The staff is really good of what his doing. Sharing his experience and or knowledge about how to take care of the fish. It is wonderful. I bought 1 kind of pleco and it is really expensive. Their like 3 to 5 dollars more. But as for me its my hobby and I like it so I get it. But all in all this store has lots of aquarium fish to choose from compared to nearby pet stores.

I've been to this place a dozen times in the past 20 years for a variety of reasons, but one thing has always been the same: They have what I am looking for at a good price.This is a small store compared with the many large pet supply chains that operate in my area, and you won't find 50 brands of cat food here. You will find a better selection of fish and aquarium products.

The staff here it is absolutely Friendly and welcoming knowledgeable and just so willing to help and listen. Manny is awesome I always try to go to him although the other staff are amazing as well. Great selection of fish they have patience they check your water and tell you when it's safe to add more fish, what to do and they genuinely care, they are absolutely awesome.I just started my first 30 gallon fish tank about 2 months ago and they have educated me throughout the entire process on how to properly acclimate my water and keep my fish safe.

Best place to shop for fish, fish products, and many other supplies! The owner Manny is a good friend of mine. He provides very knowledgeable information about the fish, fish products, and his supplies in general. Very clean and well organized store as well. Definitely recommend this place is you’re looking for cool breeds of fish!

Great "mom & Pop" non commercial fish store. Manny and his associate are really knowledgeable and helpful. His stock might be slightly higher priced, but I always say " you get what you pay for". The fish are usually imported from overseas and always healthy and unique. Also if he doesn't have the species, he can get it for you. I truly enjoy visiting because is see something different every time I go. Keep up the good work Manny. You are and true asset to the hobby.

Had a great experience with my husband and son today. Picked up some fiddler crabs and sand. The employee and owner were honest, friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be return costumers for our other aquarium needs.

Horrible customer service from a guy named Bruce. I called to see if they had pygmy corys in stock and He stated he couldnt go check as they had alot of tanks. He said I would have to come in and check for myself. That would be a 30 minute drive and possibly come out empty handed. I will not be spending another penny until this guy is fired. The owner is very nice. Its a shame he has people like this working for him.

The owner was very warm and knowledgeable and gave sage advice. It's a hole in the wall, you can definitely pass it by if you don't know it's there. Mainly carried basic pet supplies, common fish and a few turtles. Great for if you need a common supply item, but for variety of live pets for sale, seek elsewhere.

I recently found this place after going to many Petcos and not finding what I wanted or seeing tanks full of dead fish. I’ve been here twice in one week and still forgot to get the kind mans name. This guy (may be the owner) was so sweet every time and helped me get plants and everything to create my first planted tank. I wish I could post a photo for everyone to see. I recommend this place because they have a large variety of aquatic animals as well as plants.

Just walked in, two gentleman standing by the front register watching TV. Waited five minutes for help getting crickets and not one person asked me if I needed anything. Walked the store to find someone else but nobody else was there. Repositioned myself by the register, the guy sitting behind never looked up. I walked out and I couldn't tell you if anyone noticed.

Manny and Bruce actually care about you and your fish, and will guide you through whatever concerns you have. Great selection of fish and always have something new and awesome when I come in! If I could give it 10 stars I would!

At first loved this store, purchased a fancy goldfish, died within 5 days. Brought fish back bc I was more worried about my other fish. Owner didn’t offer me my money back or another fish. Would not go back

Clean tanks and nice selection of salt and fresh water fish. Ask for Manny he is very Knowledgeable of the aquatic stuff. The prices are on the higher side but you get what you pay for. The quality of fish definitely supersedes Petco and other franchise aquarium places. Located right on Franklin Avenue, parking can be a chore depending on the day and time you come. You may find yourself needing to park across the street in the residential area or around the corner at times.

If you are interested in fresh and salt water aquarium pets, this is the place for you. Not only do these folks provide a lot of equipment and accessories to manage your own aquarium(s), but they also maintain live bait options for whatever tankbound critters that you have.More importantly, everyone who works there are experts in managing various fishes, reptiles, aquarium plants, feeding options, etc. MOST importantly, they are happy to help you manage your own pet environment that you are responsible for, they are generous with their time, when they are not busy maintaining their beautiful aquariums.Because they all wear masks and are Covid compliant, this would be a great place to bring your housebound children to just open their eyes to their own scientific and natural curiosities. When you watch your kids’ reactions as they see the colorfully beautiful fish, shrimp, and other sea creatures swim past their eyes, or the lizards that they will see, you’ll understand why the Franklin Pet Center will be the place for you.

Great place price is a little high but they know what they are talking about and guide you in the right direction. The fish are always in good shape here. Always a great experience here. I go weekly to pick something up. Much better than Fish world usa in whitestone

Loved this store! Multiple insects to feed pets and amazing chinchillas. Has great fish and loved the parakeet. The owner was informative and knows his business well.
