This is a great little gem of a pub in the village of Freehold. I feel like I'm in my Grandma's house, with so many heirloom/antique items around, photos on the walls. The bar is well-stocked, very cozy, & everyone is friendly (like Cheers?). The food is excellent: great burgers, sandwiches/wraps. Hubby had a dozen clams, w/melted butter & lemon - delicious. We're here for summers only, but make this Pub a target destination each time!

First time ever coming here. Waited minimum of 40 mins for a burger and wings (was NOT EVEN BUSY!) half of boyfriends wings were still raw!!! My wings were good but soaking in grease (can see in attached photo). There was a fight outside where sounded like a window broke. Only giving 2 stars instead of 1 cause they at least comped the meal. Just a shame cause we live 1 mile away and now will never be back.

Was passing through and decided to stop in for a bite. Nice little country store. On this particular day we waited just about twenty five minutes for one egg sandwich. There weren’t many customers in this establishment and the cook was slower then heck. The woman behind the counter happened to have an absolutely lousy attitude, other then that the egg sandwich was good. How could you mess up an order such as this.

This is an awesome country deli. Everything homemade and fresh. Don’t try the peanut butter chocolate cookies. You have been warned. They ran out of their daily specials by the time I got there today. There specials are amazing as well. I had their Italian Wedding soup which came with a butter roll. What more could you want. It was a struggle not to get a tiny meatball in every spoonful.

Quaint little old fashioned country store. Good subs and sandwiches made with boars head meats. A little pricey but very good. They also offer daily specials not to mention beer, chips and grocery items. Expect to pay more for just about everything than a large convenience or grocery chain store.

Huge portions and the BEST French fries (those super crispy kind that have some kind of magical coating on them) my 12 year old and I went for dinner after his game and got fish & chips, a BLT and onion rings. Everything was spot on and the service (April) was so friendly and welcoming. We’ll be back!

Old school country store with wood floors and that country store feel. Local homemade jams, honey and baked goods.Got a veggie sub recently. It was fantastic!! Staff is very pleasant.They also carry the old school sodas in the glass bottles. Birch beer, red birch beer, cola, Shirley temple, grape, etc. Birch beer out of a glass bottle is amazing.Only wish I have, is that they had bread or wraps that are gluten free. I'd order sandwiches way more often if they did.

We stayed next door at the owners inn that we rented out as an air bnb and stopped by the pub for food and drinks. We had a huge group of 10 people and they accommodated us all with no problem.All of the food that we tried was great, they have a super wide range of pub food. The decor and atmosphere was nice and we enjoyed playing pool while there as well.All the staff was lovely and we hope to visit again some day!

What A Great Place! A genuine Pub atmosphere that is both cozy and friendly! The staff is wonderful, the beer is cold and the drinks are made right and great. The food is always fresh and delicious, the fries are hot and the Roast beef is both home made and to die for! If you are looking for a place to kick off your heels and have a good time then this is your place. Oh and you don't have to worry about Social distancing. They are doing a fine job of sanitizing and keeping it safe for everyone. So go on over to the Pub and relax and have a couple of drinks and some great food!

Small Town Pub with a good selection of drinks, an always tasty menu bar foods, and most importantly a great staff and regulars.An excellent atmosphere for casual drinking and dining.The cherry on top is their reasonable pricing.But to go beyond, they offer a shuttle service later in the evening for inebriated patrons to keep everyone safe.

Love this place, the building, the people, I have come here off and on for years, great coffee in the mornings with a wonderful breakfast sandwich, and their lunch specials are great. I had a pastrami wrap the other day that was delicious, cracked pepper and sea salt kettle chips they have here, and any kind of drink you could want.

Such a cute rustic corner market. Beautiful handcrafted soy candles with delectable smells. The sandwiches they make here are with Boars deli meat and they are amazing! The workers are friendly and courteous. Definitely a place to stop at if you're looking for something to take with you on your ride through the mountains.

I went in to order a sandwich, as I was standing at the counter the phone rang and the lady took a phone order. When she was done I asked for a sandwich and was told I would have to wait until she made the sandwiches for the phone order. I explained I was standing there when the phone rang and you told the person to pick up their order in 15 to 20 minutes could you make mine since I was standing there. I was told no I would have to wait.

There is magic happening behind this unassuming corner storefront: Exceptionally prepared deli sandwiches with top quality ingredients. For those in the know, these sandwiches rival the old City Sub in Park Slope, in terms of the care and attention paid to ingredients and assembly. Worth a stop when in the Freehold/Greenville area!

While plenty of items on the menu are out of the freezer fried bar food (which absolutely have their place in this world), many of the items are handcrafted (and delicious af). The only problem is everything is priced like the latter. But let's be honest, if we're going to demand better service (higher wages) and higher quality food (yumm), we (you and I) have to pay for it. Not rocket science. So quit whining about high prices. If you're going to go out, be willing to support the restaurants who are doing great things with food. I will support this place because: their sandwiches are awesome. Someone there obviously cares about making things delicious. That is important to me. Support local!

I love a good local pub with a great casual, local atmosphere, and this is my go-to place! Bartenders remember what you like, steamers are never sandy, food is good, incredibly extensive menu, how do they make all that in where the heck is THAT kitchen?!?!?!? I'll take this place over a fancy restaurant anytime!

I lived down the street in 1991-93 and they had the best deli sandwiches the lady who owned it would give me credit for sandwiches and beer. She felt bad for me I guess. I worked on the golf course down the road and got drunk alot we lived in a mobile home by the golf course and it was always freaking cold but I sobered up and live at the beach in N. C.

Wow I used to LOVE this deli, even worked there. The new staff that's there now is TERRIBLE. There are a few girls there that are so nasty and rude. Not friendly and shady with constantly giving wrong change. Have been a customer for years but...now I'm good on going here.
