Other than great value branded stuff not much choices one check out open been standing here 20 minutes only 2 people ahead of me but self checkout the woman was so rude I'd rather wait than deal with that ... cashier has been inspecting a recipe for 10 minutes... fortunately guy just brought her some glasses so hopefully things will speed up

Friendly employees and clean store. The fruit and vegetables never look as appealing as Wegmans but are ok. It would be nice if they put milk up front so disabled and elderly people didn't have to walk so far. ,

I purchased 4 brand new tires online for a Honda pilot and scheduled installation at the Geneseo, NY Walmart. It was simple and convenient. Showed up and installation completed. Tire pressure sensor on two of the tires were repaired. I am very satisfied with the whole transition.

With all serious I now hate Walmart. I'd like to pretend I have any other choice, but we no longer do.Asked if I could get a cashier.... a single cashier, in the whole store, but nope. We do not do that here. Back surgery 2 months ago and I just not wanted to work tonight in a small cramped self checkout with $400 in groceries (I could go on and on about inflation, but someone has to buy the execs new vacation homes).So I got to checkout all my stuff... For the first time in my life I contemplated just walking out with half my cart unpaid.Walmart drone that reads this: Know I don't hate you, but that I loathe your company and now especially this location. I'll do my best to never return, but we all know Walmart is now inescapable. I hope the world ends.

Quality and service has dropped off of late across the brand. This location is not as bad as others locally, but it's not great.There should be more cashiers. Often, there is only 1 or 2 non self serve lines open.

The Primo filtered water station is at the back of the store, which makes NO DAMN sense. Water is heavy and MOST non-Walmart locations keep them at the front of the store.

This is about the auto care center. They made me wait an hour and half AFTER my set appointment time just to tell me they don’t even carry my oil filter for my oil change. The mechanic seemed to not care and communication was terrible. I’m never coming back to this location for services again. It was a waste of my time and very unprofessional. They need to get it together.

Walmart is Walmart. Later at night is. Always better because there are less people. I do have to say the store shoppers are the worst. They just cut you off and don't care about anything but getting their items. That's my only issue for this visit at least

Clean store. But if you're in a hurry or expect to be checked out in a reasonable amount of time, I would not shop there. Lines to all the checkout are at least 30 plus min long. Not enough cashiers. Otherwise, it's a great store to shop in.

Went to the tire shop spent 2 hours there when I was told it would be half hour had 2 tires replaced and when I drove off down 390 we was vibrating stopped at another walmart in hornell was told geneseo walmart had put the lug nuts in crooked stripped everything hornell Walmart had to go to Lowe’s to get a tap and die and it’ll be going back in the shop because it’s still got vibrations

Its a standard walmart. Its gotten expensive, the lack of checkout workers and increase in self checkout is alarming. Your dollar if its grocery shopping is better spent at aldis. But you cant beat the all in one shopping at wally world.

Ill start by saying this was pretty typical of a "stereotypical walmart visit" you would see online, even though I usually have a decent experience at this one.To begin with, it was pouring rain so I parked by one of their three entrances, I walked up to it and it was locked(~3pm) so I had to trudge down the massively pot holed, very long sidewalk to the next one. On its own annoying, but not a big deal.Next, as I walked down the main aisle, I am struck by the sight and overwhelming smell of actual poop on the floor. A lot of poop. A five foot, dotted line of poop. Dog, hopefully, but who knows. There was an employee standing there, with a cleaning cart, leaning on the cart telling people "watch your step". Why not clean it up?!?! Probably some corporate rule about biohazards, but absolutely awful. Just pick it up. This was the worst part of my hour long visit.While in grocery I made my way to the end of an aisle to a single employee stocking shelves and, I kid you not, five other employees literally hanging out. Chatting, giggling, and blocking the end of the aisle. Multiple people had to turn around, they wouldnt move. Cant interrupt their paid hang sesh I guess.Lastly, I picked up a walmart branded product I was after. However on checking out I was told it needed a manager ID to buy it. The manager sees my cashier waving to her, she waves back and then walks away. He goes "Oh I guess she just went on break". Nice. So he sends me to self checkout where they can do it. They tell me the item is being recalled. When I say there is a fully stocked shelf back there, this cashier says "Yea, they wont pull them off the shelves". So now I have to walk all the way to the back, passed the POOP, which is still there, to get a different brand. Needless to say I did not do that and left.I wish I had been a secret shopper, this store would have new employees tomorrow. Management included.Do better, Walmart.

They do not answer the phone at all i tried calling 8 times and was either hung up on as soon as they picked up the phone or they just do not answer. I waited 30 minutes trying to call to see if i could do a walk in for a tire rotation because i dont want to waste my gas driving 20 minutes for nothing.

Your store is messed up my grandmother tried to pick up her package today and you guys were yelling at her Genesee Walmart the way you treated her my family and I and my friends will no longer be going to this store my grandma is over 70 years old I hope your real proud of yourselfs I'm going to the one closer to us from now on have a nice day jerks

You have two lines cashing people out. It's not our job to use self checkout. You should have enough cash registers operating to get people out without waiting in line 30 minutes. Poor management!!

Very upsetting experience.. I went to the Geneseo Walmart on 8/2 to get an oil change and do shopping. Then I ran into rollback items and found a 16 Gallon shop vac on (roll back). Then they rang it up and it came at a different price than the price it said. They called Manager "Sean" and he came to look at it and just told someone to tell me its not on roll back after I waited ten minutes. Didn't even tell me himself. I asked cashier was pricing label was wrong and they told me no. So I had to put item back after looking dumb but yet the pricing label was right and that was last one left on shelf that I was going to buy.🤷

This was the Walmart in Geneseo, so much more variety in merchandise.I will drive the 30 minute or more drive to shop there. So much bigger depts. Love that store!!

3 Weeks in a row I have ordered items for delivery to my home. Last week they forgot an item and today they forgot an item. Do better at making sure all items are accounted for before your delivery drivers take them! It would also be a great idea to answer the phone. Took me 5 tries last week to get through and I tried 4 times to day with no luck at getting through.

I couldn't find my receipt so the employee asked for my credit card that I used. He was able to find the receipt. I also was able to return pass 90 days.

Usually a good store but being low on food I made the 30 mile drive to the store only to find out they were closed on Thanksgiving. There was absolutely zero notice on the store stating they would be closed on Thanksgiving. Multiple vehicles pulled in likely for last minute shopping and had to go elsewhere because of Walmart's failing to notify people they would be closed on a day that they have always been open.04/13/24 addition: I buy almost all my food here. Came over, had $30+ of food in the cart and NO REGISTERS OPEN. I waited for half an hour for someone to get back on register and nothing. Left the store at 9:40pm after spending 10 minutes walking all round the store putting my stuff back and walked out. I have been here at 10:30pm and they have registers open. This was absolutely ridiculous to not have anyone working, they had 4 people at those worthless self checkouts where they accuse people of stealing stuff they bought but no one actually doing any work.
