This is the best auction house I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Their customer service is excellent. I had purchased some items, and the team opened the gallery outside of work hours to let me pick them up.They provide excellent, detailed photos of their items, and will happily provide additional ones if you wish. I will definitely buy from Carlsen Galleries again, and would recommend them to anyone.

This is (by far) my favorite auction house in the Hudson Valley, and one of my tops anywhere. They offer fine quality antiques and art, mixed in with solid old pieces for use and decoration. The staff is friendly and unpretentious, and happy to answer questions. No small auctioneer can have specialists in all fields, but they do know a lot, and don't pretend to know more than they do. Prices are sometimes surprisingly modest.

Typical Yankee crooks. Wanted me to contact a 3rd party for shipping arrangement of $$$ of silver , give them my payment information and HOPE that they would pick my silver up and ship it to me.Perhaps time to try to be 1% of the REAL auction houses out there..? You know ... the ones with in house shipping....
