In the beautiful adirondack mountain.Can't beat the food .Get there early closes early most days.Friday is a fish fry and open later.Best fish in town. Hands down.Fresh donuts daily.Service is welcoming, friendly and efficient.Thanks for everything.

Delicious food! Definitely try the blueberry pancakes & pay a little extra for the maple syrup. Our waitress was attentive & super friendly. Great prices, especially when you consider that the cost of practically everything has gone up recently.

Food was ok. I ordered fish, sweet potato fries and mac salad. My husband ordered the Daves Ranch burger with sweet potato fries. The fish was decent sized, but was super greasy and soggy. I took the breadding off and ate just the fish which was ok. The mac salad was edible but nothing to write home about. There fries portion eas small. Again theu were ok but just typical premade frise that were super greasy. My husbands meal was not worth the price. It was a premade frozen patty with some cheese and onion ring on it. It was ok. He had a small portion of greasy/soggy fries. Again, ok meal but not worth the price. The waitress was very nice to us tho. But we ended up eatingboutside because there was a smell that was causing my to have a headache. Honestly it sorta smelled like cat pee really bad. Loved that it was in an old house but needed updated and cleaned better of that smell.

Saw this place while driving by on snowmobiles. The server was very pleasant and accommodating. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Definitely worth getting off the road more traveled. Will be stopping in again.

Great spot took my wife there midst after her PT first a late breakfast. Our food came just as we ordered it. Delicious and very attentive waitress. Best donuts around homemade. We always get a dozen. Highly recommend this diner better than another in the area.

Want there to eat when our usual vacation breakfast place was closed. The waitress was amazing, she was busy, yet still took the time to have little chats. Blueberry pancakes were so delicious. I ordered a second stack.

Coffee was great! We had a takeout order for breakfast sandwiches, and they were simple and tasted amazing. Truly a low key breakfast place, worth the visit. Plus, the scenery is beautiful.

I got the Sloppy cheeseburg plate(mac and fries) and the fries were bland,2 burgers not broken up fries not covered,the 3 sauces(a small squeeze of each only on the burgers). Basically the Sloppy plate not sloppy at all. The Server was awesome as she could be only one thoUpdate as of 3/31.Just be clear of anyone confused or whatever.The last sentence about the server is she was the only server on shift

I ordered the firehouse burger. It was incredible! Best burger ever.4 stars because: my burger and another person's burger was under cooked. One order was wrong. The waitress never checked on us after all our food was out. She never asked us if we wanted anything else like refils on drinks or dessert. I wanted dessert. Just saying.I would go there again and recommend it to everyone. Best burger ever!

Great little diner in the beautiful little town of Forestport, NY. Very Friendly owners serve wonderful food that only a family owned diner could serve! I highly recommend this place to anyone!! Also...their delicious homemade donuts are to die for! As a matter of fact, I frequently make a special trip from New Hartford (about 25 miles away) solely to pick up a dozen of their awesome donuts! I love them...you will too!

This place is your classic little breakfast spot. Sit back, sip hot coffee, have a hot breakfast and watch the regulars roll in. Colorful crowd, great food and service and a real gem. The Fish Fry is also a thing of beauty.

I have always loved little diners. The friendships that start and endure in them are throwbacks to another time, so when a present day diner makes customers feel this way, it gets 5 STARS from me. Go for the fun of it. Go for the delicious food. Go for server Delaney because she is a treasure! The diner is lucky to have her there, introducing people to each other, laughing and joking and being just a ray of sunshine. I wanted to like this place because I love local hometown places. But really disliked the food. Meal was greasy and bland and found a hair in the burger. Perhaps it was an off day. Staff were nice though.

This place is a small town diner in an old house. Everyone seemed to know everyone, it was very quaint. The service here was great, food was tasty and inexpensive. They even make fresh donuts on site. I would highly recommend this place if you're passing through, or staying at the nearby campground, like I was.

We love these small town places. Great food and service. Didn't try the donuts but they looked wonderful. We will have to make a return trip!
