2 recliners purchased on 11/08/2023 from Geneva store with Allstate extended warranty. One recliner was totally inoperable by 12/15/2023. Reciept and website clearly state returns accepted until 1/15/2023. Took broken recliner back to Geneva on 12/30/2023. Asst. Mgr. P. Blake refused return and stated I had to go through Allstate. I ask to exchange under Return Policy for another recliner which receipt states is 1/15/2023. I was rudely refused. Blake never offered to look at the recliner in my van. As I spent the next hour and a half in the store online and on the phone with Allstate and Big Lots customer service, Blake and another associate made snide comments about me while they assembled a gazebo.In the end, I was able to get to the point of filling a claim with Allstate. However, they are now saying it is a manufacturer defect issue and go through Big Lots.Big Lots customer care stated while I was in the store that the store should return under the policy on the receipt and a 1 yr manufacturer warranty. They are escalating my complaint.During the entire time at the store, Asst. Mgr. Blake maintained an arrogant and rude attitude, saying I refused to accept their policy. Even though everything I have in writing from Big Lots and Allstate contradicts him.Buyer beware of purchasing furniture and Allstate warranty at Geneva store.Update: Stopped today at the Geneva store to figure out the manufacturer and warranty of the recliner. The recliner on the floor had no tags listing manufacturer or warranty. Staff today have no idea who makes it or the warranty but agree it should have been exchanged at the store. They advised me to follow up with the store Manager R. Warmerdam.

I do not recommend this place at all it's corrupt all down to the management with the returns and the whole store is only kids and this one woman she said her name was deb she was really rude to me when I was trying to buy furniture she was very snappy please fix the management

Not a bad chain store, and not the best. I'm not sure of the quality of a lot of their merchandise, but we have found what l thought were some pretty good deals.

We traveled an hour and a half to come to the Geneva Big Lots for a couch our hometown Big Lots did not have in stockWe had the best experience with Chris from furniture. He was kind and he helped us through through the process easily with no hassle like we had at our hometown Big Lots store. We appreciated the kind way he treated us and went the extra mile he went for us finding what we needed. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much chris.

I drove from Pittsford to Geneva, had to exchange a Lasko fan no other Big Lots had in stock. Got there 4 minutes before they closed. Thank you Jason, Dan, & Awesome team! :)

On my recent visit to the store, I found it a bit empty of items. They also had a lot of boxes and merchandise in the middle of the aisles and it was difficult to get through with the shopping cart. I hope my next visit will be a better experience. The cashier was very kind.Another negative point is that the parking lot is not in the best condition.

Bought some outdoor furniture. The associate’s name was Michael, and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Worked hard for me and went out of his way to make sure got a good deal. Big Lots should give him a bonus.

Very friendly people working there. Answered all my questions. Offered to help me find just what I wanted. I would recommend shopping at Biglots. They treat their customers great. They go above and beyond to help in any way needed. Be it with carryout or checking other stores for merchandise.

Lots of deals but not much diff than other store prices. Sticker sales but they only show buy some things and couldn't tell me when prices were good. Bn same price for 2 months they said yet sale stickers r hanging.Lots of ideas to shop for tho

Just stopped in for a quick look, and bought a Christmas Tree! ( it was actually a very small decorative tree) But I love it. They have so much stuff here. Even furniture. Its worth a look. I even bought a very nice Christmas gift. You never know.

They have some pretty good products that are cheaper in price than anyone else. We bought a sectional sofa by broyhill for a couple thousand cheaper than comparable sofas elsewhere.

Wide selection of things. Good prices. Store itself is in bad shape. Many buckets everywhere and sections tapped off. Definitely needs repairs.

Very great store with nice prices. Seems to be unnoticed and not visited by many customers. Please visit this store more often to support it, or it feels like it will get closed soon. I feel sorry for all the stores closing everywhere. Soon if we gonna need something urgently there will be no stores left, will have to buy online and wait for shipping.

This is a big and decent big lots in Canada Agua New York. I like that the isles were big enough to walk through and not too cluttered with odds and ends in the middle overall I really enjoy the store the customer service people are very nice and you have a lot of options here plus grocery part of it is big and diverse

Customer service is terrible here! The staff are definitely not attentive to the needs of their customers. I try to avoid this place at all costs. Don't bother buying furniture from them either. We ordered a bunk bed and got a day bed instead. Horrible place and a horrible experience to go along. For a purchase of over $1000 I would like my product to be exactly what I ordered. Never again!!

I normally love big lots, this store pictured (geneva) is all sorts unorganized. May be better to visit after Christmas is gone and new stuff is organized.

They get in new itoms from other store close outs or what they no longer want. This way they can sell nice things fore less money. They have seasonal itoms. Some food / non alcholic drinks. Kitchen to bedroom itoms & some pet supplies. Come on in and check them out before you buy in the larger more expensive stores. You just might like what you find.
