Karyn at Genesee Valley Florist is an artist. When we met to discuss the flowers for our June 2022 backyard wedding, I shared my vision of wanting it all to look very organic, not particularly manicured or formal. I talked about the colors I liked, a few flowers I liked and shared a few photos from her Instagram as inspiration.Other than that, I told her I was in her hands and wanted her to just do what she does best and everything turned out beautifully -- what I had imagined but maybe could not express exactly in words. It's quite remarkable.Karyn made the whole process easy, she is a lovely human and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Karyn is the best to work with and she is so sweet. I don’t know much about flowers so I sent her a couple of photos of what I wanted and she went above and beyond my expectations while working within our budget. She brought everything to our venue the day of and I saw everything for the first time before I walked down the aisle and I was blown away with how amazing the arrangements looked.

Genesee Valley Florist did the flowers for our wedding. Through all the uncertainties and the drastic changes in numbers due to COVID, Karyn was easy to work with. We wanted locally grown flowers that looked like they could have come out of a Geneseo garden, and she went above and beyond our expectations! We sent her a few photos of the type of flowers we liked, and she took it from there. Every detail was wonderful, and she even let us drop off some of our own glassware to add a personal touch. Her prices are really reasonable and her work is true artistry.

terrible value for the $ and although Molly was very nice and apologized about my dissatisfaction, themanager, "Karen" was curt and pretty much told me in so many words... too bad!A single plant, a 6 or 8 inch pot, 1 balloon nd delivery locally $60!

Sent my mom an arrangement for her birthday. I live out of state and normally use this shop. This is what a $100 arrangement looks like these days? I was hoping $100 would have popped a bit more than this. I will say funeral work and center pieces are amazing from this shop.

We hired Karyn for our wedding and it was amazing! I'm the girl who never planned her wedding and had only a vague impression of what I wanted. I told her some colors, something hanging and the words "fairy-like". She took that and flew! The flower crown was originally meant for my niece as a flower girl but she wasn't having it so it went to me and I became more fairy-like and I love it!!! I wish I could save the flowers, fresh, forever! The whole day was amazing and she contributed her talent and beauty to it! HUGE thanks to her and her mom, who made my cake.Highly recommend, especially if you're in the area! Prices reasonable and quality outstanding!

I cannot say enough good things about Karyn and her awesome shop. I had been in there a few times before to grab quick stems, but when I shopped around for my wedding she ended up being the most affordable and creative option! Like the other reviewers have said, I gave her a few core ideas/colors, and she produced bouquets and arrangements of such breathtaking, ethereal quality that they were my favorite aesthetic aspect of the day. The flowers held up for several days after the wedding as well, giving me ample time to get them preserved. I'll be using her for flowers for the rest of my life I'm so grateful!

Karyn is absolute pleasure to work with and was very open, helpful and knowledgeable when choosing the flowers for my wedding. She was flexible and understanding when my original wedding date was moved due to Covid. She has a beautiful shop on the Main Street which gives an insight to the artful work she does and was able to source rare flowers like Protea out of season for my event. She was punctual and willing to help with all different kinds of set up and on top of this her prices were unbelievably reasonable for the service and product she provided.

We worked with Karyn over the last year in preparation for our wedding at Glen Iris Inn in Letchworth State Park. Sadly, due to COVID-19, we had to postpone and then cancel our wedding.Karyn was AMAZING to work with. She answered all of my emails and calls quickly and was able to provide quotes for the ideas I had in a timely fashion. She was also extremely understanding when I had to make changes, which as a bride, is huge.While we never got to actually use her as our vendor, we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a florist in the Geneseo area!

I was a student and employee at SUNY Geneseo and always loved Karyn’s floral shop. Years later, I just hired her for my wedding florals and her work was absolutely stunning as well as affordable.
