I was at the garden city location this afternoon around 1:30pm, the cashier at the number 4 cash register was extremely rude and nasty.The bill was $71.65, I gave her a 100 dollar bill and 2 singles, she didn’t understand and wanted to give me the singles back, so I explained to her that I wanted the $30 back without any singles, she immediately shook her head like I was giving her trouble which I thought this way would’ve been easier for her, then she turned around and gave me a 20$bill a 5$bill 5 singles 3 dimes and a nickel , just petty! I told her I didn’t want singles, cause I saw all the 10$ and 5$ bills in the cash register, she goes “ I need all the changes for other customers”, wait what? You need changes for others that’s why you gave me all the changes? By the way, I was nice and respectful the whole time.I went to the manager and told her the whole incident, she was very very nice and apologized to me. But I just feel like I need to write this review again, the same cashier has given attitude before but I didn’t say anything, it takes a lot for me to complain, not to mention even write a review.Cashier No 427909, at register number 4, on Saturday 01/27/24.

Waited 40 minutes for the deli. No managers on site. This location is a joke. One worker working while the other one in back on catering orders. Mobile app doesn’t work but they don’t care. The general manager of this store has always been dismissive.

I would like to share my experience with BJ's purchase and customer service. I have been a loyal member of BJ's for almost twenty years due to its proximity to my home. However, I have never seen any improvement in their service quality. Recently, I was overcharged for my purchase, and I filed a complaint with their customer service team online. Unfortunately, my complaint was rejected, which I find ridiculous. Therefore, I give zero stars to this BJ's location and customer service.

The deli is always a nightmare. Always a million customers and 1 (maybe 2) people working. I've waited upwards of 30 minutes to place an order. It's terrible for the customers and the staff who desperately need an extra set of hands back there. Other than that, I like this store.

I’d otherwise give this location 4 stars as it’s cleaner and better organized with better selection than the club that’s closest to me, but as a mom of 3 little kids, I’m giving it 3 stars because the changing table in the FAMILY bathroom is virtually useless. It’s mounted about 8” from the floor in front of the toilet. As an able bodied person, I even have difficulty using it, but for a caregiver with mobility issues, it would be impossible to change their baby.

The staff is friendly, the store is relatively clean, and they have a nice book selection that I like to visit. They also have fresh meats at the deli section, and nice looking cakes for special occasions.

Really nice experience buying in bulk here today. So many choices and deals are everywhere. They have TV's to crab cakes. I grabbed batteries when I only really came to check out the sock library. The place is clean and people are friendly, the have parking and handicap accessible. I also think they have a family bathroom. I will be back BJs thank you for today

I just attempted to exchange a box of size 3 Diapers for a size 4 at the garden city location and I was told no I then asked to speak to the manager and she (Marie) came over and immediately said “no we cannot do that for you, you have to deal with it” they confirmed that this was bjs item but still refused to exchange them for me. They were very unprofessional

Typical big box store. Better location, right off the Meadow brook parkway. Ample parking. Shopping carts are in good condition. Inventory plentiful, attractive prices, even beats H**e depot for garden supplies.Fast check outs for low volume shoppers.May not be suitable for small families as pre packaged perishable items are excessive. Though non perishable items are very competitively priced. Rotisserie chicken fresh out of the grill. 5% cash back on BJs master card. Customized Discount couponsMailed to your address. This store gets 5 star mainly because of staff member Cleila. I thought she was a manager. Everytime I come here which seems to be nearly daily, I can ask her for help and she is extremely knowledgeable and polite always with a smile on her face. She provides great service. Make her manager.

Customer service was super rude in trying to assist me with this promotion. They automatically assumed and said in a mean manner that it’s cause the coupon has the be from the app or from the coupon book. So we had to go back to take a photo of it for them to assist us. I also stood at the side waiting while my companion went to take a photo. That way they can also service another customer. The 2nd customer service lady then asked me to move over again in a rude manner. Mind you when I first got to the customer service line with two others in front of me, they were only servicing one person at a time, all of a sudden they’re servicing two at a time.Overall a bad experience here. I get it if you’re not in a good mood but don’t take it out on the customers.Noticed another review who also had similar experience regarding promotions. Perhaps bj just need to be more clear on instructions of how they want their coupons executed.

Good location, Right off the highway. Well patronized, .Even with a large parking lot, shared with LA fitness, a long walk during peak hours. Self check out counters reduce check out time. Pretty well stocked. Prices are below local grocery stores, except perishable commodities bought in bulk go waste for small families. Nursery plants are priced below Home Depot, though very limited, as also Garden supplies.

It’s peaceful shopping here and you’re not on line for a long time. However you barely find what you’re looking for. I constantly buys Agave, Dave Killer bread, snapper and sword fish and they’re always out of stock. The deli workers are really nice and service you quickly.

I found that customer service wasn't very customer friendly at all this time as usual. They would not price match their own online price. But thank goodness for Douglas, the online shopping manager. He took the time to download the online shopping app for me and walked me through the ordering process. I really appreciated his patience and professionalism in getting the best price possible on a television as I was about to leave and head over to Best Buy.

I placed most of my orders online lately...and I've been seeing extra charges on my credit card for merchandise that I didn't order... as well as the wrong amount for the merchandise that I did order... not worth it to shop here anymore. Walmart has better prices.

Much better than the racist westbury location but I’m not sure why we have to be stopped and frisked at the door for the membership card, I said “yup I got one” and kept walking. I in my entire life have never shown the front employee my Bjs card. And ALSO she’s suppose to say “hello welcome to Bjs” but allShe knows is “card” it feels like an episode of south park!

It's great. Clean. However their recycling center has deteriorated over time. Most of the bins are out of order. If not out of order they are full and you cant find anyone to help you. I wish they had a call button to alert them inside when you need help.

Another large and space BJs in the heart of Garden City. Super large parking lot so you don't have to cramp next to everyone that wants to be parked near the entrance. Prices do vary from one location to another so shop wisely.
