Wedding review- OK let me just say if you like to talk flowers then Vicki is your girl. This was a destination wedding and dons own came highly recommended to me. The contact I had was Vicki. She knows flowers and knows weddings so well. She is very good at guiding you to your perfect flower choices. They will help keep you at your budget and also they came out to my venue to attend me and my ladies throughout the ceremony which was lovely!The vases and arrangements were simply gorgeous- really quite over the top. They are a small business that made every choice an easy one.

What a GREAT find! It slipped my mind to get wrist corsages for my daughter and the friend she was going with to their senior prom -- I was in a panic and could find no one in my immediate locale who could make up a couple of quick corsages on short notice. I broadened my search and found Don's Own -- which is where I will go for all of my floral needs from now on. Not only did the corsages get made up in 3 hours (thank you to the staff because it's Mother's Day w/e and I can only imagine the crush!), but they are without doubt the most beautiful I've ever ordered! I appreciated the fact that staff asked what the dresses looked like and the color theme -- showed they cared and understood that the wrist corsages reflect the dress. I've attached a pic so you can see how stunning the results were. Thank you, Don's. See you soon! (PS: Any store that has a friendly dog amble out to greet customers guarantees an automatic return visit from me!)

Don't usually write reviews, except for above and beyond service or product. Cant let this go though.Ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday. Visited her today. I just laughed. Glad it wasn't someone besides family that could politely chuckle too. A small arrangement, perhaps 12" high(greenery) w 2 roses, a wilting orange daisey and a few little buds. Wish I knew how to post a picture. 92 bucks. I'd be embarrassed. I know I was for sending them. Sorry. But it was that bad. $35 @ Price Chopper would have been a better option. Oy vey. Lol

I placed an order for an arrangement that I saw a picture of online, which I have done several times, only to be disappointed in the actual piece delivered. Don's was able to recreate the item exactly as it appeared! I was so happy to have selected Don's for my order and will definitely use them in the future! Great service! Vicky was above our expectations of what we needed from a wedding florist. She sat down with us for over an hour to discuss every fun and creative way flowers can up our wedding game. We ended our consolation trying out truffles that we plan to use as our wedding favors. Our story doesn’t end there. As we familiarized ourselves with downtown Geneva every boutique shop, bakery and restaurant had excellent things to say about Vicky. We strongly recommend stopping into Don’s Own Flower Shop and meet her for yourself.

I used Don's Own for the bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres for my wedding. I am from out of town and spoke with Vicky several times over the phone. They produced the bouquets exactly as I wanted them and gave a lot of good advice on bouquet size and flower types. Two things that knocked it down a star were that I only wanted greenery in some of the boutonnieres and despite reiterating that, there were small flowers in them, I was not charged the flower price, but wanted the greenery for the look, not to save money. The main communication was also by phone, which became a bit frustrating as I would have liked more in writing and email is just more convenient for me. I cannot comment on price as I did not compare to anyone else, but they stayed within my budget that I set for them at the beginning. Pick up was easy and overall the final product was beautiful and exactly as I envisioned. I simply can't recommend Vicky and her staff enough! Vicky spent so much time with us going over every detail for the big day! The floral arrangements she put together were breathtaking. I cannot express how happy I am with Dons Own Flower Shop. They made our wedding perfect!!First, the staff is INCREDIBLE. To say that the ladies that work there are kind people is an understatement.Vicky and her staff did such an amazing job setting up the flowers, making the arrangements and working with my husband and I on every, single detail. We gave a number for our budget and of course, Vicky worked with us to make sure we stayed in the budget while ensuring that we got exactly what we want.Lastly, I would like to mention that we wanted the flowers donated after the reception. It’s always appreciated when the less fortunate or elderly are given a little bit of love. At request, they will pick up the flowers next day and donate locally!If you are in the market for a florist who does the BEST work, look no further!

They help us pick out a beautiful fruit/snack basket with all mom and grandmas favorites they added in truffles for grandma and chips for mom. In my experience in other places, I've felt that supporting local business can often be more of a good will gesture than a better purchase value, compared to your favorite web store and delivery driver. But sometimes local stores are surprising, and when that happens it's pretty great for everybody and don't we all wish for more honest local shopping. Don's own is a nice store, you can wander quietly; nice people and nice service in the wings if you want them, for about the same price you'd pay on line. Don's flowers lasted longer, and I handed them my own card to deliver with them. You can't do that on the internet yet, can you?Add Don's Own to the count of better shopping in Geneva than on-line.
