Store employee by the name of Antonio was beyond rude & nasty, for absolutely no reason at all. As he began to ring up my items, I asked him about some of the sale prices, he responded very nasty yelling I don't know. Then I informed him that he ring up the fabric softener twice, he said oh well I did. At that point I requested a manager, he said she's on her break & I'm not going to bother her. He proceeded to cash me out, stating your total is on the screen. I informed him that it didn't give me the option to enter my phone number for my digital coupons. He said oh well again & that you had the whole night to enter your phone number. I told him that the key pad never gave me that option from the time he started ringing items up, it just requested my card. I asked for the manager again, he refused. So I walked outside where she was & explained what had happened. She did apologize & came to finish the transaction. The very items I was askimg him about, actually ring up the wrong price. His behavior was totally unacceptable & uncalled for. I honestly believe it's because I was African American, not once did he treat or talk to the white people like that, who he checked out before & after me. I will drive over to DG in Waterloo before I return back to the Geneva one. In addition to that the aisle had boxes in them, which could easily cause someone to slip & fall.

A lot of winter items are 50% off...so I think that has led to the mess on the floors. Kind of hard to navigate with a cart. What makes it even tighter is the carts of restock items they leave in the back aisle. A lot of items are a better price than Walmart. Definitely worth looking into.

This is a great store. I am happy with the inventory as well as the prices.Have a few items that you want to purchase but don't have the time to fight the crowd over at Walmart? The Dollar General is the place.

STAY AWAY! An employee there tried blaming me for hitting him in the parking lot. Claiming he was in the crosswalk, he walked into the side of the vehicle and smacked the mirror with his hand. There was a crosswalk there, barely visible, and the even the police agreed that they obviously haven't had the lines painted since they built the place. I didn't even know there was a crosswalk there, that's how faded they were. The managers came out and they were all in cahoots, trying to collaborate their story. Fortunately, the police saw right through everything.

To Whom it may concern:--I am a frequent customer to the Dollar General store in Geneva, NY, I am consistently impressed with the volume and variety of the products offered........amazingly complete on what you have for purchase.--I am, also, consistently impressed at the customer service provided as a patron. Dierra, in particular, is friendly, helpful, cheery and readily answers questions when they arise. She has a friendly personality and she "smiles " !!!!! The other staff is helpful, too, but she seems to stand out as one of the outstanding employees at this site. She is "a keeper" !!!--Also an important point is location. I've been here multiple times. I live and am willing to travel from Stanley. Although I would feel that their clothing can be cheap in terms of quality and price, I always buy all my medicine deodorant, soap and detergent here. Good prices and people and always well stocked with good selection. I have also discovered that the cashiers are very friendly and helpful. All and all probably the nicest of their stores I've been to.

Store is a mess. Clutter in every single aisle and many products out of stock. I have to walk away from my cart to get to the shelves. On the plus side, the staff is always friendly and helpful.

It gets 5-stars because of the size of this store. The lone cashier was very friendly and tried to maintain a sense of humor despite being overwhelmed by a sudden crush of people. The store is a bit cramped, but they had items that the one in my town did not. The Frozen foods section seemed a little small, but that could have been because of its position in the store. Everything seemed stocked and the store was neat. It was just tightly packed.

The store manager Mike seem not to know a lot of stuff about the store he manages and it is very crowded as well and the clothes need to be put in order and sizes to find what we need I didn't like my experience at all and also they need more then one register open at a time at all times if there is more then 4 people in a line some people do have lives to get back to like work and should be a bell to ring if no one is near the front to see people standing at the register as well I'm sorry but I am not happy with how the store is ran and or the people in it and their attitudes because they think we should be waiting for them

The woman Sharyl was very rude. Refused to give me a bag for my items and told me that they are going to start charging for their bags because people waste them. She was VERY rude and unpleasant. I'm glad I don't live in this area because I can't stand rude employees. Won't be stopping here again.

I stopped in for batteries in an emergent need. I had stopped in to the Clifton Springs Dollar General and ALL their batteries were out dated. Needless to say, we kept driving on our way. When we saw another Dollar General in Geneva, I hesitated but stopped anyway. I was thrilled to find a clean store with batteries that didn't expire for years. Kudos to you! It shows that just because of one bad store, not all are equal.

Dollar General in Geneva NY was and was very nice and polite. I had shoulder surgery and they helped me put heavy stuff in my cart and also put it in my car. Thank you to the staff there.
