I stopped going here cause it was so nasty.Well I stopped there today and the new manager has that store looking really good. The floors are not black anymore, the aisles are not cluttered with boxes, there is no trash on the floor. The shelves are actually stocked. Sammie is doing a great job changing this store around.

I purchased 6 canned peaches and the shelf tag said 1.30 for 15 ozs. Got to my sons home and noticed they charged me 2.10 a can. I highlighted the price I paid went there the next morning and the tag still says 1.30 so I took a pic so they can reimburse me the difference. The manager gave me the hardest time ever and said there was nothing she could do. I said is this where I call corporate and she looked at me and said her workers were not able to change the labels because of covid🤔👎🤨 not acceptable. So she finally agreed to do the refund and override the price. Since I used the peaches last night she said unfortunately she could not do it. I laughed and grabbed a can off the shelf and said here use this can. This lady said she was the manager & acted this way to a Customer like this. I'm glad I was just visiting. The store was filthy and looks run down. Nothing like our Texas stores for sure!

Filthy. I am astounded this is an open business. With the amount of dirt, mulch, and other trash on the floors, you can hardly walk safely through this place. Shelving units hanging from walls, displays broken and empty. Wonder if their corporate knows of the dilapidated conditions. I left after about 30 seconds of being there.

The staff were loud and yelling across the store about how they dont get enough days off, the store was very cluttered andni could not go down a few aisles, the floor was very dirty, product everywhere, cardboard and plastic on the ground, the carts were all in bad shape... The gentleman at the counter was very sweet despite the earlier antics of shouting back and forth to his coworkers. I dont think I will be back there for a long while.

Literally the most disgusting and messy store I've ever been in. I was compelled to write this review. Waited forever for someone to cash me out but he was too busy smoking outside. I left without buying anything. Stuff is outside and appears to have been sitting outside for a long time.

Seems like an employee made the review. Which is funny. Go to the store filthy disgusting, employees are always on their cell phones, talking loudly about their personal lives, including swearing. Very unprofessional.... the gentleman whom I was told was the manager is always outside right in front of entrance smoking cigarettes. Leading by example, so wonder how that makes employees actual good employees. Lets be honest here go in the store and see for yourself, I will never be returning there and I will be telling everyone I know about my experiences there and sending them to an actual professionally ran family dollar. .. which I take the drive to go to rather than step foot in that trashhole.....-----> Phelps is amazing. GENEVA store is complete trash ... and if you see it other wise then you probably live trashy. @christina bender. five starrrrrsssss????? Maybe you got away with stealing, from permission from management or employees as I also have witnessed employees stealing. Once had a cashier tell me to just pocket an item and to not worry about it. Professional? I think not so yeah leave it to the staff to take care of theft.Phelps store go to Phelps worth the drive much more professional and organized with a friendly/helpful staff. And an amazing manager, not sure his name.

Just always seems cluttered, disorganized and semi-dirty when I come here. The place is definitely screaming for remodelling of some sort or an overhaul. On the bright side, the staff is normally courteous, friendly and fast.

Can find most of what you can expect there. Shame that not everything's just a dollar, like in the old days. Even green army men are $3.50, which is unbelievable. But oh well, I really went in for Coca Cola and a big bag of chips, I just wanted to comment on the army men toys. Some say it was always like that, but i say it wasn't, you know?

Manager is very rude!!! She wanted me to leave my babies opened formula and bag with wipes and diapers in the front of the store so i walked out... U need to get better associates and or managers or assistant managers for real..... Thats why yall ratings are low now! My job dont even make u do that and i work at walmart smfh

Honestly it's sad to see all these reviews... TBH ya should be thankful to even have a family dollar around... The store does not smell like pee... Wut a ridiculous accusation... Grow up... Be thankful of the convenience... There always could not be a family dollar in this town... N on the stealing note leave that to the store to deal with... Just because that happens doesn't make the store automatically a terrible place... Especially if it smells like pee... U all say it like ppl r pissing all over the store... Wut y'all need is a strong shot of honesty shut hell up or don't shop there as simple as that... The staff is friendly n helpful so regardless of a piss smell or stealing the store is a good place to shop...

The store is absolutely filthy. I guess they figure since it's in a low income neighborhood they don't have to give it the up keep for the people spending their hard earned money

The parking lot is a disgrace, full of trash. Went in expecting to buy detergent, etc. They were no carts except for one filled with loaves of bread. I asked where the carts were and they answered we don't have any. bye bye.
