Beautiful location Italian style villa with wide outdoors terrace overlooking the vineyards and the Seneka Lake. Rachel had the senior manager adjust wines prices as there were different from the ones listed on their website, and offered to try their newest chardonnay while I waited-very kind and fast professional service when you’re on the run. Compare wines prices with the website. Ask for Rachel, she will take care of you.

We had our wedding at Ventosa in July and had a truly amazing and unbelievable experience! We chose Ventosa early in our planning process for the great wine and stunning lake view and every aspect completely exceeded expectations. RJ and Deb were easy to communicate with throughout the process and very accommodating for any of our needs. They answered all of our questions expertly and truly made the planning process much less overwhelming. One of the hardest parts was our food tasting, because everything was so delicious, and all of the food came out amazing on our wedding day as well. They also did a great job working with our vendors, particularly our florist, in helping to make sure everything got set up and looked amazing. We also wanted a sunset picture with the tree and lake backdrop and Deb helped us make that happen by getting us a golf cart to go from the dining room to the photo spot and back as quickly as possible. We are so happy we chose Ventosa as our venue, and can't wait to go back as a married couple!(Photos by Jill Studio)

What a beautiful and tranquil winery with a Lovely staff and view. We ordered the cheese and cracker board. Didn’t really care for the salty cheese but everything else made up for it. Grapes adorn this beautiful tray. Everyone from the person doing Wine Tasting to where we ordered our food, were helpful and went above and beyond for us. Gentleman even brought us each a refreshing glass of ice water without asking for it💕 Thank you!

Enjoyed the eclipse at Ventosa Vineyard and Sandy made it such a special event for our group. She had great recommendations on the incredible wines made by Jeff. I really enjoyed the Silver Chardonnay and the Dolce Bianco. Sandy went out of her way to set us up with a tour from Jeff. The tour was very interesting and we got to taste wine right out of the barrel. What a special event for our group. We will definitely be back!

We got married here and we can’t say enough positive things about Ventosa. They are such a high quality venue for such reasonable prices. The staff is incredible, the views are breathtaking, and the food is delicious. The vibe of their ballroom inside is so warm and the space fit our family very well (you could have as little as 80 people and as much as a few hundred and still be comfortable in that room). The terrace is so nice for people wanting to enjoy a nice evening or take a break from dancing. The dance floor is huge, which was perfect for our family!RJ and Kelcie were both so professional, attentive, and easy to contact throughout the whole wedding process, especially throughout postponing for two years. During the actual ceremony and reception, every worker we interacted with was so nice and on top of everything. They basically thought of everything before we even had to ask. They are flexible budget wise and they helped us put together and set up all of our decorations the day of (and helped us to store things until we could pick them up the morning after). They can also basically accommodate almost any request and would offer suggestions, recommendations, etc. when we asked for help. We would recommend Ventosa to anyone getting married.

A beautiful property with a stunning backdrop of the lake and rolling vineyards.Delicious full bodied reds and refreshing Crisp whites. Loved their 2017 Sangiovese and their 2019 Lemberger.Great value for money at $10 for 5 wine tasting.The tasting could have been made more intimate and refined with seating options and a more knowledgeable sommelier/ host.

What a beautiful vineyard! I was here for a wedding and it was absolutely wonderful. The property, vineyard, restaurant and ball room are all magnificent. The customer service is amazing and the food is so good. I love the whole ambiance with this venue. You will not be disappointed when visiting Ventosa Vineyards.

What an absolute incredible experience. Heard about Ventosa from Peter at Smokin' Tails. Wine maker Jeff is extremely passionate about his craft and I can't wait for what is to come from him. Sandy was amazing, providing top tier recommendations and guidance. A must visit!

What a beautiful day after the rain had passed through Geneva! My husband's and my experience there was wonderful. The place is absolutely picturesque. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, especially Sandra at the wine bar and a server whose name sadly escapes me. We had a pizza and a panino, and they were great quality. The charcuterie board might be a little overpriced versus what you get, not to mention how it was brought out only seconds before our main meal. Overall, we still loved it. We tried a flight of wines each and got 3 bottles to take home, including the Saggio XII. From the food to the views to the lovely crowd to bring it all to life, Ventosa was definitely worth the 2 hour drive to get there. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Without a doubt, the facility is gorgeous and the elevated terrace with vineyard and lake views are lovely. Wish we had had lunch here! We hear the pizza is amazing. We did a tasting with the Chardonnay, dry Reisling, Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet. None of them stood out so we had a glass of the semi-sweet Reisling, sat on the terrace and enjoyed the views.

I really enjoyed watching and taking in the eclipse at this vineyard, but it seems like the setting is their best feature. The wines lacked the depth and flavor that I typically seek out, especially the rose. I took one sip, and it lacked tartness and flavor. I ended up returning it to the counter, to which I received an entire production of speaking to two team members, one whom the problem was escalated to and whom I received an unneeded straight lipped, harsh toned lecture from, stating that "they don't normally do this" and "that they're making an exception" when I asked to exchange it for another wine. Honestly, they made me feel terrible for just being a customer trying to give some input, in what I felt was a kind and gentle way. A simple, "I'm so sorry that you didn't enjoy the wine, and we'd be happy to make a one time exception to exchange it" would've sufficed, and would've not made me feel as demeaned for simply speaking up. Service goes a long way, especially when your product is lacking.

Very nice staff but tipping seemed odd when I served myself. The food was all heated by microwave as we heard the “ding”. For a Tuscan winery you would think something would be fresh. It all would have been fine as I realize we are in NY not Italy but the price demands that you do better!!! $80 for one sandwich, one bowl of soup and two glasses of NY wine plus a tasting. We were disappointed! The view is nice.Thanks for responding, but I had no option to tip after “all of this service” as I had to tip as I ordered and paid at the counter. I could not tip after eating this food. Yes, inflation has troubled us all but it shouldn’t affect quality. I eat out often and the prices charged could have bought me steak dinners for both of us with drinks.

Ventosa Vineyards is the best kept secret in New York State. The views, the food, the staff, and the staff leadership team are second to none when it comes to professionalism, quality, support, and execution. I had my wedding this summer and highly recommend Ventosa Vineyards as a wedding venue. RJ and Cathy will not disappoint. I've never met people more dedicated to ensuring you have the best day of your life. The food tastes like "Grandma's Sunday Dinner" and the wine was fantastic.We continue to come back for lunches and wine tastings and hope you will to. I really don't even have the words to describe how grateful I am for the amazing job RJ, Cathy, the staff, and Ventosa Vineyards as a whole provided. To simply put it, the best place to get married in New York State.

Just went for lunch, not for a wine tasting. The cafe/tasting room is two stories tall and need much better sound proofing. With most of the tables full and the tasting bar going, it was very loud. The second problem was flys, we were constantly pestering us. Probably following people coming in from the wine deck. Ordering was odd, first you grab a menu and marker by the entrance. Then find a table, use the marker to add the table number and check off what you want to eat and drink. Then take the menu to a counter and pay. When ready they bring your food to the table. The escarole and bean soup was tasty but very salty. The grilled chicken wrap was also very good. The pre-teen in our group thought the Classico pizza was ok. I also thought it was pretty expensive, maybe 15 - 20% higher than a equivalent meal in downtown Geneva.

Went to a total eclipse party that was 60 a person for VIP. Got a mediocre dinner with a calzone or rice balls with one side. No wine included all cash bar and wine is terrible. Not worth price at all. Do your research before doing any event at this winery.

Ventosa was a great stop for me as an out of state visitor. The view is beyond gorgeous and the wine is great. We had lunch and did a tasting. My favorite wine was the Lemberger. It had a great full body with peppery finish which I love. Thomas also did a great job of guiding us through the tasting and explaining each wine to us. Would definitely recommend this stop for anyone!

A beautiful place with a water view. They specialize in dry wines but have other offerings. Kathy did a fantastic job with our tasting. The patio overlooks the vineyard and the lake. There is a small cafe if you’re hungry. There is also a large banquet facility. If you don’t have time for a lot of stops on your wine tour, go here and you won’t need to go anywhere else.

Arrived at 3pm, not served dinner until almost 7. We had to put our own table cloth on the table. Hostess was very rude. Of 3.5 million views on Google. This is my first 1 star. Horrible experience.Update: Ventosa did email me. Hopefully they make some operational changes to give you all a better experience. Food and wine is worth the visit.

Initially thought it was going to be good but there was no direction during the wine tour and we didn't stay because of the wine server because of her attitude!! Was looking forward to trying a new place 😔Update: I wrote an email about our experience and received a free wine tasting and it was phenomenal!! We have been back since and have enjoyed our time each time!! They have worked on their wine tour delivery and it has been great to go back, thank you for making our experience awesome!!

This winery has a gorgeous outdoor view of the vineyard in the back. If this is your first time wine saying you’re in luck! This is an unpretentious environment with a tasting of 5 wines of your choice for $10. Finding the wine you like most is great when it comes to the food. We had two pizzas to go with a glass of our choice. We had the pesto pizza and meat lovers. This is a great spot for family and friends! Service was wonderful and the wait was not long!
