I really enjoy coming here on a daily basis! The employees that are working there now are really pleasant and very happy about helping a customer out no matter what. A few months ago, I wouldn't be giving this a good review at all. The employees back then, wouldn't lift a finger or help anyone out Whatsoever! I spend a lot of money at this store and they almost lost me as a customer forever because of the rude, lazy and disrespectful behavior from the past employees who were working there this past summer and I spend a minimum of $300.00 but most likely more than that. And that's no joke! Look at my store account and corporate will definitely see how much money I have spent on a monthly basis.

Shop alot there at times food isle's are scarce and over abundance of other stuff staff is great but have no control over merchandise coming in so isle's get filled with boxes fast

Asked a store associate for help to get something from the top shelf he said I’ll be with you in a moment…so I waited…he never helped me…At the checkout I said I want to buy 2 of these I asked for help and no one helped me to get another one…he said I’ll be with you in a moment…i said never mind I’ll get it myself…I got a broom I got what I needed from the top self…knocked a couple of boxes off the shelf ( I put them back ) and left. Thanks guys for not helping me!

This store always has a clearance rack which is nice. They have clothes such as sweat pants, scrubs and more, on top of their regular dollar store items.

Dollar general has a good variety of items at reasonable prices. It's a great neighborhood store. The staff is always polite and the lines aren't usually long.

I love Dollar General. Whether you are on a budget or not they have great deals and awesome finds that you won't always find in local Wal-Mart's. I enjoy the seasonal section. They always have great decor and up to date with the nice fresh looks. Food at DG is great too. DG is a one stop shopping spot. Cosmetics, toiletries, clothing (mens,women's, children's, and babies) home decor, party decorations, cleaning supplies, you name it they have it. Oh and animal food and toys. Have fun shopping.

It seems like the employees are trying the best they can. They are very helpful just wish they were a bit bigger seeing as they are the only store in fort covington area that's not a gas station.

This place was ok but it smelled funny. All these places have a funny smell. I did not give 5 stars because all their products are inferior.

Prices are the same as here in Quebec but you have to add the exchange rate.They dont accept canadian money but they do take credit cards.
