I was reluctant to take my pup to grooming shop because the last time he came back shivering for a week (it was another groomer). My vet said it's very possible that he was traumatized for whatever reason. After more than 2 years, I decided to give another shot and found Lucky Paws. I just asked for a puppy cut. The groomer shaved his body nicely, she left a little length. He feels softer than velvet! She also followed my request on the style of the ears well.The only thing is that, the face was very uneven on many places. I had to fix it when I got home. But that's not a big deal, because my pup was doing ok after! The groomer was very gentle, at least from what I saw, and I'm more concerned that my pup's doing fine than an uneven cut.Prices are very reasonable. They definitely made me feel confident to go back.

Please be aware of this place. Don't ever take your dog to this location. This has been the worst experience I have ever had in my life. Totally unprofessional and unruly. They Totally messed up my dog's grooming due to miscommunication and have the nerve to be disrespectful. They told me that they worked with Akitas. When asked to speak with the owner, they acted like he didn't exist. I asked for the owner who they tell me is Mike. No last name. They all said they didn't know his last name. 3 representatives from this company. Louis took my complaint with pictures and told me the owner was going to call me. No phone call or email to date. This is why I have AMEX. You won't be Paid. Now so called Mike read this!!!!!!!!

I took my puppy here two times and they have done a pretty good job. Their prices went up in a six week period. I feel like they didn't do a good job on her nails which is the most important part. They seem to be the same length and don't seem filed either. My dog seems to like the place so I probably will bring her here again.

Horrible service. Every time I go there they say one thing on the phone and another thing in person, about the price and the appointment time. Have zero communication between the staff members everyone says something else.

Took my dog for grooming first couple of times it was great they were quick and my puppy looked great last time I took him they took 4 hours for a simple trim and nail filing when I got him his head was basically bold the owner went to the back to hide while I waited a while when she came out they had the nerve to say that the hair cut was what I asked for ! She dismissed me and never addressed the problem. I’m sad I thought it was a great place but I guess it depends on who’s doing the grooming for the day. I wished they owned up to their mistakes instead of calling me a lier.

I’ve been going to Lucky Paw since they opened in fresh meadows. The staff is always friendly and the groomers do a great job. My mini poodle always looks handsome leaving the appointment.

Got my small and frail Maltese groomed here for $77.71. This included hypoallergenic shampoo and a nail trim. It took less than two hours and they were very communicative before, during, and after the grooming.There is ample street parking, and you shouldn’t get ticketed for leaving your car for a few minutes to bring your pet in and out.

We brought our 9 month old puppy in for her first grooming today. We were nervous as first time puppy parents but Mike the owner was very nice, and his super friendly groomer were very welcoming & transparent. The finished product was wonderful. Great haircut. Our pup looks great and we will be returning in the coming months. Highly recommended.

Brought my dog Rocco to Dog Lyfe for the first time on Saturday and our experience overall was 10/10. Mike is welcoming and the store is clean. My dog is a mini Australian Shepard and he’s been groomed consistently by one groomer for years but he automatically loved Sylvia! She followed our requests on how we wanted Rocco groomed and we are LOVING how he looks! We will definitely be back soon 😀

Got there on Sunday for the first time for grooming a mini Yorki. They told me that the price is $69 but when I came back to pick up my dog and pay them. She charged me $85 without even telling me And when I ask why? She said “that’s how the machine charge..” i ask over and over what do you mean?? Can you explain?? She went to someone inside and the girl inside sound unpatient telling her it’s tax. No its not! Tax is not extra $16 on $69! And when I told her it’s impossible and I got really mad telling her I don’t like when someone tells me a price and then charge my card whatever he feels like. And you should explain or tell me before charging my card! So she just went inside without responding and threw the dog in my hands and told me you’re all set. WHAT??? What a bad experience! This is not how you keep and treat costumers. Thank you but no thank you.

I just went there to trim my dog Snowball’s nails.they greeted me immediately. I was lead to the groomer and she was the sweetest gal. She was patient to hear me tell her about my dogs old age and I told her to be careful and gentle with my dog. I had a great experience there. I’m not sure why the previous reviews were bad. I def recommend this place. I’ll be there regulars from now on. Thanks

Swift and clean grooming! Second time getting my dog groomed there and I think this is going to be his permanent groomer. I didn’t catch the name of the woman who did it, but even though my dog bit her she still made sure to do a beautiful job. Immensely grateful for that!!

I go there to have my dog groomed. I love Vanessa and so does my dog. They groom quickly by appointment, so your dog is not there for hours. I cannot say enough about them.

When are you having your going out of business sale? It is the only time I would ever consider going within a thousand feet of your store. You know who you are. You are rude, abusive, and wholly unprofessional. There is no excuse to treat customers the way you do! No excuse, and if you think there is, check yourself into a mental institution AND GET HELP! You didn't give me proper change. You yelled and screamed because I didn't pick up my phone. I came to get the dog two hours before your closing time and you screamed as loud as you could anyhow!
