Surprisingly small by Target standards. Huge parking area, and the store seems to be ‘L’ shaped. It’s got most everything every Target has, just less of a selection. One thing it has that few other locations have is employees who go out of their way to be helpful. That look and listen to you when you ask a question and give proper directions. And come right over when you ask for a locked case to be opened. Plus self checkouts, which is great for me, and even greater for shoplifters.

This use to be my go to target. Now it is literally the worst target on Long Island. Everything is locked away. They don’t come when you press the assistance button. They have more employees at the Starbucks than on the floor. There’s always something wrong with half the self checkout machines. This place needs corporate intervention and new management.

This is the worst customer service 😒. The workers were huddle up in the back like they're exchanging cake recipes. 20 min to get help in electronics. Then when I asked for a manager she did nothing to correct. Target can save money by hiring Robots. Freeport location SUCKS !. LAZY BUNCH OF EMPLOYEES!!!. CLOSE THIS STORE!!! OR TRAIN THE EMPLOYEES.

This place is in desperate need of management. Every time you need something from behind the locked cabinets, no one's around. The wait is extremely long because very few employees have a key. When you finally find a "manager" and complain about the situation, they just tell you to complain to corporate. There are clearly plenty of employees hanging around without enough work , but do to the poor management, the problem will continue. like I started this review."THIS PLACE IS IN NEED OF MANAGEMENT "

you better pray the item you need isn’t in a locked cabinet because good luck finding an employee around to unlock it. the little help buttons are just there for display, no one actually comes to help and don’t go searching for someone cause every employee you ask for help will just tell you they don’t have the key.

Buyer Beware!!!!!!Buyer beware when buying Apple ear pod pro online to pick up at this store location.I have purchased an Apple ear pro online to be picked up at this location and they gave me an old used air pod pro. I didn’t checked it until I got home. I called the store 10 times and no one answered the phone. I called customer service online and they told me to take it back to the store. As soon as I arrived at the counter the manager checked it and told me I can’t take it back because the air pod inside the box doesn’t match the bar code on the box.I was trying to explain to her that’s the reason why I’m returning it. Right away she dismissed me with an attitude. She needs more training as a manager! She refuses to hear me out . She thinks I was in the wrong. I asked her to check her security camera to see what they gave me and then she went and got the security supervisor.I want Target to know not everyone is a thief and a scam!Thank you Jesus that the security supervisor see my heart and honesty and he had the manager exchanged it for me.I aLeo over heard her saying to him that she wasn’t going exchange it and the security supervisor insisted and told her to go ahead.Never again will I shop here!Best Buy here I come

Smaller Target ("Express") location. Sometimes have limited stock of merchandise available. Online/mobile app order with store pickup is convenient, especially with the option to bring items to your car.

Clean store, but very small. Inventory isn’t the greatest. There have been times when items are shown in stock online, but when I go to the store, they’re actually sold out. Other than that, it’s still a nice place to run in and get a few small things.

ABSOLUTE worst customer service and RUDE employees. I am a loyal target shopper and I will NEVER spend another dollar of my money there now. There is not one cashier to scan an entire cart full of groceries. Everything is self check out. When you need help at self check out there is no one to be found. I had an issue with an item, not scanning as the sale price, when waving down an employee after waiting for five minutes , the employee was extremely rude and asked me to show her the product in my cart. When I showed it to her, she yelled at me “pull it out of the bag! “And then was a palled by her reaction, stared at her, and then she quickly changed her attitude. She did not honor the sales price and made it seem like I made the mistake. Which was not true. They do not honor the sales listed in the aisles. Also, there are no employees that have a fitting room key. It took three different women to try to find someone with a key to let us in the fitting room. After my experience at the self check out, I was so upset by how I was treated that after I loaded my groceries in the car and spent over $200, I realized that I left a huge package of toilet paper and a case of zevia soda on the bottom of my cart. When I drove 25 minutes home, I then realized what I had left behind. I called the store for 35 minutes, tried every prompt to try to reach somebody and no one answered. I tried one more time before getting in the car, and I finally got a hold of somebody in electronics. The lady in electronics was walking up to try to find help regarding this issue and she hung up on me. I then tried again for another 10 minutes and was unable to reach anybody on any prompt. This is horrible customer service! I then drove an additional 25 minutes back to the store to see if my items were still on the bottom of the cart and to let customer service know what happened. When I arrived, the items were no longer on the cart outside. Perhaps if they had answered the phone 45 minutes earlier one of the staff members could you retrieve the items for me and put them on hold until I could return. Instead, I went back to customer service and had to deal with the same rude employee. They gave me trouble at self check out. Ironically enough another customer in front of me was having the same issue with the same sale item that did not ring up correctly. When I told her what happened she told me that once it leaves the store there’s nothing they can do about it. She brought over somebody else who told me the same thing. I said there is nothing you can do to provide me with good customer service after I just spent over $200 at your store. They said no. No resolution no help absolutely zero customer service, I asked for the phone number to the corporate line and the phone number they gave me was incorrect. I googled customer service, corporate line and was able to file a complaint. The individual who I spoke with was very unsympathetic and was just going through the scripted words. I asked when I can expect to hear back from somebody he said he did not know. so I asked him again no resolution to this awful experience and my loss of $23 between the toilet paper and the case of soda and he said no not at this time. Horrible job Target!!!!!!!!

36 minutes agoNEWI would like to start this off by saying I’m a consistent customer at this location. I shop here at-least a few times a week. I spend a lot of my hard earned money here. But as of today I will no longer shop here and advise all my friends and family against shopping here. On Sunday 9/17, I was waiting on line for the cashier to ring me up, but a different employee call me over to a different cash register. In the moment I thought nothing of this as I was in a rush, as she proceeded to check me out and took my cash, she vigorously checked the money I handed to her. Making in evident she thought there was an issue with my payment. She ended up calling over to another employee to look over the money I had given, which brought a lot of unwanted attention to the situation. I was very confused, the cashier started talking under her breath so then I said “excuse me”, she then answered giving me a compliment on my piercing which I thought was inappropriate. They both proceed to laugh amongst each other. I was extremely embarrassed, I felt discriminated against, I left this establishment in tears. As a loyal paying customer this experience was less than desirable.

The wait for an employee to bring the key to unlock the glass doors are ridiculous 🙄. Apparently management at this Target could care less about the customers as they seem to be ignoring the complaints made about the wait

it’s ok but they NEED to add albums for example there’s absolutely NO albums at all and other then albums there’s also other stuff that people want but it isn’t there and the prices are so high for what? and even employees can be pretty rude for some reason and the store is small so the target in Westbury is better

Employees having private conversations by self check out and when you have a question they look at you as if your the rude one for interrupting them… then you ask if they could see if they still have a product in stock they said maybe check that aisle if it’s not there then we don’t have it (even though it says they have plenty in stock and you told them you checked that aisle already)…. Then they continue to have their conversation again. I then went to another rep which was super helpful and checked the scanner and she said they probably have the rest in the back which she went to go get for me, which was great. Honestly the rudeness of those employees that were by self checkout ruined that store for me, I’ll be shopping at another Target… they need to hire better employees!

Store needs to carry a section for vegan products. Copiague, selden carry products shouldn’t have to go out of my way to get vegan products that other Target stores carry. Step up your game people!!

No solutions for loyal customers, faulty gift cards with a zero balance!Three separate gift cards purchased, and they had a zero balance, very embarrassing to give people gift cards, and when they tried to use them, they had a zero balance on them. When I went to the store to get assistance in replacing the cards, the manager basically told me that there’s nothing they can do and that I need to call corporate. That is such poor customer service, and they had no other solution available. Although they were not rude, I think that’s such a large company should really have a solution to some thing that clearly has happened to more than one customer. I will not be shopping here again.

Although Target is a terrific store with great values, their employees really should make it easier to return cans and bottles ( deposits that you have to pay for, and NYS reimbursed them for) The employees are rude and nasty when you return them. There should be no limit on the amount returned in a day.

Faulty Target gift cards with no ResolutionI warn to purchase three gift cards for teacher appreciation week at target in Freeport last week. I’ve shopped here often and although I had a receipt where I spent over $300 on things, two different managers told me that there was nothing that they can do to replace the three gift cards that I purchased that had zero balance on them, although I paid for them. I asked to have the gift cards replace and they told me that they are not able to do that, they also told me that I should just call the target corporate number on the back and have me Somehow chase corporate for some thing that I purchase in their store. Although the manager and the customer service person or kind, it is really quite ridiculous that they would not have any solution to replacing a target gift card from their own company that had a zero balance on it, and made a customer wait online and make a second trip to the store. Needless to say , I will also be letting the three teachers know that target did not honor my purchase so that I can be sure that they also share their negative experience. It’s unfortunate that large corporations like target that make a lot of money making their customers do self check out now, assign managers to their stores, with no authority to have a viable solution for a customer that paid money which is in their corporate pocket. The saddest part of the story is that there are three wonderful teachers that did not get to enjoy their gift. I will now have to figure out a way to contact corporate, but in the interim, since a lot of these companies are focused on their reviews, I urge managers to understand that they need to raise these issues to regional managers into corporate to have the ability to solve the problem at the store. The money is already in their pocket and it’s really horrendous Customer Service that they can offer zero solution to money that was spending their store and I had to leave empty-handed.

Worst Target experience I’ve ever had. The women’s bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I cut my shopping short and went to Marshalls to use their restroom. I ended up spending money - which I probably would have spent at Target if I hadn’t rushed out of there.

The store manager who worked tonight and the drive up worker are racist….. I was totally disappointed and disrespected by the teen that dealt with my order. When I go to westbury to that location I have never been treated as such. They made this lil store to validate people and give them jobs but if your in a business of customer service you should work as such. I am definitely taking my complaint to corporate and definitely outside the company. I am disabled I don’t like and didn’t expect to get treated as such. Lol I was told I couldn’t get the name of employee from night manager who also refused to give her name saying it’s company policy not to give employees first name out so I’m coining for both her and the employee who should be held accountable for there actions. There’s one way to skin a cat.

Did a “quick” run at Target, and as most of us do I ended up wanting something I did not go there for but wanted to get it since I and it were there, lol. Granted it was almost 9am, but I couldn’t seem to find a sales associate to unlock a Switch game I wanted. I got aggravated with the wait and decided to just check out the things I really went there for. Out of my frustration I mentioned to the acting manager there and expressed my frustration. He calls for someone to assist, but at that point I was already checked out and done. But not before I grabbed a Starbucks drink. The manager finds me and is so apologetic about the situation and before I could say anything he rectified the situation right away! Rafeh, the manager I’m speaking of really went above and beyond by even looking for me, and for that I will continue to be a loyal customer to this Target. Thank you so much, Rafeh!

produce is poor quality, I shopped here on several different occasions for produce and it was rotten or on its way out. Avocado, sweet potato, onions, blueberries…all rotten or on their way out…. Some even had mold on them… really disappointing. Avoid self check out during the day….if you run into an error you’ll be left waiting there for a while… you’ll either have to chase someone down or hope someone sees you- yikes.

The phone at customer service in Freeport, NY rings for about 20 times then someone picks up and hangs up immediately. This has been going on all afternoon. Earlier in the week I was told to call back on this specific day to speak with Jose, the manager. Extremely frustrating. How does a store run in this manner?I reported this to Target's general customer service to no avail.
