I’m losing faith in this store. Constantly don’t have basic hardware items. You can’t keep using Covid as an excuse for your lack of inventory. You’re doing the local residents a disservice.

Had the equipment I needed to rent! They showed me how to start it, operate it, and turn it off. The equipment was clean and they did not have beat up old stuff, it was newer and appeared to be well maintained. I liked that this is a local place and not some huge chain rental place, I prefer to support locals when possible.

These guys are super helpful. Every time I have gone in there, they are great. From finding certain items to renting equipment, they are great!

This will be my new go-to place. Was in the store for 5 minutes (no exaggeration) and the gentleman at the counter got me exactly what I needed and cashed me out. That would have taken me 30 minutes at Lowes and a lot of headache. Thanks!

My experience with geneseo hardware and rental was awful. Dana told my husband im "incapable of making adult decisions" and he was "excited for september to be here and gone so he didnt have to deal with us anymore" simply because i reserved a larger tent and asked if it was possible to downsize after we received our final rsvp's. I'm sorry, but i paid $2,400, i expect good service! Then he was going to keep $400 of my paid in full bill for the downgrade! When the crew came and set up the tent, FOR MY WEDDING, my husband had to basically fix the whole thing because all the walls came unattached and the tent was pretty much falling down. I will never rent from this company again. Not only did they set up the tent wrong, but they delievered the wrong size and we didnt have enough room for our guests. When i downgraded, we asked for a 30x40, he delivered a 30x30. Terrible service!!!!!

The owner goes out of his way to help customers and even keeps extra hours for stragglers when he can. Very glad he is here for the locals. I would much rather go to his store than trek to Home Depot or Lowe's.

This store is my first and last stop for hardware I need in a pinch, or equipment I need to rent. Their inventory is excellent, and they're always friendly and helpful. This is a great local business. Ask for Dana.

I have rented a hydraulic auger, power washer, and most recently a wood chipper. I got the chipper to my house and started using it. Something was weird and the feed drum wasn't working well. The mechanic came out and long story short, found out the previous renters put Gas in the hydraulic fluid tank! Once they figured out the problem and found out that it had nothing to do with me, the owner gave me another day to use it without having to pay. Oh and the chipper was 1/2 the price of a local renter in mt Morris...
