This is the WORST Walgreens in the World! I've been coming here for decades and it hadn't gotten any better. You would think with new management or new employees maybe it would improve. It's as if they train them to care less and have no care in the world about the customers. I Pharmacy is horrible, the photo department is horrible. None of the managers have people skills not even a welcoming disposition. My husband refuses to go there, he will only use Baldwin and we are in NorthEast Freeport. You always have to wait hours for RX to be filled. Last night we'll at photos a young lady came in to pick up something that should have been ready and when she was told it wasn't she told the manager to cancel it. I called today for something that should have been ready at 7am for me to call at 5:15 and be told it will be ready in another 1hr and/ or 45 mins, is ridiculous There is a Walgreens in Jamaica that was closed down, I don't know why but if it was Bad service or anything like it maybe Freeport should be next, that's how bad it is.They next step is to write Corporate!!!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We visited from out of state. We stopped in to get some supplies. We asked to use the restroom- Saturday @10am, this restroom was so disgusting. . Overflowing tissue with bowel movement on it and the odor of used sanitary napkins with exposed dried blood hanging out the trash cans was too much. I was so embarrassed for the employees working there to function in a facility of such low maintenance. I didn't take pictures due to the disgust and I could only hold my breath for so long. PLEASE give a damn about people shopping in this area. Give a damn by providing a clean restroom.

Today Monday (11/06/23).A Latina is working, I think of Dominican origin; in the morning shift. In the photo area. Her name was Yamaris; She had a very bad attitude towards serving customers. You should talk to her and let her know that Latinos are kind people and we are known for being sweet and humble.

Worst pharmacy ever!! I called to check the status of a prescription and I was told it would be ready at 9:30pm. After waiting two hours I went to pick it up and I was told they didn't have it and they won't have it the next day. I was told that if I wanted the medicine I have to call other Walgreens myself and see who has it. Not only was I given misinformation , there was no apology or assistance with resolving the issue.

I’ve had the unfortunate experience of using this as my pharmacy, the pharmacy manager will lie to customers in order to avoid assisting or dealing with any issues. The front end is just as bad; when you ask for assistance locating a product, they will just tell you “they don’t have it” in order to avoid assisting you, when in fact they do (this happened to me with a shift lead). After several months I went back today, I needed an item from a locked box so I pressed the call bell 3 times ( it rings three times each time you press it for a total of 9 calls) and no one answered: so I left. I use a mail order pharmacy (alto) and will no longer shop at this Walgreens. Customer service in both departments is non existent.

I love shopping at Walgreens everyone is awesome but I want to give a special shout out to Alexa who helped me in the beauty department. She greeted me so pleasantly and asked if I needed help, I said yes told her the color of my dress and she gave me what I needed. She even takes the time and explained to me how I should color coordinates it. Excellent! This was very helpful for someone who hardly wears makeup. Thanks Alexa for helping my wife 💓

I don't normally give negative reviews on places but I'm writing this so others don't make the mistake of having this be their pharmacy. On multiple occasions I've called for an update on a prescription and they told me it would be filled in an hour, so I waited 3-4 hours and went to go pick it up just to be told it would be another 30-45 minutes before it's ready. As I'm typing this I've been waiting in the line for the pharmacy for 20 minutes without anybody even acknowledging that I'm here. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT make this your pharmacy, travel the extra distance to a different one.

This is probably the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. The cashier at the pharmacy counter is very slow and extremely rude. She could care less about the customer and doesn't seem to know what she is doing. I will be changing locations soon even if I have to travel more. I asked her if there was someone else at the counter since she was taking so long with a customer and she told me she was the only one and that if I didn't want to wait i could come back since they close at 10:00. The manager came and asked me what i needed. I asked her if there was another cashier. She said there wasn't. Two minutes later someone else came to help at the register. There is always issues with waiting at this location.

I usually dont write negative reviews, however I had enough with this slow & unintelligent services. Trying to fill a prescription that my mom has been out for a few days. Go to pick up & not filled. Pharmacist could not explain why, tells me they are short of staff & could not fill it today & to come back tomorrow. Only to find it was closed. When you go to pick up your prescription it's always a long line. Need to revamp the way prescriptions are filled.

Went to this pharmacy for booster shot. Absolutely awful experience. Since it was my first time there, I was unfamiliar with pharmacy. Asked pharmacy employee and she stated have to go to front of store, get form and fill out. Then once filled out form, went back to speak to pharmacy employee who informed me to take a seat and wait. There were only 2 chairs and no where to sit. After almost an hour, went back to pharmacy employee and asked if I should continue waiting. Then they told me to go to another area of pharmacy and wait. After almost another hour, I got my shot. The only one who knew what he was doing was gentleman administering shot. I spoke to about 6 employees and each one gave me different instructions. Absolutely unprofessional and disorganized employees. First and last time in this pharmacy. Don’t waste your time going to this pharmacy.

This Walgreens is the closest to my house. It is always fully stocked and clean. The pharmacists are always so helpful and kind. One employee, John, greets me whenever I enter and helps me find what I need. He is warm and friendly.

My cousin inquired about a price. He even showed the cashier. Her reply "Well, I don't know what to tell you!" You keep up the great customer service over there Freeport Walgreens!!!2 years later and this Walgreens is still a 1 star. The older lady at the pharmacy is rude! She does not know how to interact with customers.

Do NOT use the drive thru pharmacy. I’ve tried soooo many times and every single time it is INFURIATING. You will be waiting for eternity for them to even acknowledge you. And if there’s a car in front of you or a line in the store FORGET about it. You could get a degree in chemistry and start your own lab in less time.

Any five star reviews are by employees and their family. This is absolutely the Worst pharmacy service of any Walgreens across the US. They will NEVER answer the phone. The most basic prescription takes hours to fill. They lose prescriptions and simply don’t care. This has been going on for years and only getting worse. Sit in the drive thru for 10 minutes before anyone comes to the window. Receive a text that my prescription is delayed due to insurance and I don’t need to do anything, they will handle it. Two days later I call for the status and they tell me they don’t have any prescriptions for me. I tell the person the script was written two days earlier. She puts me on hold and comes back and says they have it. Send my husband to pick it up and they never updated my address and he doesn’t know my old address so they don’t give him the prescription. I’ve asked them to update the address three times. The next day he goes to get the script and they tell him it was already picked up. He finally gets someone to check and they find the prescription. Just horrible horrible service. They never confirm the number of scripts you’re picking up and several times when my daughter or husband picked up my scripts there was one missing. My mother-in-law has diabetes and has received someone else’s prescription. Dangerous and switching all of my scripts to CVS.

If you have a fedex drop off package, avoid going to this location. Staff, in particular (John & Angie) do not know how to measure a box (LxWxH they don't know the difference between the length and the width of the box) and therefore does not know how to follow they own policy. They also said they dont print labels from QR codes but every other walgreens does. Lazy & incompetent staff. The store manager, Angela, wasnt there but she should consider training staff in proper measuring and store policy ( 48 in x 25in x25 in )

I asked the pharmacist if I could get the covid vaccine, she said no because you need an appointment. I don't understand why all the pharmacies have a welcome covid vaccine walk-in sign if they wont let you get one without an appointment.

The lines are terribly slow. Something has to give, you have this one cashier that is so slow it makes me not want to buy anything, if I’m in a rush I rather steal cause it takes too long. Every Hispanic person on the line she takes up an extra 5 minutes to talk to them being very inconsiderate to every other person on the line. I’m a Caucasian male and this is unacceptable I have the right and privledge to get my items as soon as I pick them up.

I called to ask if they accepted my insurance because I told the woman on the phone that I had already been to another pharmacy earlier in the day who said they do not take it, and I did not want to call the doctor over and over to send my prescription to different pharmacies all over Freeport. I gave the woman the information she asked for so she could double check for me. She assured me that they would accept it and that I could go ahead and have the prescription sent over. I called again an hour later to confirm that it had been filled and find out what copay would be required from me. She then informs me (same person!!!) that they do NOT take my insurance. They are lazy and incompetent. Do not waste your time or money here.

Line is always extremely long and slow moving, manager is not very helpful either. I haven't visited in about a year due to the very poor / lack of adequate management, thought I would give it a try , but unfortunately nothing has changed. I will stick to my local CVS

As I sit in my car at the drive thru for the pharmacy. I've literally been om this line for 30 minutes and couldn't get off because people in front and behind me. This is horrible! Still have NOT been acknowledged!!!! Do Better or Close the drive thru window!

Horrible! Poor Supervision and zero staff. Went to buy Claritin in the aisle for 20 minutes and pressed the assistance button. No one cared. This store really needs some sort of quality assurance.

It is a headache shopping here during the day thanks to long lines and never enough employees on the register but I love that it is open 24 hours in case I have an emergency in the middle of the night. Has a competent pharmacy staff.
