They have a fantastic selection of drinks and we tried the pomegranate martini - highly recommend this!Mushroom soup - Creamy mushroom soup with a string flavor of red wine! Sprinkled with the perfect amount of blue cheese which tied the whole thing together.Mussels - in the most incredibly flavorful Dijon tarragon cream sauce (think it had a string taste of fennel in there as well). To die for!!Mahi - cooked well but a touch under seasoned. Served with saffron rice and roasted veggies and garlic. Loved the combo!Tandoori Chicken - tandoori chicken was missing a bit of tartness and the rice was a little harsh (spices weren’t cooked through enough imo). Regardless, the dish was incredible and I would highly recommend it! Served with some pita. I think the dish could’ve used or some freshness with a mint or cilantro chutney.

Ports Cafe was a very good restaurant during our recent Finger Lakes trip. The service was fast and congenial, and I appreciated the easy reservations and ample parking. The decor inside was standard fare, but it was lively on a weekday night. The food options were similarly fairly standard, but everything we tried was good to great, and the wine options were delicious.

What a gem of a restaurant. Outstanding food and exceptional service from Ruby.Nice decor that was warm and intimate. There is a bar area and a large indoor seating area.There were so many choices on the menu but we decided to go with the specials. I selected the burnt brisket ends with mac & cheese and pickled veggies. Karen went with the flank steak and scallops.We both loved our dinner, well seasoned and cooked to perfection.If you are looking for fine dining with fresh ingredients, then this place is for you.I do recommend making a reservation. You wouldn't want to miss out.

Our experience was fantastic. The place is very cozy. We were lucky to get a reservation on the same day. Our server at Billsboro winery actually told us to come here over anywhere in Geneva, and we were not disappointed. We had the mussels and they tasted great. I wasn’t a huge fan of the “chunky”-ness of the sauce, I’m a fan of just a great broth with little extras when it comes to mussels. I chose the pork special and my fiancé had the gnocchi. Both were excellent but the pork was better. This place is worth a stop for sure!

New in the area & my bf took me here for my bday dinner. Staff were very nice & accommodating, did not have to catch her, stopped by our table from time to time to check on us. Food were amazing as well, octopus appetizer is a must try! & their crème brulee is one of the best I’ve had. Kinda had a glance of the lake view . Will definitely come back & take my friends here when they come visit me!

Friendly staff and great service.Our reservation was 8:30; we arrived early and they accommodated us seated us 15 minutes earlier.The white sangria looked delicious and it was. Buffalo cauliflower was tasty, the beet salad was ordinary but fresh. It could use a little bit more dressing.The short rib of the gnocchi was tender. The gnocchi was doughy and different; I’m not sure if I like it or not. Penne with meatball was good.Midnight mocha chess cake was delicious but doesn’t taste like cheese cake to me, more like a mocha cake.

Fantastic dining experience. A friend recommended Ports Cafe to us. This gem sits all alone on the road but looks are deceiving as the food was amazing. We started with cocktails and apps, moved along to main courses which were all perfectly prepared, and finished with dessert and coffee. Everything was wonderful. We hope to be back!

If I have to travel to Upstate New York to eat a (very well) seasoned meal, so be it. I had the Delmonico Steak and let's just say plans are already being made to visit again. This place is good. Want to change your life? Get the mushroom tart and the calamari-shrimp fry. My word, it was divine. If the drinks and dessert matched the apps and entrées, I would have given 5 stars. Go make your reservation- you're welcome.

I dream about the 10 hour short rib ragu and gnocchi. The staff are excellent and the flavor never misses. Seriously, anything you can think to order will likely be a hit.My only regret from my time in Geneva is not eating here more often.

Came here with a couple of girlfriends during our winery weekend. We all left super satisfied, could not have been happier. The food was so flavorful and delicious, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything. The brie app was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted and I don’t typically enjoy brie. The scallops, salmon, and gnocchi were all amazing choices and would highly recommend!

We had 7pm reservations for 4 of us on Saturday night. It was busy when we arrived but we’re seated right away near a wonderful fireplace.We each ordered cocktails that were delicious. The specials menu was pretty large and in combination with the regular menu, so many choices. We ordered the tandoori chicken, salmon, mani, and a large salad. Everything was delicious but the tandoori chicken was AMAZING.I finished the meal with the chocolate martini which was a lovely ending.Everything was wonderful and cozy and delicious- thank you!

Too busy eating all of the amazing food we ordered to take photos but I included some of the exterior and interior.my husband and I were spending our honeymoon in the finger lakes and we stumbled across ports café. I am so thrilled that we found this spot because the food here was seriously to die for. Looking forward to our next trip out because we will definitely be making this a stop on our list!

A fantastic experience start to finish! The specials are quite numerous, you can't go wrong. The mussels were great, the scallops were huge and delicious, the steak was perfectly done, the short rib was tender and flavorful, the gnocchi were perfect homemade pillows! And please... For the love of all things holy, do yourself a favor and order the caramel cheesecake for dessert, I don't know if I've ever had a better dessert. Can't wait to come back!!

Fantastic food and great ambiance. I had the delicious winter salad (greens, apples, walnuts, cramberries, feta with raspberry vinaigrette) and the unbelievably mouthwatering ricotta gnocchi with red wine braised short rib. The best gnocchi I've had outside Italy, every bite was heaven! The chocolate gnache torte with raspberry was a great ending. Jade was a great server. Excellent menu choices, get here!

Hands down one of the best steaks I've had in my life. Perfectly cooked. Extremely tender. The Bacon burgundy butter took it to a whole new level. Calamari was so tender and well seasoned. The best part overall though was Caralyn. Great service. Very attentive without being overly such.It wasn't just food, it was an experience and it showed.

Our meals were absolutely delicious! We had mushroom ragout and burrata for appetizers, flank steak and scallops and mahi for entrees, and Texas skillet cake for dessert, and they were all excellent. Good variety, well-made food, lovely ambiance. Definitely make a reservation in advance - it’s an open secret how good this place is!

This was one of the most underwhelming/embarrassing dinners I’ve ever had. I am completely at a loss for how this establishment has high reviews. First off, no lake view, but you get a nice view of the parking lot. First course lobster ravioli was literally 3 floppy noodles with 2 completely empty and 1 having the smallest amount of filling only $16. Strike one. Salads were subpar with the Caesar lacking much dressing and abnormally small hard croutons topped with a random baguette? House salad was also bland. Panera would be 5 stars compared to what I was given. The main course was the Delmonico and flank steak and 2 measly scallops. Now, look at the photos and tell me which one was medium and which one was medium rare. You guessed it, both could still be brought back from the dead. How any type of “chef” could possibly serve a steak that was supposed to be medium looking like either of these showed should be swimming with the fishes at the bottom of lake Seneca. Around $90 for this entry level culinary school dish. Actually these dishes probably would be denied entry for any culinary school. Strike 2. Our server was basically a military robot with less then 0 personality. Strike 3. If this is the standard of Geneva then this shows the true lack of any exquisite palate in this area. A very pathetic display of “culinary arts” at this overpriced establishment.

Nice place, drove by the parking lot the day before and it was packed with cars. A waiter at "Kindred Fare" and locals told us the place is fabulous. Large servings, pricey. Like "Kindred Fare" they like to use local ingedients. We made reservations, and I highly recommend reservations, because it get very crowded. Good food though. I had pan seared scallops, garlic mashed potatoes and skirt steak, my spouse had a shrimp and linguini in a Thai sauce.

Where to begin? Parking is ample and handicap accessible! Reservations highly recommended, once we got there, we were seated promptly as soon as we arrived for our 1700 reservation!The service was SUPERB! Our server AJ was an absolute delight! Not only was he courteous but he was extremely personable!The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD GREAT! The T-Bone steak (biggest slab of meat they have) was cooked to perfection just as ordered (Medium). Melt in your mouth EVERYTHING, from clams and Salmon to the orange-ginger creme brulee and chocolate torte. AJ stated he was encouraging the proprietor to open a restaurant in Victor, NY. We sincerely wish that they do! AJ stated that he is being exposed to different facets (from the kitchen to serving) of becoming a restaurateur himself. It was CLEAR AJ had a zeal for the job he was doing and was enthusiastic, taking pride in his profession, not just going through the motions.We joked about him opening up his own restaurant... Let's just say we were thoroughly impressed by the young man!To the proprietor: BRAVO!The food was SPECTACULAR words cannot describe! This is undoubtedly a MUST EAT AT RESTAURANT❗
