Don't use their mobile app it's horrible. Every single time I use it either when I get their the app all of a sudden doesn't function or after receiving the confirmation that my order is ready it's not ready. Member service doesn't even have clear answers. Invest in a better app system BJs or better yet don't make it an option.

Store lacks customer service and Manager Michael lacks experience. Purchased a tv online with a coupon for in store pick-up. Store canceled the tv due to not having it in stock. When I went to the store to purchase a similar item and asked customer service if they could apply my savings being the coupon didn’t regenerate from the canceled order I wasn’t helped at all. Employees refused to assist me with the situation and acted as if there was nothing that could be done. I’ve been a member since 2016 and that’s the customer service I received. Only looking for assistance for an inconvenience that was caused by the company not by my actions.

This location is poorly stocked. Gone there on several occasions and items are on pallets and not stocked. Or not there at all. Once I had to go into the walk in fridge,retrieve the item myself. This is during peak times on Thursdays,Fridays etc. Wasted my time and had to go Westbury location to finish shopping numerous times. Very inconvenient especially since this location is closest.I won't even speak about the horrible line management at yhe gas station. Unnecessary line because cars wont pull forward to pumps at distant end of station. Easily fixed by attendant, but nothing is ever done. This location is just poorly run. Shame on you.This BJ's operation is disrespectful to the community that patronizes it. Do better .

Since they hired new people, shopping has become more pleasant. They don't have as much inventory regarding pet products because the store is smaller than other locations. Checking out always takes long so that is why I rate it 4 stars.

On this holiday eve, the butcher was very accommodating in getting us the cut of Brisket that we needed to make Grandma’s Christmas great, despite the rush of customers. I wish I had his name because he really deserves recognition for his warm and accommodating customer service! Thank you very much!

Complete nightmare to get in the parking lot all because BJS doesn’t want to hire anybody to direct people at the gas pumps. I’m sure they’re losing a lot of money of gas sales for this reason aswell. Plus It’s always frustrating getting onto the meadowbrook parkway because of this reason! After all of these years, you’d think this location would figure it out!!

I was there 1/5/2024 it was a Friday afternoon . I did not get the employees name . But she was a blonde woman standing with another younger African American woman by the check out lines . The blonde lady was extremely rude . She was going back and forth with me . The other young lady asked me to follow her and was willing to get me away from that employee and offered her help. She went ahead and apologized on her behave and said to me “she has a lot of anxiety “ . Like ok? . Idk but these employees need more training .

Getting gas here is a project there need to be a expert to direct traffic because humans are the worst so selfish & no consideration other people, for a gas station that has several pumps. The people do not nlknow how to move along.

Ordered a birthday cake for my daughter. They spelled the name wrong! I had toBring the cake back to get fixed. Took an hour out of my busy day trying to fix their mistake.No apology, nothing. Very rude and will be done with the bakery.

Most of the time I can find the items that I want. My problem with this BJs is their staff, particularly their younger staff. I don’t know what type of training they receive but I feel like I’m constantly having to deal with attitude of these young people and it’s disgusting. I don’t know what they’re angry about but they have no respect for paying customers and it only seems to be getting worse. Management needs to do something about this, train them better or don’t have so many of them working the cash registers. And you can’t say much to them because this new Gen is quick to pull out their camera phones and cry about somebody being “mean” to them. Hard working adults don’t have time for these snot nose attitudes and should not have to be confronted with them when we’re spending our hard earned money. I will probably do my holiday shopping elsewhere because if they can’t handle everyday interactions on a regular day I don’t even want to step in their during the holiday season.

I have been a member since 1998. I was very disappointed in the selection of gift baskets this year. I own my own business for 28 years and am a sole proprietor. Every year I would spend approximately $1K in Wine Country Gift Baskets and/or Candy Towers for my customers for Christmas appreciation. (usually in the $75-$100 range) I would have to get there early because they went so fast. Very unimpressive selection this year. Can you step it up next year????

This location is the worst when it comes to managing the grounds, between the fuel station and parking lot, there is absolutely no management, completely discombobulated.... HEADACHE..... the inside, as far as product goes, if they don't have it, they will get it or if they are out of a certain item, it may take a min, but eventually, they figure it out and eventually , figure out that the best selling items should be kept in stocks on hand.....

The worst experience I had with 2 managers that were rude. I did an online order and waited for 1 hour and a half for them to get my order. They wanted to give me my perishable item's that were sitting in a basket for an hour. Then, I was charged for items that weren't in my cart. Tried to call no one to answer the phone. I shop there all the time but not going to anymore.

Beware, the customer service at this location is very poor. The majority of the cashier's lack respect for the customer. We as customers, pay a fee to purchase at BJ's. This is not a free service, we as customers don't need the bad attitudes and disrespect from all this miserable people who don't want to do their jobs or don't want to come to work. Listen, I get it no ones life is perfect we all have our ups and downs but if you work in a customer service field check your attitude at the door. Don't bring your problems to your job. Trying to get a hold of the manager is like trying to get a hold of the pope. My experiences here have changed my mind to renew my membership next time around and I rather drive a little more and go to Costco.

Memorial Day weekend and nobody is here to fill propane. Hard to believe only one person in the whole building can distribute propane. I guess if this guy quit, they'll never sell propane again!

This store needs new management. To be blind to the fiasco that is the gas line constantly backing up onto Merrick Rd. shows a complete disregard to customers time. I have turned away numerous times as I have not been able to even enter the parking lot because of the backup of cars waiting for gas. Instead of easily fixing the problem by closing off the gas entrance and directing the cars forward through the side lot and have them enter through the back by where the air pump is and then exit back onto the side street, this would alleviate the backup situation. Now I just go to the Lidl store in Merrick, the milk and eggs are cheaper and the fruit fresher. The rest I rather just go to a supermarket. Time is money. I would go in to cancel my membership but I can't get in the lot.

I worked in Bjs in Freeport Long Island for 2 yearsI don’t recommend anyone to work there.They force their employees to work in every department, regardless what you applied for-with no extra pay. The “managers” Jesenia, Erica and Anthony all lack professionalism.They treat you nasty and they work with favoritism no matter how much experience you have!Human Resources do not help. All of the employees quit within a week because of how terrible the workplace is. And when they quit, management does not step in to help, the work load of 20 lands on one person.This store does not care for their employees!

The customer service leaves something to be desired. Needed propane but forgot my card. No biggie, I’ll just pay the non-member price. Was told I can’t buy propane without a card (untrue). Then was told that the propane is not sold after 5 pm! How do you shut down propane sales at 5 when most people are getting off at that time? Also, not knowing the policy was off putting as well. I waited on the line for 20 mins to be sent off empty handed.

this store is ghetto. Bad customer service , no clue what they're doing. I usually go to Costco where they have professional trained workers, usually 4 at customer service. Bjs had one lady ,and after waiting 10 minutes to renew my card she wanted $144. I left the food behind and wont ever go back and ive been a customer for 15 years.

I don't think this management team has ever ran a business before. Have personally witnessed staff ignore people that needed help, cleaning staff nearly run over customers with the mopping cart they use, axes unsheathed and loose, parking lot ragers, not to mention the gas station is a complete disaster that spills onto the main road.
