Doesn’t have a great selection. Donations are closed half the time I try to donate. Had a huge load today of really nice furniture, housewares , and kids toys. A lot of stuff in new condition. But again donations closed. Will have to find somewhere else to donate. Which is unfortunate because this is a great location. But too unreliable.

It’s a decent store, prices are good compared to what they charge in PA, selection is so-so. No men’s Jeans whatsoever, and didn’t see any men’s shoes or jackets either, just suits and sweaters. Had to wait 10 minutes to get in, only so many people are allowed in due to COVID, not their fault.

We stopped here on our way back home from Canandaigua. The deals we got for some clothes and misc. items were incredible. The place was so neat and organized, unlike our hometown one. The kitchen furniture was staged so nicely with dishes and candles on the tables. The woman working there at the register was so friendly and pleasant.

We shop here frequently and always find nice odds and ends. They are absolutely the cheapest secondhand store especially for clothing. They run weekly specials discounting whole groups of items using a color coded tagging system. They prefer cash, cards charge stores fees so stop at the atm first.

The staff can come off as snooty at times. For example I bought a pair of jeans that were in my size. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic I couldn't try them on in the dressing room as it was closed off. I didn't examine the pants thoroughly, which apparently I should have. Turns out the zipper was broken. So a few days later I brought them back and brought it to the managers attention. The salvation army's policy is that all sales are final no exceptions. I made my case that under the circumstances I couldn't try them on and the average person doesn't go through and hardcore examination of donated clothes. She agreed and allowed me to make an exchange of the same value that I paid for the pants which was $7.99 (although I would've rather have had the $7.99 in cash). I got a decent variety of things so I can't complain about that. But what I will make an issue about is the managers tone which was, "fine but I'm not happy about it".

Great prices for 2nd hand items. If you follow the color tag sales, you can get a ton of stuff for dirt cheap. My only complaint is you have to really look at each item, as some clothing has holes or are too worn out. Besides that, our family has always had excellent luck here. It's a good sized store with plenty to choose from. Great for those on a very tight budget.

Have been here before and the selection wasn't as expansive. Tried to come since their other location closed and barely made it past the doors and was rudely asked twice by woman that saw me just enter the building "Did you just come in?" I was going to ask her where certain inventory was but didn't get a chance too before being shuffled out the door because they apparently had a line that wasn't marked and somehow I was supposed to know information not disclosed in any manner other than her rudeness. I had my two year old and have not been asked anywhere else since he is too young for the mandate if he had a mask by this woman as well. Horrible experience. Didn't even shop because of it. Not worth the ambience.

In general, I love thrift stores because you just never know what you can find. Places like Salvation Army and Goodwill are for good causes and don't jack up their prices like boutique "vintage" places so it's a win win in my book!I was able to find a nice gray DKNY hi-low trench coat with no signs of wear for $8.99. Not too shabby!Employees were really nice and the place was fairly organized.

Among other local Salvation Armys, the Geneva one is a good size with a nice selection of clothes, knock knacks, furniture, etc. Convenient dressing rooms and friendly staff round off the pluses of this location. I definitely come here more often than to the Canandaigua one which you might think would be better, but isn't! This Geneva store is pretty busy most any day and time I come, but the service and selection is always great.

This is a clean, friendly store well stocked with clothing and household goods. Prices are low and the selection isn't particularly upscale but there are many choices for the whole family, especially in casual wear.Clothing is arranged by color and not by size, so be prepared to check labels and try things on. If you have time to browse, you'll probably find treasures.

Found lots of goodies! Wednesday is the best day to go for clothes because 4 colors were half off, red green yellow and blue. They price clothes with colored tags and every day at least one color is half price.

Got a voucher from the CAP office for clothing after my family lost everything in a flood. They didn't honor the voucher. They do nothing for the community

As I have found to be the case with all Salvation Army Retail Stores I have been to and shop at, the Geneva store has a very pleasant staff and great prices. I've saved a fortune shopping there :-)

Dirty store. Parking lot and donation area always filled with broken glass and junk, not in a dumpster just on the ground all around. Smells gross too.
