Yesterday, some friends and I stopped in Bonnie’s to check it out and grab a late lunch. There is a great atmosphere inside the store you can tell the owners take pride in the shop. There was way more goods inside than I anticipated and the menu has some tasty offerings. For lunch I had a meatball tunnel; essentially a stack of meatballs, sauce, and cheese within a fresh and crispy garlic bread. Aaron makes a super tasty sandwich that hit the spot! I definitely will be stopping back when I return to the area. No doubt Aaron sets the bar high and delivers on deliciousness!

When in the Forestport area stop in to Bonnie's Country Store. Check out the meat on this Italian sandwich. Tasted as great as it looks. You won't find a more friendly bunch of folks in the North Country.

My family has been visiting Kayuta Lake for decades. Bonnie’s was genuinely missed and we are so glad they are back and better than ever! The new owners did a great job to keep that vintage Bonnie’s feel with a fresh modern twist. It is very clean, the staff is friendly, and the deli food is fantastic! They have online food ordering that is very convenient for those Adirondack hiking or camping trips! They even brought back the nostalgic penny candy and we were very excited to bring our little ones to fill a bag. Thanks for reopening our favorite Bonnie’s Country Store!

A Subway footlong is the same price as this sandwich and not nearly the same amount of meat and fresh vegetables, and it's local. Worth three minute drive out off the main drag when heading up to the adks. Everything else in the store was also reasonably priced, no more expensive than Fast Track. Melinda was a delight as well!

My husband and I stopped in yesterday on our way home from our cabin, I remember going to this store as a child for penny candy! I love the new look and the owners are super friendly. The potatoe salad and pasta salad was amazing! Love this place!

Have been to Bonnie's on multiple occasions for grocery items. In the past three weeks I've ordered takeout, "Hot Meatball Sandwich"...FANTASTIC!!! A full service bakery and salads also available. " Worth a stop!!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. My husband and I both git a turkey club sandwich for dinner last night. We ended up eating half of it for lunch today. They were delicious and the pasta salad was good too. I would go to Bonnie's even for milk and eggs.

Owners are super friendly. You feel like you are on vacation entering this country store. Don't let that dissuade you from trying their cuisine. Just had their gumbo and fried haddock sandwich. Delicious. I felt like I was back in New Orleans eating the gumbo. Haddock was cooked perfectly! You need to try it.

So glad to see Bonnie's up and running again after we all thought it was yet another casualty of the pandemic!! I don't get to come through Forestport much, but that little store is a sight that I remember seeing every year of my childhood, and every time I've been able to come through in my adulthood. I hope it will never really close!

Very nice country store, excellent food, the owner is very welcoming and friendly! All the work staff is very welcoming, making this a genuine country store, the kind that almost transports you to the simpler days. Wish I lived closer, and could visit more often.

Went in the store for the first time tonight. Store redone over and looks amazing. Owners super friendly. My husband ordered a sandwich and I ordered a wrap. They were both stuffed full and delicious. Highly recommend giving them a try. We will definitely be back.

First time . Family owned . Has a deli with a nice selection of food items . Service was excellent . Even was able to buy a new T-Shirt there in my size . Nice selection of grocery goods . Much different inside from the original Bonnie's Country Store . Modern , clean , spacious inside . A distance away from my home in New Hartford but I will go again .

The nicest ladies! The goose breakfast burrito is probably the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. They were so helpful and I even bought a homemade apple pie that I’ve very excited to try!

I go here quite often. The product selection is varied and good. The sandwiches and pizza are great. Quality and price are very good. But let's talk about the apple pie. I was waiting for some cold cuts being sliced for me. While waiting I was standing by two pies that were cooling. I found out they were made this morning. I couldn't resist and so bought one. My wife and I just had some. It is a great pie. It has lots of apple, not too sweet, nice cinnamon, and a nice flakey crust. Turns out this is one of the best pies I have ever had. Cute little place. Owner is really nice. I think his name was Chris. I found a cute little log cabin that he went down on the price in exchange for a Texas shirt from my hometown. Also, they have the best package of peanut butter cups!
