine for a relaxing afternoon!

If you are looking for a more personalized experience, Save your time and money and Don’t stop here. The only good thing we found was the view, but we weren’t allowed to enjoy it while doing a tasting as you could not leave the bar. The servers are all friendly but young. We didn’t find the wine to be good. My friend who will drink almost anything didn’t even like their wine and dumped most of her glasses. The other issue was it was soooo loud. They had about 3-4 bachelorette parties hanging out. You felt like you were at a college bar crawl. And you weren’t allowed to leave the crowded bar if you wanted to do a tasting.Edit to reply-I actually don’t prefer sweet wines. But thank you for making the suggestion :) I did adjust my comments to be on the kinder side as I realize they come across as harsh. I appreciate the fact that people are attempting to find people to work. I didn’t feel that the amount of help was an issue-they had a lot of help. It was still very crowded and busy.

Great dry wines with unique varieties. Every wine we tasted was delicious! Service was friendly and knowledgeable. And the views outside are amazing. We will definitely come back.Edit. We came back and service at tasting was terrible. Spilled our wine, didn’t refill, and didn’t explain any of the wines. Was very slow after we finished each tasting.

Attempted to go to Zugibe Vineyards twice now over the past year for a birthday. The first time they were getting done with flights before we got there, no big deal. When we saw their market table at the Roc Holiday Village we told them what happened and they gave us complimentary free flight slips to use when we return due to our experience, which was very much appreciated. Prior to the 2nd attempt to go back for the birthday a year later with other people we made sure we would be there on time before end of flight service. We pulled in and walked in at 3:03pm and the server informs us there is a wedding going on later and flight service is over but we can get a glass but they are closing an hour early at 4pm. No where on their website, facebook, or instagram did they state they were closing early for a wedding on September 3rd. This was an hour drive for us out to Zugibe to be told this. We would have been out before 4pm with a flight anyways, this was our first stop of the afternoon-evening. I recommend calling this place ahead to make sure they will be open if you are making a drive out there. We spent the rest of the evening across the road at a different winery since they could not accommodate us for 35-40 minutes. What is the difference between sitting there with a flight for 35 minutes vs a glass? 3 stars for the wine I did taste at the Roc Holiday Village, a bottle, and the service we received there vs the service at the actual vineyard.

This place was amazing. Amazing views of the lake. Great outdoor set up. Best of all was the food!!! Please do yourself a favor and order the chicken kabob pita sandwich with the Z fries.....absolutely amazing and the fries had basically a pound of minced garlic on them and need I say more? Just do it. You're welcome.
