Fort Hyde has become our home away from home and if I could leave more than 5 stars I would. Sarah and her staff are fantastic and always take excellent care of my dogs! I have a 1 yr old German Shepard and 6 yr old Shih Tzu and they LOVE coming here and honestly so do I. The obedience classes have taught me so much and have helped the build a strong bond between me and my pooches. When I pickup my dogs from boarding they're tired from all the fun they've had and who doesn't love that! Not to mention the very reasonable prices. Whether you're there for grooming, boarding, obedience, agility, yappy hour, dock diving, private lessons or scent work, you won't be disappointed. There's no one I trust quite like Fort Hyde!

Cannot say enough good words about Fort Hyde! I have a high energy, high needs escape artist dog with lots of anxiety who has been kicked out of boarding other places for having too high of needs or being too much to care for. Fort Hyde takes such great care of him, always accommodating his needs without an issue rather than being annoyed or making us feel bad, always making my dog and my family very comfortable leaving our dogs here. Staff is very friendly and they really care about the animals here. I appreciate them so much.

We have 2 shih tzus, Punkin and Coco, who love going there to have Miss Brooke groom them. They are wonderful with animals. It is very clean and friendly.

They are great with dogs. I take my dog there to get her spa day with brooke. Love Brooke. She's great. Very good prices. The place is nice and clean and very friendly people. Parking lot is big.

We (us and our dogs) LOVED it here at Fort Hyde Kennels! They were extremely busy during our arrival, but still managed to take great care of us first timers who had loads upon loads of questions. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable, prices are great (some services are actually priced lower than what we are used to in our area), there are plenty of 'add-ons' available to choose from when you're boarding. Our two dogs boarded together for one night. We added on the fun in the sun package, they enjoyed that together- twice! I would definitely recommend Fort Hyde Kennels! Thank you for providing such exceptional care!

Sarah and the staff are great with our dogs. We have boarded them several times for over nights, long weekends and for our vacations. Dogs always seem happy to go. I also sent my youngest dog (an extra large mixed breed) to Sarah for the 3 week obedience training since he was being a naughty boy and had awful leash etiquette. She did a great job. I was so pleased with our results and I feel very confident bringing him out in public now. I recommend to everyone I know.

We have had nothing but great experiences bringing our Golden retriever Goose to yappy hour and obeisance training with Sara! She is fantastic and knows what she's doing! We brought Goose to yappy hour today and he was the only one do to cold weather and still made it worth the 35 min drive out. 110% recommend

I have used their grooming services for 2 dogs and have been completely satisfied. The groomers have been very helpful pointing out health concerns and making sure we get the exact cut we ask for. I have been taking my current dog, Marley, for obedience and agility classes for 3 years. In every class he has grown in experience, skill and has over come many fears. Sarah is an excellent teacher with much patience with both the dogs and their humans. I recommend Ft. Hyde to everyone I talk to when grooming and classes come up in a conversation.

Fort Hyde is a great kennel to bring your dogs. I've brought my two large dogs there on several occasions for a week at a time. They always come back happy and exhausted. The workers clearly love dogs and give them lots of love. The main kennel area is noisy when new dogs are brought in, but mine enjoy the excitement. I've brought cats, too, and the accommodations are fine, but they don't offer cat playtime. Dogs get an option for playtime, swimming or training for a fair fee. All animals are allowed toys in their kennel. You can bring your own food if you want, but you don't need to bring bowls. Fort Hyde provides slow-feed bowls, as well as the ability to feed your dog from an elevated bowl. The price is very fair and they offer a discount when you board more than one pet.

Fort Hyde is a premier kennel. Our dogs are always well cared for. This is an establishment that you can feel secure in leaving your fur babies when you cannot take them with you. They have a great grooming service, and training classes as well! They also have Social times to take your dog to play with others. Full service facility, friendly, and kind!

Great place for grooming! We just moved to the area and we are so glad we found them. Havent needed to take my dogs there for boarding yet but the grooming is awesome. They do a great job when other places have had some trouble with my otherwise sweet dogs barking too much. But we never have an issue at Fort Hyde. And not only are they good at what they do their prices seem to be on the lower end for the area.

There is no one else I would trust with my fur baby! Sarah is amazing, you fan just tell she loves your pup as much as you do! My dogs have learned so much from her, and I can't say enough great things! The staff is wonderful as well! I highly recommend!!

This is by far one of the safest places to bring your pet for boarding, grooming, Socialization, & Training. The Trainer took extra time with us to help correct the problem we were having with our rescue dog. Can't say enough about them. Highly recommend you check them out for yourself and you will agree, they are the only place I trust.

This is the only kennel I have ever used, as it was recommended by a coworker when I was preparing for my first vacation since owning my dog. Much more affordable than any other kennel I researched. Workers are very pleasant. My dog did not come home with a bald nose or horse, which I have heard happens to many dogs from barking non-stop and sticking their noses through the fencing material at other kennels. I used them again for anther short trip and will be calling again soon to arrange for this year's vacation! Oh, also, I extended his stay by an extra day due to being exhausted from traveling and not wanting to rush there from Buffalo when we got home and there were no concerns from the staff regarding this!

I have taken my dog Ariel here for the past few years and Sarah and her crew are excellent. When in boarding, my dog has a good size inside area and also a short run outside. They offer swim and play times for an additional fee as well as a bath and nail trimming before pick-up. I Use Fort Hyde anytime I am headed East of Buffalo, they cost around $20 a day without the walking or bathes

My dog stayed here while we went on vacation for a week. They took very good care of her and gave me updates when I called to check in her. Beautiful facility and price was very reasonable as well. We will be returning should we ever need another doggie-sitter!

Easy, clean facility. Have your papers in order so no kennel cough problems. Large facility with extras, full service...cut bath play time... to even taking a swim for our Chessie. Safe professional feel.Our "go to" for vacation and long weekends without guilty feelings.

I see why they have you sign a paper, so they aren't liable for getting your dog sick. Especially looking at the bad reviews. Not coming back period, I would rather have a friend look after my elderly dog, then have her go back and get sick again.
